First Person: [It isn't the first time Dante's ever followed an unexplained compulsion to go somewhere, or do something. In fact at first he doesn't even think it particularly strange to get on the train, things like this happen to him far more often than he'll admit. Another day in the life for the devil hunter.
However, it was perhaps the first time a train stopped somewhere relatively... normal? Sure, the place has the whole spooky mysterious fog thing going for it, but other than that it completely lacks the surreal, foreboding quality he's come to expect from these kinds of adventures. Honestly, it was a little disappointing.]
Losing your touch, or did you just decide to finally drop the cheesy horror novel act?
[He says to no one in particular. After a few beats and no answer (not that he was expecting one), Dante decides it's time to move. One of the many posters catches his eye, and without it he'd not have noticed the watch in his coat pocket. Well, that was sneaky now, wasn't it? Normally this pompous sort of thing wasn't his style, but flicking it open reveals its true use. Well, might as well play along for now.]
Well, wouldn't you know it? I missed my stop, and to make matters worse it looks like that was the last train of the day. I don't see anyone around running this place, so if someone in this fancy talking watch would be so kind as to point me in the right direction to hitch a ride home, you'd have my thanks.
[Yeah, he doubts that'll work. But, it's worth a try?]
