[After a bit of fumbling around, the communicator's audio function turns on suddenly, unbeknownst to the one attempting to figure it out.]
-is this? A pocket watch? But why does it have this screen and all these buttons?
[There's a sigh and a bit more fumbling.]
Man, what even is this thing? Where am I? Thought I was going back to Radiant Garden, but it looks like I've landed in some kind of alternate Twilight Town...
[A pause.]
Or maybe not Twilight Town. Maybe it's a new world entirely.
Only one way to find out.
[After another pause and some unintelligible mumbling and sighing, the communicator audio cuts off.]
Third Person:
Lea disembarked the train with a somewhat ominous feeling seeming to weigh him down. One glance at his surroundings explained just why something seemed off: this was not where he had been planning to end up. Thinking back on it, he couldn't quite explain why he had been on a train at all. He had taken the train from Yen Sid's castle to Twilight Town, and from there he had been trying to reach Radiant Garden, but... this was definitely not his home world.
The sun was setting as he arrived, framing a clock tower in the middle of the city, and reminding him of Twilight Town, but, whatever this place was, it couldn't be Twilight Town. He paused in his thoughts when he noticed the feeling of something dropping into the pocket of his black cloak out of nowhere. Pulling the thing out, he noticed it seemed to be a pocket watch of sorts, though a bit different from any he had seen before: there seemed to be a screen and several more buttons than he remembered pocket watches needing.
He fumbled with the buttons while mumbling to himself for a couple of minutes, unsure what, exactly, he was supposed to do with the thing, before shoving it back into his pocket and resolving to look around this new world. Maybe he would be able to get answers from the residents - assuming, of course, that this placed had residents at all. Just as he was leaving the train station, a light rain began falling; upon pulling the hood of his cloak over his head, Lea was reminded that he hadn't been able to change out of his cloak just yet. Maybe, along with answers, he'd be able to find a change of clothes somewhere in the city.
Only one way to find out, he thought to himself, and set off into the city.
