Personality:
Many years ago, there was once a simple boy who was born to a poor family consisting of his mother, his father and his younger sister. They were not wealthy but they were happy, having enough food to not starve and a warm place to sleep. He worked hard in the forest and mountains with his father from the crack of dawn to the beginning of the evening, to support them by bringing home the fruits of their labors, and he was someone who never minded lending a hand to others, admired by both his friends and family. True, life in the village was static, unchanging and too boring for this boy's tastes but he was certain even that feeling of dissatisfaction with following in his father's footsteps, and his grandfather's footsteps, would fade away given enough time. Content to live out the tedious days of his life peacefully and uneventfully until his death, how on earth could anybody have been prepared for what came next?

Ripped brutally away from his home, and forced to undergo a practically endless cycle of being cursed, beaten, tortured, and branded as the container of all the evil in the world and being punished for it day after day after day, without relief; the result of this horror was understandable. The poor boy lost his mind, and his dignity, and his sanity in one fall swoop. He progressed through the stages of utter shock to anger and then to fervent hatred, madly cursing the humans, cursing the world, and cursing himself as well. But eventually he resigned himself to his role and rotted away at the peak of a mountain like he was supposed to.

~~This evokes the Humans Are Bastards trope hard.~~

So when he was given a second existence as a Servant in the Holy Grail War, it's natural that Avenger was the antithesis of all the good in humanity entombed in flesh. He's quite lazy, perverted in regards to the ladies and laid back, preferring to take things easy and not bother with hard work, and has no sense of justice to speak of. Avenger is cunning, yes and he has no trouble adapting his plans on the fly but don't expect him to usually bother with long term schemes or complex agendas. He runs with what he's got and that's about it.

He'll shamelessly omit information if it's not asked for and needlessly drag out a situation on a desire for the novelty of it should it strike his fancy. If given the choice, he'll always select the easiest way, or even try to worm his way out of the situation altogether and he honestly doesn't care if other people see him in a poor light due to that. Avenger couldn't care less about what anybody else thinks of him. Having led a poor excuse for a life filled to the brim with physical and emotional torment, fear, despair, and betrayal by everybody he loved as a boy, and solitude has left deep, bitter scars that no amount of time or killing the humans he hates could heal in their entirety. His manner of speech is rough and uncultured, causing him to come off as rather rude and uncomfortable to speak with, and his manners are all but nonexistent.

Avenger prefers to behave selfishly. Outwardly, he's immature and whiny. If he's unhappy with the situation, it's guaranteed he'll let the people around him know via complaints or declarations of annoyance. There's an obvious casualness and disregard for social norms to him, considering he leaves his chest bare and never wears anything to cover himself up with but his tattered, red mantle and headband.

He is cynical, relentlessly mocking towards others, and bitingly sarcastic. He's also one of those people who is so... completely broken down with misery, hatred, pain and all the generally super terrible things that happened to him that he came out the other side of brokenness with mildly high levels of functionality, and a disinterest in bothering to distinguish between good and evil. His moral compass is seriously awry to put it lightly. He holds the belief that people should be true to themselves and do what they believe is right, regardless of how morally acceptable it is. Avenger wholeheartedly accepts everyone, no matter how horrible, just as they are and acknowledges carrying the burden of the wicked desires of humans as fine. He loves the world for it is worth hating to him, and tolerates and forgives humanity for their repulsiveness, divorced from his hatred of them, and this forgiveness validates their cruelty. ~~Evil unwilling jesus died for our sins.~~

And while he is pretty much the weakest servant ever summoned by the grail, he's still pretty abrasive, bloodthisty and homicidal despite being utterly weak. He kills indiscriminately and pointlessly, when given the chance to, and Avenger really enjoys doing it as evidenced by the torn up corpses he leaves behind after the fact. In a fight, he attacks like a wild beast, giving it his all to make a fast, cruel kill. This is a twist of irony, considering that in the light of day Avenger is capable of assuming the shape and identity of Shirou Emiya ~~resident protagonist of a very sexist eroge game~~, living out life with Shirou's friends and quietly enjoying it, the boy who is his absolute opposite in every way, being selfless, thoughtful, and hard-working. Or perhaps it's better to say that Shirou is a great deal like Avenger was before his village turned on him and senselessly ruined his life, and that's maybe why he pulls a Grand Theft Me on him.

So it's not so much that Avenger is actually a irredeemably fucking awful person at heart, as it is his prior sense of self as a kind, good-natured person who loved the world is thoroughly forgotten, hammered down, and destroyed by becoming what those who cursed him as a demon childishly wanted him to be; the source and embodiment of what evil truly lies deep in the darkness of humanity's heart. Serving as the basis for mankind's idea of evil leaves no room for warm emotions or even a flimsy sense of self-identity. That's the role he had accepted for himself. It's the role humanity's selfish desires forced him to be, yet he's demonstrated that he can be caring and concerned for people and their emotional well-being under certain conditions and be selfless and aspire to be a "hero of justice" in a certain sense of the word, although that could actually simply be a flaw caused by a certain protagonist's emotions. He too has the desire to "save others" though his definition of salvation is a tad different from that of a human's definition.

When he lived, he was a helpless sacrifice, forcibly made into the representation of what they childishly yearned for him to be, and yet it was by being loathed by everyone and by losing his very sense of self to absolve his village of any guilt in committing sins, a hero was born from the ravaged shell of Angra Mainyu.

Personality: Though a silent protagonist in the game, there is much to Link's personality that is learned through the interactions with fellow Skyloftians and characters awaiting in the world below. Not one for routine, Link is a bit of a layabout, as he is introduced at the beginning of the game as a constant over-sleeper. From Zelda's complaints, he is often late to appointments or tests, showing that he has a lack of concern to important matters. He's quite lazy, but has a knack for being quick to learn and skills seem to come naturally to him. This greats a great rivalry or dislike of him from his other classmates, who constantly bully or tease him. His relationship with Zelda is very close, and this also causes a bit of a rift with the other Knights in training (since every one wants the affection of the young girl). He is a kind hearted student, polite and courteous to all his instructors and his fellow knights, even the bossy and aggressive Groose. Even after Groose attempts a stunt in trying to knock him out of the Knight Academy's final test, which could have resulted in killing him. Link jumps to the aide of his hometown bully when the two of them become stranded in the world below Hyrule, showing that regardless of how he is treated he is quick to forgive. In fact, they even become a solid team, show casing Link's ability to ally with just about anyone if the need should arise.

His heart lacks darkness or evil, as is proof of his ability to stand on the sacred grounds of the numerous temples created by the Goddess Hylia. Evil cannot stand in these places of purity, yet Link can walk among them freely (as long as he gets through the treacherous dungeon before it, of course). Even with purity and courage on his side, Link begins the story of this game as a reluctant hero. The countless times he is confronted by the right hand of Demise, Ghirahim, Link is impetuous and quick to leap before thinking (and it costs him dearly during the confrontation at the Gate of Time). Due to self-doubt and partial insecurity from losing Zelda in an unexpected storm, Link carries a wealth of blame toward himself which does cause a great deal of conflict with him being able to seek and pursue after his childhood friend.

The chosen Hero of the Goddess is also a clumsy graduat, but he becomes a courageous and reliable hero. Through the many hardships and challenging trials, Link becomes a true savior after courageously facing down the Demon Lord Demise with little more than a hope and a prayer. He is seldom one to become angry or aggitated, and only seems to become so when Zelda is in danger. He isn't usually cool or calm when danger arises, but as is proven by the many battles he has had, he will do what it takes when the time is right.

As commented by his sword instructor, Link is a gifted swordsman with adaptabiility and skill, making him a knight of quick wit and ingenuity. Blessed with an intelligent mind for solving problems and puzzles (even if the puzzle solving is based upon the player playing the game), he is able to come across any trial or situation and walk away from it with only minor scratches and bruises. It is odd, though, that not even once during the course of the game do we see Link cry or distraught. After Zelda seals herself into an unbreakable seal, Link spends only a short time in wallowing over his loss before finding the resolve to move forward with his own strength. It shows a great deal of conviction and understanding, showing the player that even in the darkest of times that we must move forward for the greater good.

Maybe you didn’t notice, but I’m pretty good with a bow and arrow.

Personality: While Disciple is Nepeta’s ancestor and Meulin’s post-scratch self, there are several personality changes between her and the two of them.

The Disciple was born in an era where Alternia was far from peaceful and culling was highly practiced, so lowbloods had to know how to survive and fight with their own two hands. Thanks to that, The Disciple was wild and would do anything to be able to survive. She was strong, both physically and psychologically and didn’t own that many of feminine traits. Besides that, she was really independent and a huntress.

Thanks to that, she is rebel, has a little of a filthy mouth and can be called “sassy”. However, she, in fact, believes in such things such as revolution, equality and restoring peace, hence her devotion to Signless. She is a good listener and will easily write down what one says. She’s patient towards those close to her, and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She can show herself to be really smart and is able to think fast and brings good solutions when needed.

When first approached, especially by someone who is not her kind or is from a higher cast from the hemospectrum, she is really cautious and dubious, interrogating them to be sure they are people she can trust, and only then she seems to be calmer. And when she trusts someone or becomes their friend, she’s more playful and once in a while, actually kind. She loves to think about potential mates for people from the many quadrants and usually doodles them in a book.

Meanwhile, The Disciple is really loyal to her friends, and even when she’s able to protect herself and be extremely independent, she won’t tolerate any kind of harm or conflict one can try to pull out of them – and with that, you can be sure you’ll find one hussy cat, ready to leave you a scratch in your pretty face. However, the olive troll is also reckless and thinks most of the time with her head hot. She isn’t searching to bring any kind of violence, but when she loses her temper, she can really get a little blind with fury.

Of course, The Disciple does have a soft side too. She gets easily enthusiastic when people talk to her about romantic situations of any sorts and sometimes embarrassed according to the situation.

With that said, The Disciple is a character that knows how to take care of herself and others and is, most of all, a ~~strong and independent woman who needs no man~~ powerful female who is not, at all, letting others take over her life choices.

History: Being born in Alternia, a world ruled by violence and those with the higher blood color in the hemospectrum were the ones who would win over the lower cast, The Disciple didn’t have much choice than fight for herself and to survive, until she met The Signless and his group.

She was raised by her lusus until her teen years, but soon the creature would be slain and she had to live by her own. She lived in the wild for many sweeps, learning by heart the entire forest and always knowing the best places to hide, being hard to get caught by anyone. But soon, she would find The Signless’ group, rescuing them from getting captured and later joining the group, since she was in favor of finishing that era of war.

Her entrance in the team was crucial for the next sweeps – Besides accompanying them in their journal, she kept a record of all of The Signless’ lectures and teachings, also seemingly the one with the most interest on what he had to say. Soon she would fall in love with him, being that said love returned to her. It is said that their love transcended the standard quadrants in troll’s romance, which means they possibly felt something close to human love for each other.

However, peace wouldn’t last long, and after spreading The Signless’ words and plan a revolt, things wouldn’t work well and they would later get captured. The Dolorosa and The Psiioniic were both sold to slavery, while The Signless was tortured and later executed. The Disciple was spared from getting killed and ran off with his leggings.

Her last moments were passed on caves, writing his teachings on walls, completely alone like she used to. These writings, however, would end up influencing a new generation that would make a new revolution. This revolution ended up banishing all the adults from Alternia to space to help The Condense conquer new planets.

Strengths/Weaknesses: The Disciple is physically strong, since she is able have a good fight with creatures with the triple of her size and weight. She has good ears and memory and easily writes down what one says. In her weaknesses field, The Disciple gets carried away by her emotions easily and will most likely attack when mocked or teased to the point of losing her patience.

Abilities: Similar to felines, The Disciple has good ears and eyesight, having an improved nocturnal vision as well. She has a good sense of direction and is pretty strong. Besides that, she has a good memory and lives almost the double of the time humans do.

Relationships to Canon Characters:
- The Signless: Her lover and inspiration. She has a great admiration for him and is one of the few people who can actually witness a more relaxing and calm persona out of her.
- The Dolorosa: She somehow sees her as a mother, but also a great friend. She trusts her and loves to help her in any way possible. When she wants to talk about something that can only be talked with women or she doesn’t want to talk with Signless, she is the first one she goes to.
- The Psiioniic: Someone she can consider a “best friend”. She likes to tease him once in a while and is somewhat protective of him since she got touch by knowing he was working as a slave before joining the group.
- The Executer/Darkleer: The one who spared her life. She doesn’t feel grudge against him and feels like they could have become good friends if the circumstances were different, and is actually grateful he let her go.

Besides these, she’s Nepeta’s ancestor and Meulin’s post-scratch self.

Third Person:

While it would be not at all common for someone like Meulin to go out on a cold day, she had plans for that day that couldn’t stay post-pone no matter what. She wore the most comfortable and warm cloths she could find and set her way out in the snow. Thankfully, there wasn’t any blizzard, but the temperature was yet below to what she was used to.

Once she knew she wasn’t being followed, she started to walk fast, jumping around to the top of some buildings and following the marks she left across them to reach her destination. She hoped no one would find about it, but she had no idea that her watch was turned on at that moment and recording all her steps.

After some minutes, she finally reached a building and got inside. She got rid of her excess of clothing, making the watch fall from the pocket and pointing at what she was doing, and turned on the lights, staying in front of a wall covered with a huge black fabric. She grinned in content before grabbing the corner of the fabric and pulling it to reveal drawings of the many residents of the city in pairs.

“Purrfect”, she said, giggling while getting a piece of chalk and staring at the wall. “It’s time to update my shipping wall”.
