[Canon] Wally West (Kid Flash) || Young Justice || Reserve || 2 of 2

First Person: [The video feed turns on to a very confused-looking ginger teenager with green eyes. He looks cautious as he speaks, as if he's not sure if he's really doing the right thing.]

Um, guys? Anyone there? I tried to get a secure signal but I don't think this, uh, thing - whatever this is - works like that.

[He lifts his head up to look around for a moment, trying to find someone, anyone in the vicinity.]

So, is this a test or... Did I get knocked out during a mission? Everyone alright?

[He's also considering the possibility that the Team isn't on the other end, or that they can't respond.] If anyone else is hearing this, could anybody tell me where I am and the way to the Hall of Justice? Thanks.

[He opens his mouth as if to say something else, pauses for a moment, and adds before closing the pocket watch.] Don't sweat it guys, I'll find you.

Third Person:

Wally was pretty tired, literally and figuratively. For the past couple of days he'd been running around the plains, crossed the mountains, roamed the forests, been to the lake, and every time it seemed to go nowhere. Finally he gave in and just walked around the city, trying to find anything familiar, a sign that this was some sort of test, or some place that a bad guy got him locked into. There was still the possibility that this was nothing but a dream or one of those mind-control situations they'd gotten themselves into before. He shuddered for a moment because those really weren't nice at all, and he'd much rather have people out of his head. (Though M'gann was cool.)

He sighed as he sat on the bridge, facing out, as he fiddled with his pocket watch. He stopped counting how many times he threw it away already, but the next morning, there it was, right next to his head when he woke up. Compared to the technology he had access to back home, this one was pretty rudimentar, so the excitement of figuring out how it worked was short lived. Just for the sake of frustration, he threw it away into the river and watched it as it sank to the bottom.

Well, at least the City had one good thing: girls. And they were pretty cute too, he mused as a small group crossing the bridge stopped halfway, relatively close to him. He turned his head at them with his best, most charming smile - because let's face it, there's no way the ladies can resist this - and spoke to them "Hey if you're lost, I can help you... I'm pretty good with directions, you know?"

One of the girls giggled, but otherwise they didn't respond. One of them muttered 'idiot' and threw him a crumpled piece of paper.

"Hey, anytime, okay? I'm serious!" he shout out at them as they walked off the bridge. He turned to flatten the paper she threw him; it looked like a rudimentar map of the City. He grinned a little. "Hey, souvenir!"
