[CANON] Tony Stark ll Marvel ll Not reserved ll 3/3

First Person: [The screen flickers to life, the focus is a little fuzzy as he adjusts it to a more suitable length. The man on screen is an older sort of gentleman, fitted with an arrogant smirk and expensive sunglasses. He clears his throat before gesturing, with his free hand, at the train station behind him.]

This? This is cute. No, really... I am genuinely tickled right now.

[And he chuckles before he eases himself on a bench, looking around with a hint of amusement.]

Honestly, this is the most clever kidnapping attempt I have ever been privvy to. And by train? Now that's just classy. It has that sort of... [Free hand gesturing as he tries to pontificate properly.] old-timey feel, you know? Now I'm going to be painfully disappointed if my kidnapper doesn't have a curled moustache and a distinctive cackle. I'm serious here, the accused? Get on that.

[He's shifting a little again, eyes behind the shades, back on the lens.]

Clever too. Seperating me from the suit? Smart. I make it a point to reward intelligence. Except you've made one very, very grave mistake.

[Zooming in so it focuses more on his face, and there is a rare moment of seriousness.]

You forgot who you're messing with. [Pointing to himself, and the smirk is back.]

I'm Tony Stark. You left me sober and with my hands free, chances are that in... oh, maybe a day? I'll have a suit.

And you, well. You'll just find out, won't you.

[And then the feed cuts out.]

Third Person: He could have went on, of course, about the mistake of handing him a piece of tech, but he decided the not-so-subtle threat would be more than enough for now. Tony turns the device in his hand, having pushed his sunglasses back: it had his full attention right now. It wasn't as sophisticated as say... his own Stark tech, of course, but it was intriguing him nonetheless. It was both like and unlike something he's seen before, and he was going to have a little fun taking it apart, maybe giving it some upgrades. Depending if he can get his hands on any materials... but hey, that shouldn't be a problem for Tony Stark, he knows how to work with very little and the most primitive and basic of materials.

Finally pocketing the device as he stands, calm hands smoothing down the far too expensive suit. If he was worried in the least, he wasn't showing it. Why should he worry? As previously stated: he is Tony Stark. Why should he worry? He has his cellphone in his pocket, and the memory chip inside had backups of all his AI in it, as a just in case scenario, all he needed was to make a backup of his backup before he started tinkering with anything. The only real loss was his Iron Man suit, that, he can admit to himself, left him feeling a little naked. But he can rebuild, make something to have on hand before he really starts making a name for himself here. The location was nothing he knew, and he travelled to many exotic and little known locations, although to be fair... he was intoxicated for most of those trips.

Speaking of intoxication: he needed to find the local liqour shop, stat. That would be something familiar, at least, a nice healthy buzz to move him along the streets. Maybe he would meet the locals, do some mingling and all that fun stuff before getting down to business. He gives a side glance to the train that brought him here and he frowns. Or... maybe not. He had this... gut feeling that something was slightly off in this situation and maybe he should get to work sooner than later. He didn't like this feeling, he didn't like feeling rushed.

Grunting under his breath as he loosened the tie and started to the east. It didn't matter where he started, he needed to scope out a location to get into gear, he still had a mind to pick up a few bottles of scotch, whiskey and what have you, for brain fuel- but the gut feeling was being surprisingly responsible. Tony didn't like that either.

"Not the vacation I was hoping for." Mused before he turns a corner, faced with buldings, brick and unfamiliarity.

He would have went for the Kansas line, but he has things to do.
