Personality: Lois Lane is a very persistent person. Someone who doesn't like hearing the word 'no' and won't take it for an answer. Everyone that knows her would say that she is head strong. Someone who has a stubborn streak a mile wide. When in situations she often uses her sarcasm and random unknown (or known) references to get to whatever point she is trying to make. If anything else she is brave. Though that might stem from the fact that she's a General's daughter and was moved around from army base to army base as a young child.
Though preferring life over death she will risk her own life in a dire situation to the point of needing to defend herself physically or verbally. And even though those situations can and would be scary she doesn't show the person she's addressing fear. That in itself is shown in her sarcasm.
When it comes to friends and family she is VERY protective (Because of this she is close to her cousin, Chloe). Someone they can turn to if and when they need help. An example of that would be Clark Kent or "Smallville" as she's so dubbed him. His friendship is one that she values not that she'd admit willingly. It'd be done with a reluctance that could only be classified as Lois Lane.
There is a side of her that no one truly sees. The side that has insecurity issues. A side that seeks approval from her father who is a General in the army even though if you ask her, he abandoned her when she was 6. (This being due to the death of her mother). She won't hesitate to say how much of a screw-up she is and will tell you if she's made a situation worse than what it already is. (She also thinks that she's the cause or rather blames herself for her sister's failures in life. However just because she blames herself for her sister's failures it doesn't mean that she's not proud of Lucy for her accomplishments.) Another downfall is she talks before her brain can process what is being said and stop her. So because of this she seems to be rather insensitive though in truth she's far from it.
Whenever it comes to a story she will do anything to get it. It doesn't matter if she has to break into a place or dress up in order to do so. She's dressed up as a french maid, stripper and other assorted personas in order to get what she wanted. If it comes down to it she'll even resort to flirting with the mark. If it gets her the story then she'll do it. Though she'll never over sexualize herself. That's where she calls the stopping point. Oh she'll do what needs to be done but she'll be uncomfortable doing it. Down to the point of being a bit clumsy. Nothing goes over her career to get her story except for maybe her support for the heroes of the world. After all she's dated a few and is now married to one. Her support for them (to her) is more important than her career. She's dated the Green Arrow and then fell in love with Clark (aka the Blur) and could've outted them because of the story their hero lives would've made. However she didn't do it. Their secrets were more important for her to keep their to tell the world their stories. Her career took a back burner to that.
Emotions. Lois has them in abundance but when she's down she drinks a lot. It tends to help her even if she'll have a hang over later. Her drinking got her kicked out of Metropolis U and it also caused her to give a toast to her cousin's wedding that she regretted. It doesn't stop her from drinking but it is something that has to be careful with if she doesn't want to embarrass herself.
On top of the alcohol she LOVES video games. Video games and rock music. Especially 80s rock music.
Also just like her super heroes (the ones she's dated and the ones she's friended) she will fight for truth and justice and will also fight social injustice when it comes to being a reporter.
Lois will not treat any of the super heroes (IE Clark Kent, Oliver Queen) as if they're superior to her. She will treat them as her equal. If she thinks they're doing something they shouldn't or if she has an idea of her own she will say so. Just because they're the heroes doesn't mean she doesn't have a mind. Doesn't mean she'll let them go in somewhere half cocked. Mind you they may not listen but she won't act inferior to them. She'll make sure that she's heard whether they like it or not.
