A note for CR AU applications
Ruby City does allow previous game history/CR to be brought over on a case by case basis. If you want to include this in your application please add additional sections for PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT and PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY beneath the Personality and Background/History sections.

In these additional sections we would like to see a brief outline of your character's previous game history and how it potentially impacted on and altered their canon personality.

Ruby Rose | RWBY | Reserved Pt. 2

[personal profile] ruby_roses 2013-12-08 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Personality:
Ruby is a very excitable young woman. When she gets interested in something, she tends to go overboard with her enthusiasm, as evidenced by her romanticizing of the Huntsmen and Huntresses that she practically idolizes. She approaches most everything with this same sense of enthusiasm, vowing to be the best she can be in all things. The one exception to this is when it comes to her studies. She likes to read, but only novels. Things like textbooks and history lessons bore her, and her mind tends to wander when bored, to the point that she will begin to doodle in class rather than taking notes. Of course, these doodles are given her full attention and enthusiasm as well.

In terms of social interaction, Ruby is very awkward. She often speaks before she thinks, and will tend to shy away from crowds. Despite her enthusiasm and drive to be the very best she can be, she also wants to be a normal girl. Something that has been made infinitely more difficult in the light of her acceptance into Beacon University two years ahead of her classmates. Her close bond to her sister, Yang, has been both a blessing and curse to her since coming to Beacon with her older sister. The two are very close and thus are very prone to watching each other's back and helping out whenever possible, however, Ruby does feel almost inadequate in comparison to Yang. She sees Yang as the ideal she has to live up to, and the position of "leader" on their team makes her feel even more awkward.

Above all, though, Ruby's defining trait is her sense of justice. She has a very strong sense of justice and honor. Almost to a fault. She tends to rush into a situation head-first and figure out details later, and is undaunted by odds. While admirable, this could easily land her in trouble if outnumbered or outmatched in terms of skill or ability. She joined Beacon University to pursue a career as a Huntress and keep people safe from the Creatures of Grimm that plague the land. At one point, she even said she chose to be a Huntress instead of a police officer because being a huntress was "way more cool." Her child-like innocence, coupled with a grim understanding of how her world is makes for a unique person within the academy.

Ruby Rose | RWBY | Reserved Pt. 3

[personal profile] ruby_roses 2013-12-08 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Abilities:
Crescent Rose- Ruby's weapon, Crescent Rose, is a High Velocity Sniper Scythe that was designed and built by Ruby herself. It can operate in two modes; a gun mode that fires high-powered rounds at enemies capable of carving out sizable chunks of flesh from an enemy, as well as its fully extended scythe mode. The recoil the gun generates is also an integral part of Ruby's fighting technique, and is often used to amplify the cutting power of her attacks as well as used to send her flying through the air. Ruby also keeps a special kind of ammunition for the gun; magazines marked with a black cross. These shots are vastly more powerful than her regular shots, generating a black muzzle-flare and enough recoil to send her flying fast enough that she appears to be a blur. However, it does not appear that these shots actually fire any bullets but are mainly used for the sole purpose of enhancing her melee capabilities.

Strength- Ruby possesses strength and stamina that is disproportionate for a girl of her size and age. She can handle her weapon easily with one hand, despite its weight, as well as weather the recoil that the gun generates.

Semblance; Speed- Ruby is capable of moving exceptionally fast for short periods of times to make it appear that she is teleporting. When she does this, it appears that she vanishes into a cloud of rose petals that are indeed physically there before dissolving into Dust. However, she cannot use this ability at will. It takes a significant amount of her stamina and can easily tire her out if she uses it many times in quick succession.

Fighting Prowess- Trained by her uncle Qrow, Ruby is an expert in using her scythe and has all but mastered the art of fighting. The headmaster of Beacon University - the top school for producing Huntsmen and Huntresses - even remarked that he only knew of one other person that could wield a scythe with her level of skill; Qrow.

Engineering- Ruby possesses an exceptional aptitude for the engineering and design of weapons, as evidenced by her construction of Crescent Rose.

First Person:
[When the video clicks on, Ruby can be seen looking into the camera with her eyes wide, a look of wonder and awe on her face. Once she realizes it's recording she quickly grins a little before speaking.]

Uh... My name is Ruby Rose. I'm a student at Beacon Academy in Vale. This is... really embarrassing but... I have no idea where I am, or even what country I'm in. I uh... must've gotten on the wrong train? S-so, if there are any Huntsmen or Huntresses listening, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand or do whatever is necessary in order to get back to Vale.

[She chews on her lip a bit as she looks around.] ...Yang is gonna kill me.

Third Person:
Ruby busied herself with exploring this new city while at the same time periodically trying to get in contact with the rest of her team through the watches. "Come to think of it... where did this watch come from?" she mused as she walked. Eventually, she found herself in the park. Reminding her of the Emerald Forest just outside of Beacon, she decided to explore. When the beasts that lived there began to gather, she finally felt almost at home. Very calmly, she closed the watch and tucked it inside her cloak, one hand going to the collapsed Crescent Rose on her hip. As predicted, one of the beasts lunged, but only struck a cloud of rose petals. Ruby, who had shot herself high into the air, took a moment to breathe deep, Crescent Rose extending into its gun form as she hung in the air. She took aim, and pulled the trigger, sending a bullet through the first beast's head. Good, clean kill, she thought, relieved to see that these creatures seemed to be on par with the Beowolves back home.

As soon as she landed, the beasts converged on her. Her arms and legs moved almost automatically, as if she was simply performing an elaborate dance she had rehearsed many times before. The sight itself was a fairly grizzly one. Each flash of steel sent a limb flying, or a torso flopping to the ground. Oddly enough, though, no blood was spilled. Instead, any blood appeared to turn into rose petals, floating into the air before vanishing. Once it was done, the group of beasts lay dead, their bodies scattered and dismembered with a ruthless precision, mixed with the casings of the shots she fired to keep her onslaught at its top speed. Ruby stood silent and motionless for a long moment, taking another deep breath before collapsing her weapon and replacing it at her side. Normally, she'd have enjoyed a fight like that, but something was bugging her.

She pulls out the watch again, poking a few buttons and activating a video feed. Finding the nearest head of the thing that had attacked her, she focused the camera on it. "These creatures... they're not Grimm. They look sorta like them, and act like them but... they're not Creatures of Grimm, are they?" She turns the camera back to herself, a brief glimpse of the carnage shown before settling back on her face. "I know I'm a Huntress in training but... I was trained to fight Grimm not... these things. What are they? I need to know as much about them as I can before I can come back to the park. I don't want to be forced to slaughter these things if they aren't the mindless beasts I thought they were. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

CHARACTER
Name: Earl Cain Hargreaves
Canon: Godchild
Age: 17
Timeline: After his death at the end of the series.

Earl Cain Hargreaves | Godchild | Reserved

[personal profile] potentpoisons 2013-12-09 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Personality:

While Cain, on the surface, seems like the perfect English Gentleman, he is very much the "black sheep" of the Victorian society. His interest in poisons as well as his ability to solve various crimes sets him apart from the polite citizens. Yet he doesn't care one bit what others think of him - particularly if they oppose him without getting to know him in the first place. There are very few that can get through to Cain or stop him (only temporarily at that) from doing what he wants to do.

Yet, while he can be quite temperamental or even volatile at times, he does care about the feelings of others. Underneath his whimsical facade of not caring about anyone but himself, he actually possesses a kind heart that has been hurt often in the past. If he feels a connection to another, that person will see a new side to the Earl - one that is kind hearted and desperate to protect those who ally themselves with him.

Thanks to finally confronting Alexis and ending a - quite literally - life long feud, Cain is stronger than he used to be. While he will miss Riff and Mary and Uncle Neil - as well as various others, he will finally be able to stand on his own two feet and start a new life. Perhaps in this one he won't be as much of a black sheep? Maybe he will even be able to have normalcy?

Only time will tell.

How Cain Will Adapt to RC: Cain didn't have the best upbringing by any stretch of the imagination. He was abused physically and mentally by his father, Alexis, and that took a toll on him in the form of nightmares and an intense fear of his father (at least until he finally confronted Alexis and poisoned him properly). He faced his death with no regrets, in the decaying arms of his ever-loyal servant, Riff.

He was certain he would travel into the afterlife with his servant; he was certain he could finally have some peace. However, once he finds out that has been denied him, he will be angry. Without Riff and without Mary, Cain will only have himself to rely on - physically and emotionally. But he is a strong young man. He knows how to change himself - both inside and outside - to better fit in his environment. Until he can accept his new existence, he will rely on his craftiness.

Background: This covers his story pretty well.

Abilities: ~ He has an extensive knowledge of poisons and how to use them (dosages etc.).

~ He is an excellent shot with his pistol.

~ He is damn crafty when it comes to reading other people and tricking them into their own traps.

~ He is very charming (particularly with the opposite sex).

~ And he has all the knowledge one would expect from a Victorian Earl (i.e. he is well-spoken, polite (for the most part), well-read and he can speak multiple languages).

~ On a vaguer note, Cain also has a connection to spirits. He is easily possessed by them.

Earl Cain Hargreaves | Godchild | Reserved

[personal profile] potentpoisons 2013-12-09 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
First Person: (The strikingly beautiful face of a teenage boy appears on the feed. His expression is strained - almost pained. He has strange eyes - a mixture of green and gold - and they are quite expressive. This is a boy who can't hide behind a mask for long.)

Is this what all humans dream about when they are on the verge of death? A train ride and a ruby city? Heaven has long since closed its gates to me, but this place doesn't even qualify as a proper Hell.

Shall I introduce myself, then? (He looks behind him, almost as if he expects to see someone in his wake. But there is no one.) I am - or, rather, was - the Earl of the Hargreaves family. My name is Cain.

("A good name." Alexis's words will stay with him always.)

Since I cannot board the train again, I fear I will need a place of lodging. I am not carrying much in the way of funds on my person. I did not expect my journey to be so...ordinary.

And I suppose it is a lost cause to ask if one named Riff or Riffael has arrived prior to me? (He wonders if Riff was able to go to Heaven.) He is...

(My servant, my friend...)

Important to me.

Third Person: His last thoughts were peaceful. Riff's arms - what was left of them - were wrapped around him as the rubble rained down upon them. There was a sharp impact on his skull - likely fracturing it - and Cain knew no more. When he awoke, he was on a train and there was no sign of his one true companion.

"Riff?" he sat up straighter and looked down the aisle, wondering if his servant was getting them something to eat or drink. Were such things necessary in Hell?

Rising up and grabbing the back of the seat, the young Earl searched one compartment...then another...and then another. There was no sign of Riff.

We did not travel together? A sinking feeling of dread filled him and he sat down heavily. He went elsewhere. Of course he did. It made sense in a way. His servant had been reborn; he had become a good man. Good men didn't go to Hell - they went to Heaven.

A single tear rolled down his cheek and Cain wiped it away in aggravation. These things were out of their hands. He should be happy for Riff.

He should be. Yet he couldn't help but wonder what awaited him. What would he have to face alone?

[personal profile] aeviternity 2013-12-10 10:54 am (UTC)(link)
Personality:

"I don't think I've ever seen a kid as cool as you, Kenny."

-Jimbo Kern

Foul mouthed, immature, perverted, optimistic, and open minded are all simple ways of describing Kenny McCormick but then- we're up to 17 seasons now and a lot's happened. He's gone a long way from that death gag character no one could understand. Infact, all those high pitched words mumbled from behind a parka hood have always been that- words, it was just hard to hear what he was saying.

Well- most of the time it's dirty/perverted, but that's just what type of kid he is. He's that kid in any group of friends that isn't afraid of making a well timed vagina joke, or comment about a woman's rocking rack, and at the same time knows enough about the subject that he can answer when his friend asks him about what a dildo is. Kenny's got a weakness for ladies as can be seen in many situations throughout the series. At one point he takes away from a rather thoughtful letter he writes to his friends just to mention a woman with amazing boobs on a beach nearby where he's visiting with his friend Butters (Season 16- Episode 11: Going Native). The letter really was thoughtful, Kenny's inner monologue is rather... distinguished:

"My dearest friends,

I am living amongst the natives in the remote and tiny island of Hawaii. What can I tell you of this mysterious island and it's people. It is a place of wonder, and yet to the outsider like me, a place of- odd tradition. The people here are peaceful and joyous, and seem to care little for the rush and worry of the outside world.

Their diet it mostly an odd mixture of coconut milk, pineapple juice, and vodka, which they call the 'chichi'.

As for Butters, he is quickly learning the ways of his ancestors, and seems to be feeling better with every passing day. He still seems quite angry at times but luckily his ceremony will finally take place on the 'morrow.

To wit I have found nothing wrong with this remote place, and I must admit it will be with some melancholy that I will leave this island and return home.

I saw this chick in a bikini on the beach too, she had the nicest boobs ever.

Humbly yours,
Kenneth."

To which his friend Stan has to say, "'On the 'morrow,' what the fuck is wrong with Kenny?" Showing that this more intelligent side of Kenny is something that doesn't show through except for in certain instances. Here- in his letter, and another example is in his character 'Mysterion'- Mysterion being a different persona Kenny plays as with his friends when they pretend to be super heroes. In the episodes The Coon, Coon 2: Hindsight, Mysterion Rises, Coon vs. Coon & Friends and The Poor Kid, Mysterion, or rather Kenny, shows a much more calculating, justice enforcing side, with a strong sense of loyalty and herosim. Kenny even shows a more deep weakness he has, his problem with his ability of immortality. He goes as far to shoot himself in the head to make a point to his friends that they won't actually remember when he revives the next day. (Whenever Kenny dies, he revives the next day and for the most part, no one ever remembers he had died at all, as if it never happened. In some cases he does not revive right away which is usually for comedy's sake on the show's creators part.) Though this anger at his ability is shown through his playing of Mysterion, he still shows an amazing sense of heroism. Sometimes it shows through without a mask, like in the episode 'A Nightmare on the Face of Time', where he tells his friends how to ambush a group of vigilantes.

The difficulty with death is something Kenny seems to always have. Early in the series, before they had planned out much character development wise, Kenny's character was used a lot for humourous death situations. But since then it's become more and more a part of his character. He always shows aversion to death and even can be extra cautious sometimes when a situation seems fatal. But he usually goes along with it because that's just his style. Kenny's always been that friend to eat bugs for a dollar, or cut open a manatee with a scalpel in class dissection for five bucks (he'll pretty much do anything for money). But still he has morals. Kenny likes his friends and follows them and plays with them. Just like one can depends on Kyle for finding the moral after an adventure, or depend on Cartman to get offended at something ridiculous, one can depend on Kenny for being there for his friends. In the episodes 'Jewbilee' and 'Going Native' Kenny joins Kyle and Butters respectively during two different trips, despite having nothing to do with where either trip is going or it's purpose. He's just a loyal friend. He shows loyalty to his family as well, in the episode 'The Poor Kid', Kenny saves his sister from a bully and tells her he'll always be there for her.

-Still, he's not afraid to coax a girl to Red Robin after hearing she gave a guy a blow job once for bringing her there (Season 13- Episode 1: The Ring- in that case he dies from getting a STI from her at the end of the episode, revives in the the next though). Kenny's got sex on the mind a lot of the time, he even is shown to have very provocative posters in his bedroom. Though- he doesn't seem to disrespect women purposely like Cartman, and even takes on a female character when they all play 'Game of Thrones' together, playing the role of Lady McCormick, and later becoming Princess Kenny (Season 17- Episodes 7-9). Kenny takes his characters and costumes very very seriously, and seems to really enjoy being someone other than himself. This might be because of his difficult family life with neglectful, abusive, drug addict parents who are extremely poverty stricken... That might have something to do with it.

He seems to be pretty used to it though and deals as he can, knowing he himself can't really change it. So as Mysterion, he manages to scare his parents into caring about their kids more, giving them an allowance, doing drugs less, etc. He does care, he just plays out his feelings through characters. As himself, he shows to be optimistic, tolerant, and playful. Despite being so optimistic, he does seem to just- want to stay dead some of the time. Dying is painful for him every time it happens, and after you die over 50 times well- you get tired of it. Kenny doesn't seem to be a depressed person, but you can only take so much of death.

While he seems to have morals as far as his friends and family is concerned- he still doesn't seem to turn anything down when there's money involved. Cartman uses this a lot against him, things like tossing a dollar bill on the ground to get the shot gun seat in a car away from Kenny. Kenny even ends up giving Howard Stern a hummer for a really small amount of money in the episode 'Fat Camp'. Hm- well I shouldn't really say morals, maybe more- dignity- he tends to lack dignity in a lot of instances, at one point he dies from strangling himself while masturbating when he's told it'll give him an amazing orgasm, and another time spends a good amount of his life getting addicted to a drug that gives him amazing hallucinations. So yeah uh- dignity is a little low, especially when money's involved, or he's getting something sexual or an ultra good high out of it.

His tendency to do anything for money comes from the rather large lack of money in his life. Kenny is usually shown drinking water when the rest of the kids have soda, brings a meager bag lunch to school, and his house is torn apart and rat infested. This still doesn't seem to get him down, but he doesn't turn down a stray dollar or two when he's bet it, showing that he can be rather open minded with the right incentive. A lot of his money he seems to save though, for tickets for a date with a girl, certain toys/games he really wants, intense costumes for roleplaying games with his friends, and even condoms- how very responsible of him. Though the fact that he saves his money shows that he does realize the worth of it and understands the importance of patience.

Over all he really is just a kid, tends to be one of the smarter kids in the show, as well as being a lot more mature than all his sexual jokes and innuendos imply. He can't die, has a hard family life, and makes a lot of poor decisions, but through and through he's just a care free kid wanting the best in life for himself, his family, and his friends.

[CANON] Kenny McCormick || South Park || Reserve || Abilities

[personal profile] aeviternity 2013-12-10 10:58 am (UTC)(link)
Abilities: Kenny can speak Japanese, Romanian, and a small bit of Spanish, knows a good amount about ladies and sex which is totally an ability for a kid of 10, is rather nimble and appears to know parkour to some degree (as seen when he plays as Mysterion), can do origami, knows how to use a wide range of weaponry, including shotguns, sniper rifles, grenades, throwing stars, spears, and small single handed guns, and being really super cute to the point of being able to manipulate people- but only when he's playing as his character Princess Kenny (Anime Princess Kenny after he's given a magical anime pendant in the episode A Song of Ass and Fire). Also while wearing this pendant, it's shown to instantly revive him after dying while he's using it as Princess Kenny. So I suppose after his Magical girl transformation.

Kenny also has a more mystical ability- the one where he can't die. And not only can't die, but a majority of the time when he does, no one remembers him ever dying at all the next day.

There are some issues with this ability that come down to the creators not having flushed out this much of his character yet in the earlier seasons, but it's been expanded upon in recent seasons.

How this ability works is no matter when he dies, he will always be reborn again by his mother. The baby will grow to whatever age Kenny was when he died in the span of a single night. It hasn't been explained exactly how this works yet, except for that his mother and father at some point went to a Lovecraft based cult, and it's believed that ever since then this has been happening to their son, Kenny. He still feels pain from dying, but seems to have a higher tolerance to it from it- well, happening so much. As said earlier, he doesn't even flinch when he himself goes to shoot himself to prove a point in an episode where he plays as his hero persona, Mysterion.

In this game, how this ability will work will be a bit odd and annoying for Kenny, but hopefully it'll be aight- Every time he dies he'll be reborn in his own world from his mother like usual, but he'll keep being pulled back into Ruby City- as if he's linked to the game. This means he'll have to take the train in every time he dies, he'll be quite familiar with it. I plan on playing out his deaths as they do in canon, most of the time they'll be for humours sake, but sometimes they'll be more dramatic. Him dying is a rather important part of his character though, so whatever I can to do make this go as smooth as possible. But man, if I want him to die from eating too many antacid tablets and then drinking water after and exploding because it's friggen ridiculous? I'd love to do it. Third Person:

The familiar computerized 'ding dong' of the store door opens and immediately there's a smell of new plastic and mint- cleaning supplies. It's actually kind of nice, how clean this place is, well- how clean everywhere seems to be but home, then again just not being home's nice in general. Still the store can be cool, and that's not even because he has money this time-

okay no it's totally because he has money this time. Tch, too poor his butt, he can keep track of dough when he needs to, and this time he's saved enough. Man, this is gonna be so cool, finally...

That smell of mint continues to penetrate his nostrils as his winter boots squeak on the tiled floor. Hardware, snacks, books, soft drinks, no no no no- he just wants the cashier, most of the time- he only wants the cashier- and that familiar mustachio'd face is a great sight.

There a smile behind the lifted collar of his parka hood and Kenny quickly makes a bee line for the counter- excited, of course he is. He can feel his heart racing a bit faster, his palms sweating from clammy skin under his worn brown gloves. Counter top, sweet most awesome of places with your hidden wonders behind your standing guardian and his keyed and blinking treasure box. Kenny's hand curls around the piece of paper in his pocket, making sure it's there before he smacks it on the counter top and smooths it out. Expectant blue eyes looking up from the small view of his tightened hood to the man standing before him behind his low wall.

"Well what can I do ya for, kiddo?" As jolly as ever I see, Kenny thinks, still grinning behind his raised collar hood. But he responds quickly, his voice high and muffled behind the orange cloth.

"Nnmm mmrm mmnmfmm!" Said happily and the shop keeper's expression darkens, brows furrowed. But he can't be giving that stuff to a kid! He's about to tell Kenny the bad news when he looks down at his counter top at the paper Kenny had left. It appears to be rather worn money and- a note. His hand pulls the note aside, unfolds it, and his ruddy lips peel back into a smile that almost matches Kenny's own.

"Wellll- I suppose if it's for the dad!" Puts the paper down and turns around. Kenny's hands push into his pockets quickly, still feeling excitement zap up and down his spine as he watches the shop keeper do as he always does when Kenny brings yet another 'note from his parents'.

A shuffle of paper, a few taps to the register, some exchanging of money, and the shopkeep hands him the flat, paper bag with the top folded down.

"Now don't go openin' this, all right? Bring it right home!" Said with a jovial chuckle and Kenny takes it and his change, nodding with a simple, "Mhm!" And turns around.

Her rack is amazing, amazing like the chrome stallion she's sitting upon under the bright red word 'HUSTLER'. His toes curl, and he squirms in place a little, a triumphant jig as he stops in an alley near the store to take a peek at his most fantastic of new reading material.

Personality:
More than anything Peter is extremely carefree. He's pretty much always got his head in the clouds. Since he lives in Heaven which is made of clouds in SYM's universe that's pretty literal, but. He's definitely a free spirit and very cheerful. He likes to go drinking on Earth, often chatting it up with the salarymen and goofing around with them. Letting loose and having fun, and joking around are everything Peter wants to be a part of, he also has a high alcohol tolerance. Often he comes across as rather childish, doing things like dancing around Moses as he bugs him. Other times his jokes can get rather offensive. Various forms of teasing, sometimes sexual jokes, flirting with or making mildly suggestive comments about pretty women - notably commenting on St. Mary's beauty with Andrew in front of Jesus. Peter doesn't mean any harm by it, and he doesn't really say anything bad, mean or crude, but the simple fact that he takes his jokes in that direct can be more than enough for some people. He also doesn't seem to be very bright. Jesus brings him a finger trap as a souvenir and initially it scares him because he can't get it unstuck.

He's interested and amazed by simple modern inventions and the like, the finger trap being a good example. Not only does Peter seem to think it's the greatest thing ever, he spends a long time playing with it and trying to figure out its secret. Modern things are his lifeblood. He loves manga, video games and general popculture - he even has a Twitter account. In an MMORPG, Daemon Hunter Online, he has a high level knight class character...and spends his time looking for rare mushrooms. He loves horror and has a wealth of knowledge of scary stories, although slasher films terrify him because they're just too brutal. Friday the 13th in particular is something he can't take. Even while he's working Heaven's reception desk, he's usually reading Shounen Jump (One Piece is his favourite). Which also happens to showcase his laziness. Granted, he doesn't have much to do but sit there 90% of the time, but even so, it's not exactly the professional thing to do. When Jesus stumbles across Peter and Andrew sitting at the desk discussing One Piece, he pretty much can't believe what he's seeing. The leader of the apostles not taking his job seriously in the least.

At one point he comments that he and his younger brother, Andrew, were reckless before becoming Jesus' followers. He says he's grateful to the teacher who changed them from their former no-good selves. He thinks school teachers could learn a lot from his way of doing things and wishes everyone could experience such transformation. Despite his usual sillyness, when it comes down to it, Peter is surprisingly wellspoken. His rare cases of seriousness serve to remind everyone exactly why he's the leader of the apostles, first Pope, and keeper of Heaven's gate. In a way, it's exactly because he can be both happy-go-lucky and serious that he's the right one for the job. While most of the others have fairly obvious failings, such as John having a hot temper, Judas lacking any selfconfidence or Jacob never speaking up, Peter actually has very good leadership skills. He can inspire people with insightful speeches and relate to them on a personal level by being funny and approachable. He's understanding, rarely upset, and easily comes up with solutions to problems.

Peter and Andrew are practically inseparable. They've always lived and worked together, have practically the same personality and interests, it's almost as if they're the same mind. He loves his brother and takes pride in his accomplishments almost as if they were his own. His friends are extremely important to him and Peter would do anything for Andrew and Jesus in particular. Although more so in the past, he is unfortunately, and generally understandably, frightened of dangerous situations. His denial of Christ was due to being afraid he would be persecuted as well if he admitted to being his follower. And that is something he regrets. Although because of his easygoing nature, he's moved passed it by now and knows it was wrong, but won't beat himself up over it. Similarly, he's easily forgiven Judas and often sticks up for him. He and Andrew are something like caretakers to Judas and tend to keep an eye on him out of concern for his wellbeing.

Background: Canon and Biblical Peter

Abilities: He is a gr8 fisherman and not so bad at farm work and carpentry. He's also capable of using a sword and likely a bow and arrow. He would likely be able to perform some minor miracles and as other saints have been shown to do, if he does something particularly virtuous his halo would become apparent, which would appear as his head glowing. He's also a surprisingly good leader.

Mostly he's really good at video games and drinking.

First Person: so my phone's not working and i'm pretty lost here. i guess it's too much to hope for an internet cafe or something around, huh? i'm a little worried about my brother though, has anyone seen a guy about six feet, short scruffy beard, hair in his eyes? he's probably wearing a brown sweater. or if you've met someone named andrew.

maybe it helps to introduce myself too lol. hey i'm peter nice to meet you guys m(__)m

michael, john, jacob, gabriel, thomas, any of you other guys, if someone's around, tell me. if you are you know who i'm really wondering about. it's important.

ah crap, also who knows where i can get a coat it's pretty freaking cold lol

Third Person: Peter rolled around on the floor of his apartment. He grumbled, and kicked his feet.

"Sssssoooo boreeeddd." He rolled onto his stomach, sighing.

It was like going right back to the dark ages, and he had already experienced that, how could he survive it again?! Why didn't this city have internet. Why didn't it have movies. Or manga. ...Wait. Did it have manga? He remembered seeing a library. Why hadn't he gone to look yet? Maybe it had some. There's no way it would carry the newest issues of Jump or Gangan or anything, but maybe it would at least have some old Dragonball? Even Doraemon or Astroboy or anything. As long as he had something to occupy himself with!

It seemed wrong to be so concerned with petty things like manga when he didn't know where Andrew, Jesus or Judas were. Although he assumed they were perfectly safe at home, and if Andrew was, then Judas would be fine with just one of them. Even if Andrew wasn't, Jacob the greater would probably take over. As for Jesus, he had Buddha and the archangels as well. Besides, there wasn't much he could do about it. Even if they were in trouble, his worrying about it wouldn't change anything, when he couldn't leave the city. Really all he could do was occupy himself. Making the most of things was pretty much his specialty anyway.

Still, why did it have to be somewhere so incredibly boring. Was this what Hell was like? He suddenly felt really bad for everyone trapped there. Maybe he should have let them into Heaven, if this was the sort of cruel and unjust punishment they received. He couldn't think of a single sin bad enough to warrant such pain. First thing on the agenda when he got home was definitely going to be asking Judas about that. And probably asking Uriel to redeem a few souls.

He paused, humming to himself. Or maybe he could just go check out the library. That would work too.
