Um... This is somewhat of a... strange and unfortunate situation... [The voice that comes out is soft, feminine, and hesitant. Akito doesn't hold out much hope, but he has to ask anyway.]
I'm looking for my friends... They were with me before I arrived... here, so there's a chance they might have been brought here too. Their names are Minami Ikki, Mikura Kazu, Buccha, Onigiri, Udou Akira... Ah, and Wanijima Kaito too, I guess.
If any of you can hear this, this is Akito! My injuries are all healed, so there's no need to worry, if you were... I hope you're all safe, too!
[...He just wants to go home. Or wake up. Waking up would be really, really nice. Maybe everything has just been a really, really long dream.]
If anyone happens to run into any of them, if you could tell them that Akito is looking for them -- Ikki, especially! -- I would really appreciate it.

Agito:
This is one fucked up dream.
[ swings the communicator around. ]
Tch. Like something out of an indie game, but a fuckload less fun.

Oi, magic communication watch thing. Get a tech upgrade, you piece of shit.
Third Person:
Akito doesn't expect to wake up in a train. He never expected to wake up at all.
But he does, and the rush of panic and confusion is quickly overwhelmed by a sense of relief so strong that he cries.
'...Agito?'
When for weeks there had been only silence in reply, today he gets a groggy '...Akito?'
And that's all it takes for him to lunge forward in their mind, pulling Agito in close for what would have been a bone-crushing hug if they had physical bodies. Akito feels a ghostly rush of warmth around him in his seat as Agito returns the hug, slowly realizing what had happened.
Akito doesn't need to explain anything, and Agito doesn't need to ask. They continue clinging to each other as if terrified they would be ripped apart again, though as the train ride continues they begin to slowly relax.
'Do you think this goes to our 'afterlife'?' He isn't entirely sure anymore that they did die at home, but he doesn't exclude the possibility. This situation seems like what someone could expect after dying, after all.
'No.' It's easier now for Agito to refuse the idea that they could be dead - that he could have failed Akito so horribly. 'We're still alive.'
Akito's tail twitches as Agito takes over control of it; getting a feel for the changes that were made to their body. It's comforting to him. 'Then maybe this is just a Road closer to home.'

He can feel Agito smile just a little. 'Yeah.'
