CHARACTER
Name: Elizabeth Midford
Canon: Black Butler
Age: 13
Timeline: Shortly after Chapter 14: That Butler, Hunting
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: n/a

Personality: Lizzy seems, at the surface, to be what you would think of, when picturing a noble girl of her age. She acts spoiled, insisting the world around her fit to her specifications--This usually means that everything around her is to be 'cute', from people, to the setting around her. Refusing her threatens a temper tantrum, such as when Ciel refused to wear her ring, and she has a tendency to bulldoze over people in order to get her way.

She is not, however, heartless. When she goes overboard (which she does, often), she'll immediately repent, and apologize for her behavior. She has a good heart, being friendly with Ciel's staff, and her own servants. She cares greatly for Ciel, and spends much of her time trying to make him smile, and generally make him comfortable around her, such as when she asked for a new pair of heeled shoes to be traded for flats, as she knew that Ciel was sensitive about his own height.

In truth, her naivity and innocence is in large part an act. She was told by Madame Red, Ciel's aunt, that men wanted a helpless woman, not one that was smart, or handy with swords, like Elizabeth is. This was only further imprinted when Ciel confided in her that he thought that strong women were scary, and that he was glad that he was marrying her, instead of someone like her mother. Lizzy, always eager to please Ciel, took it to heart, and endeavored to become someone that he could protect.

However, her mother was not hearing any of it, and did not want to discontinue her lessons. The argument was interrupted by Ciel's apparent death, which Lizzy took incredibly hard. When he came back, and Lizzy realized that he was shorter than her, she pledged that she would protect him instead. Thus, her sword lessons have continued. She worries over him, and how he never seems to smile much anymore.

Not all of it is a facade, though. Lizzy truly does love to be surrounded by adorable things, and if possessing the ability, will make all around her fit her specifications. She is also still innocent and naive, though not as much as she acts. She is generally unaware of the situations the Ciel gets into, and has no knowledge of what unusual and unwordly kinds of things goes on in his life. She knows that Sebastian is hyper-competent, but how he has these skills is a mystery to her. She's aware, something is odd, and something changed in Ciel since he returned from his apparent death, but her trust in Ciel is total, and whatever he doesn't tell her, she trusts is for the best.

Background: Her wiki page

Abilities: Lizzy is a skilled swordswoman, her older brother commenting that she is even superior to him. She managed to kill multiple bizarre dolls, once she used her swordplay, and proved that she has no small amount of bravery, when she attempted to fight Grell as well. Sebastian stopped Lizzy from attacking her, however, probably for the best.

Network/Actionspam Sample:
[She has clearly been preparing for this video, and as she sets the watch down and settles into her chair, she's framed by beautiful floral decor, her dress and hair as perfect as ever. She can't quite make it look like a painting, like what she's more used to, but she'll make do with what she has. She gives her most dazzling smile to the watch, and speaks.]

Everyone! I have excellent news! Spring is finally here!

[She reaches past the camera, and pulls some flowers that had been recently plucked, burying her face in them.]

Aaah, look at all these colors! Isn't it so much better than that dull grey of winter? Everything is going to turn cute again...! And to celebrate nature being cute again, there's only one thing to do!

[She tosses the flowers up in the air, and grins at the camera as the colorful flowers rain back down, petals drifting after them.]

A ball, of course! A dancing party, and everyone is allowed! But they have to dress as cute as possible, lots of colors, lots of bows, and lots of frills and lace! Nothing boring is allowed!

[Ciel had, naturally, not been told at all. Surprise.]

Prose Log Sample:

Elizabeth's first impression of Ruby City was less than dazzling, to say the least. It was mostly the rain's fault, hammering down relentlessly, while she was still trying to collect her bearings from that odd train ride. A fortuitous awning under a shop (closed, for the day or permanently, she couldn't tell) provided a temporary shelter, as she tried to sort out just what had happened to her. She had gone to bed, in a perfectly ordinary manner, only to wake up upon that train, unceremoniously deposited out into the city. With no parents, no sibling, no maid in sight, she was in a position that she had never been in before. Alone, scared and confused, she fidgeted with her gloves as she watched the rain pour.

She could have been kidnapped, but it was a lousy job, if she did say so herself. Not that she would blame someone for wanting to. Not only was she the sole daughter to the Leader of the British Knights, but the fiancee to the Earl of Phantomhive--Ciel! Oh, she hadn't even thought of Ciel, how could she forget him? If there was anyone who could puzzle this out and rescue her, it would be him, the Queen's watchdog. And they would be searching for her, naturally. Yes, with her parents, Ciel, and Ciel's butler on the case, surely it wouldn't be long at all.

The words cheered her, somewhat, and she straightened up, feeling resolved. Until they found her, she would look out for herself, in this strange, soggy city. She stepped forward--Then, remembered the rain. Stepping out in it would ruin her hair, ruin her dress, and with Ciel no doubt coming for her...There was no way that she could allow herself to turn as soggy as the city. Drenched hair, mussed dress...She shivered, and shook her head. No, she couldn't let him see her like that.

"...Once the rain stops. Then I'll leave and figure this out!" She declared to the rain, hands clenched in determination. Seeing if more stores were open would be the best idea, trying to see where she was, if a message could be sent to London. If this was a haphazard kidnapping, it would be easy to get everything straightened out easily enough. No doubt this city had a noble looking over it, and they would want to stay on good terms with both her own family, and the one she would marry into. Doubtlessly, they'd house her, until Ciel could launch the daring rescue--That is, picking her up from wherever this was. She'd make sure to let him think it was a daring rescue, though.

This plan decided, and concluded to be solid, she leaned against the glass of the store, watching the rain, and feeling a little more optimistic.
