[Canon] Enoch || El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron || No Reserve

CHARACTER
Name: Enoch
Canon: El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron
Timeline: After the end of the game
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:

In life, Enoch pleased God well enough that he was taken to Heaven before experiencing a mortal death. Serving as a scribe on the Council of Elders, he was chosen for his pure, strong heart and descended to Earth in pursuit of the Grigori, a group of fallen angels, as an arbiter to prevent a plan to flood the Earth from going forward.

He is a kind and caring man appearing far younger than he is, with a strong faith in life, himself, and others. His bravery and selflessness is demonstrated during Chapter Seven of El Shaddai, when he dives into The Darkness in an attempt to save Nanna, a little girl who had been following him. He is generous, sincere in his words and deeds and unfalteringly loyal, even to a fault. Despite all of this, however, Enoch carries a great deal of conflict in his heart, shown when he is recovering from the vileness which had infected his body after his descent into The Darkness and subsequent rescue by the fallen angel Armaros. Only through reliving his past battles did he once more reconcile with his purpose and his Mission, returning to Earth again in order to complete it.

Confident, bold and courageous, Enoch is adept at taking orders but also (much to Lucifel’s constant despair) possesses a reckless streak and a tendency to occasionally simply not do as he is told. This self-direction inevitably leads him into trouble, as he will, without even pausing to think on it, risk his life for an innocent and run fearlessly into battle despite overwhelming odds. Stubborn and strong-willed, Enoch does not know the meaning of the word ‘quit’, and will continue to press onwards towards his goals even when it doesn’t seem possible to reach them.

Being from a different time, and then spending many years in Heaven, there are many things about the modern world that he is unaware of. However, he is a very quick study – shown by his taking a very short time to learn how to ride a motorcycle during Chapter Six (to the point where he could deftly fight while riding it and retain his balance while skidding beneath enemies and obstacles).

A pious, righteous man, he is patient, and not easily driven to anger, but woe betide anyone who pushes him far enough to have it directed upon them.
