CHARACTER
Name: Tifa Lockhart
Canon: Final Fantasy 7
Timeline: Inbetween the game and the Advent Children film.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:

While deceptively strong, Tifa usually acts with empahty and is quite an emotionally shy character in her series. While being able to identify and responding to the feelings of others close to her, Tifa does not express her personal feelings very often, and in the rare cases where she does, she does it rather poorly. During a moment she shares with her love interest Cloud Strife in a gondola ride, Tifa is unable to properly tell Cloud her true feelings while offering euphemisms and vague feelings. It is this inability that keeps her from also helping Cloud to make sense of his past, being unable to bare the responsibility of what transpired when their hometown was destroyed many years ago.

Tifa is a very modern woman. She isn't one to be clingy or "soft" by definition. She isn't one to hold on to feelings, and she serves as an emotional backbone to many of the people around her. During the many accounts in the game where the cast is faced with a difficult problem, Tifa is the first character to stand up and push against the challenge that face them. Often, she is even jumping into the fray before Cloud or their ally Barret. When faced with trying to uncover more about the corrupt government of their city, Tifa willingly puts herself in the line of danger in order to help her friends by infiltrating a brothel. She is fearless when it comes to anything physical, fighting for those she loves by sacrificing her own safety, even when the odds are against her.

Tifa is also a diligent and hard working woman. She spends her time caring for everyone but herself, as already stated. On the inside, she keeps the feelings of uneasiness towards the man she loves locked up, while on the outside she plays an independent and quiet persona. She has a motherly streak and tends to give sanctuary to those who need it, often becoming a shoulder to lean on. She is able to find similar spirits in her friends, being some one whom many can relate back and forth with. She has known great pain but is able to live her life and move forward, something which many of her friends are unable to do. She is a voice of reason, and does also spend a deal of time breaking up quarrels between members of her faction. For the few times that Barret and Cloud have an altercation, Tifa has been able to step in without a second thought and cease their stubborn arguing with intelligent and fair solutions.

But for as sensible as Tifa can be, she is driven by large sense of revenge, which is what initially puts her in with the terrorist group known as AVALANCHE. Only with the addition of Cloud in their party does this sense of revenge grow to its full strength as it is played out in game. For the destruction of her home town, Tifa harbors an ever burning hatred for the ShinRa corporation and all those associated with them. For as forgiving as Tifa can be, she is unable to put her past behind her. It is this revenge that pushes her to travel with Cloud, as they journey across the world in hopes of putting an end to ShinRa's tyranny, and also the wrong doings of their past encounter with Sephiroth.

First Person:

[Her eyes began to open slowly. Her eyes tried to focus as the usual blur of a long rest clouded her sight. Bringing her hands to rub the slumber from her eyes, she adjusted and finally looked about the train car she was seated in. Though it seemed nostalgic of the train she rode in Midgar, it was in fact, a train she had never rode before. Her thoughts couldn't quite process how she arrived here, or for that matter why she was alone. Her heart and brain were now feeling the weight of uneasiness, and try as she might to lift the weight from her thoughts, she could not.

The speed of the train was now coming down to a stand still. The minute the car had ceased, the young girl was on her feet and running towards the doors of the vehicle. She didn't care for the consequences, she would rather jump into the thick of things if it meant trying to find some answers. As she passed the double doors, she saw the spread of the city before her, caught with her mouth agape and her face now painted with a look of pure shock.

This was not Midgar. She wasn't even sure if it was on Terra anymore. She was a stranger in a strange land, and for as many times as she looked back and forth, there were no familiar faces. The only thing she could do at a time like this was to put her hands on her hips, lower her head, and wonder if perhaps she was stuck inside another stream.]

".. What have you gotten yourself into this time, Tifa?"

Third Person:

[Having just now noticed the time on her pocket watch, Tifa made her way out from behind the bar to the front door of the Neo Seventh Heaven. Clearing her throat, she turned over the sign posted on the front door, and clicked the switch for the humming neon lights above the bar. Raising her voice, like that of a farmer crying out to a pig in the distance, Tifa began her usual routine for "Closing Time".]

"ALL RIGHT, FELLAS! I THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS BUT IT'S TIME TO SHUFFLE OUT FOR THE NIGHT! YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO HOME AND YOU CAN'T STAY HERE!"

[As she held the door open, Tifa checked on her usual customers to make sure they were in good shape to make the walk home, bidding them a good night and in some cases a "good luck". Once the saloon was clear, Tifa turned the lock on the door and turned back to the left over chores for her to do.

Once behind the bar, Tifa poured herself a shot glass. It wasn't her usual drink, because tonight wasn't any normal night. Even with being away from home, the calendar held the same dates. It had been six years to the day that her home town had been destroyed in the fire, and her usual drinking partner was not in attendance. Holding the glass up to the vacant audience in the bar, she made her toast aloud with a look of emptiness on her face.]

"To the finest member of SOLDIER I've ever known.. And to the man who holds my.. Well.. Here's to you.."

[With the lift of her glass and the jerk of her head, Tifa downed the shot in one go. Wiping the left over booze on her forearm, she set the bottle down and let out a gasping sigh.]

"Guess this bar isn't gonna' clean itself, huh?"

CHARACTER
Name: Korra
Canon: The Legend of Korra
Timeline: Post Episode 8.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:

Korra is, at times, a bit of a meathead. And by bit, I mean, a lot. She prefers solve her problems by punching them, and she gets flustered and frustrated when a head-on approach doesn't work out for her. Any case that calls for Korra to actually plot and sit and think things out usually ends with her blowing up if she doesn't get a solution instantly. Patience is certainly not one of her best qualities.

As a child, she spent a great deal of her founding years training to master the four elements of water, earth, fire, and air, in order to be properly prepared for her to take hold of her role as the Avatar. Korra has achieved leaps and bounds of progress in every type of core bending, and is a skilled and fierce fighter, but when it ccomes to the spiritual practice of Avatar training, she fails as if she were being paid by the hour. When it finally came time for her to study air bending, Tenzin (the former Avatar's son and renowned Master of air bending), it was like running head first into a wall for Korra. For what may have been the first time in her life, things were not proceeding easily to Korra. For someone who can learn quickly and excel at whatever she puts her mind to, Korra is living day to day with constant frustrations. It can't also help the fact that she is also surrounded by other air benders, whom hold a better grasp of the art than she can, especially since a lot of them are also children.

She has also, up until recently, been unable to communicate with her previous lives. At her age, most Avatars had either already mastered all four elements, been able to communicate into the spiritual side of their being, or both. It is a great pain for Korra to not have a hold on these things, knowing that her previous life, in the form of Avatar Aang, that a boy much younger than her had saved the world from the Fire Nation. In Korra's worries, it seems as though she feels inadequate, having nothing to show for her being the Avatar at seventeen years of age, especially when the city continues to look to her for an answer. When Tarlock began instituting a curfew and rounding up non-bending citizens, Korra could not do anything more than watch in vain as her friends (benders and non-bending alike) were arrested for trying to aide innocent people. Knowing that she holds great power, and yet, being unable to do anything, it can do a heap of damage to some one's ego. As for Korra, it certainly struck a blow.

Having moved from her isolated village to the busy life of Republic City, Korra's personality has grown in a very short time. She had grown up some what sheltered, believing that the city was a pristine paradise of class and approach. Sadly, her ideals were nothing more than a dream. The city wasn't filled with style or prestige. Instead, thugs and gangs roam the streets and bully non-bending citizens with the practice she had been raised with, homeless people lived in bushes in the park, and she quickly learned that not everyone had a team of teachers and advisers to seek when life became tough, or for that matter, a family. In the case of her team mates Bo-Lin and Mako, Korra learned that in some cases people have to sink low in order to survive, discovering that her new friends used to run with a local gang. The world Korra knew was no longer black and white, but clouded and unfair. This was the sound of a gun going off in Korra's head, causing her to finally see the city for what it really was. This, and many other discoveries became the driving force for Korra to begin training harder, in order to fulfill her duties as Avatar and to restore balance to the city she dreamed of. There are parts of Korra that are still sheltered, and she can still be a little gruff. She some times does the wrong things in her attempts to help, but her heart is in the right place. She means well, she is compassionate, and she strives to help those who need her as not only a friend, but as the Avatar.

Fear is very new, and surely very real for Korra. Living under the careful and protective watch of the White Lotus, Korra never needed to fear anything about her way of life. In Republic City, an activist named Amon began a series of attacks against benders in the city. Calling his group the Equalists, Amon possesses the frightful ability of robbing benders of their powers. Fear has become a very difficult emotion for Korra to cope with, and when she first confronted it, she at once pushed it away, not wanting to appear weak in the eyes of the people she has sworn to serve. Despite some reoccurring issues, Korra discovered that having fear is no where near the same things as being weak. Through opening up to Tenzin, Korra was able to discover that it is okay to be afraid, for as long as we have support, we can face any fear that comes our way. Though she still fears Amon, she still prefers to retreat when face to face with him, rather than try to fight him head on.

Korra is naturally very friendly, and she is able to make new friends with ease. On the flip side, she can make judgements rather quick. She isn't too stubborn to change her opinions of people once they've proven that they're different than she first presumed them to be. Once someone has earned her trust, there isn't much she won't do for them. If you're on Korra's bad-side though, pray night and day that you'll live to see next week. She is one to hold deep grudges, and never for anything petty or cheap. She does not back down easily in a fight, whether verbal or with fists. If some one has ever crossed her, and more importantly those that she cares for, Korra will not hesitate to make it known that you've wronged her. This usually comes in the form of a vicious beat down, a la her fight with Counsel-man Tarlock. When Korra's friends were wrongfully imprisoned, Korra had to struggle to not raise her hands against Tarlock, who held the decision to let them free or remain jailed. Discovering that Tarlock had no intention of releasing them, but only held on to them in order to use Korra, she delivered a swift and just assault against him. Unfortunately, Korra (infamous for leaping before thinking) was caught by surprise as she soon discovered Tarlock's secret bending art: blood bending.

First Person:

[It had taken a great deal of effort to accomplish, but finally Korra had secure herself a place she could call home. Though she may lack a sense of style and refinery, at least her housing would be "cozy".

With a sign of accomplishment, Korra fell backwards onto her newly built bed. Though she had been able to lift the weight of it to the top floor of her building, she couldn't curse how wonderful it felt to finally lie down.

Sinking into the mattress, she looked to her ceiling with a dazed and tired pair of eyes. She began to close her eyes slowly, mumbling as she began her descent into sleep.]

"Mmrmm.. Sleep.. Rules.."

Third Person:

[She couldn't believe it! Korra was beside herself in rage! She was usually quick to anger, but this was at least some thing valid! Her lips were in danger of being stuck in a curl as her eyebrows twitched with fury. Snatching up her communicator, Korra flipped on the device. She started screaming so suddenly that the first part of her voice was cut off.]

"-OU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TIME IT IS?! IF YOU MAKE US LATE FOR THE BIG GAME, SO HELP ME I WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU EAT ALL OF YOUR MEALS THROUGH A STRAW! This is it! This is our big chance! Do you really wanna' blow it for us because you can't peel yourself away from your.. your.. YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!"

[She stares into the device with an intent that suggests castration. Since not being able to compete in professional bending, Korra had held a great deal of importance in playing soccer with the other denizens of the city. The fact that she was quite good at it didn't help much in making her calm down, but now that her victory over the other teams was in jeopardy, she felt her anger was appropriate.]

"Seriously! If you wanna' be on this team, be here like.. like.. TEN MINUTES AGO! Uggh~!"

[With a heavy sigh, she rubbed her temples as she set the device down on the table in front of her.]

"Look.. I'm.. I'm sorry! This is just really important to me, okay? I really wanna' play and this isn't helping at all so just get her quick, please?!"

CHARACTER
Name: Iceland
Canon: Hetalia Axis Powers
Timeline: modern day
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: n/a

Personality:
Iceland has been described as having a mysterious aura about him and always maintaining a good silence. His expression usually is that of worried or frustrated, brows almost always furrowed. Otherwise, the boy otherwise keeps a neutral expression. Iceland has something against smiling and refuses to do so though Norway has tricked him to do it at least once before.

He strives to uphold an adult image of himself and considers himself to be the most mature and sane member of the Nordic group. He does his best to be a patient person. As he is surrounded with neighbours that are not always on their best behaviour or doing things to his distaste, Iceland feels the need to emerge as a respectable individual. When faced with verbal confrontation, he is more than likely to rebut in a rather weak fashion with a lack of wit before doing his best to walk away from it. He is only a pushover and only results in the other party winning as he simply does not want to be bothered if he cannot actually get away. Feelings are more than likely going to be expressed through gestures more so than words. Despite it not being the best way for him to communicate and get the word across in the way he would want, it is somehow more fulfilling.

Iceland does not like to be straightforward and he seems to keep his interests private even though the other Nordics may have an idea of him as Finland says that Denmark and Iceland are rather friendly with one another. However, he has gotten used to sitting out on an island by himself and he has taken interest in things going out around his own home as well as the Nordic group. He tends to be an onlooker during events and will not mind himself being surrounded by something he is not too familiar even if excitement is never expressed. What tends to trouble him happens to be being teased by people he is familiar with and yet he tends to stay with them, either way. Something he does actually like, however, is his own success with the tourism business and earning their money.

Despite working towards his own achievements, he does have issues with his own person. It has been expressed that he has a dislike of undressing himself, particularly in front of people, more than likely due to his thin shape. While such a minor thing, a big fuss is made and then he ends up dressing himself rather plainly. There is also a problem he has with speaking in his language, Icelandic, preferring to speak in English as to be understood by others. He even goes as far to try to hide his accent in means to make his speech even more clear. It has been mentioned to having a cold due to the current economic problems of his country. However, he has shown no sign of illness as possibly tries to draw such attention to himself especially with Russia having assisted him with getting better.

First Person:
[He is not stupid enough to think it is a dream but he cannot explain to himself what is going on. Being the only passenger on the train is also an obvious thing and that does not ease the nerves. He tries not to get himself worked up over the matter even though answers are welcomed. Things had to come to an end, this ride included.]

Hn...
[His timing is good. The train is slowly coming to a stop and he takes that time to stand. Sitting around is not going to give him any answers, obviously. Because sitting only has him wondering why. He has been trying to not let it get to him and yet he is failing. Gritting his teeth, he hurries down the aisle. It is not the lack of people that is so troublesome; it is the matter of how he is on this train. Why is he on this train? No one he knows is clever or crude enough to pull such a prank.

It is with getting off the train does he see a sign. It does answer a question to where he is and yet only causes more confusion. He knows of no Ruby City. It does not look like any of his own towns. He rubs at his forehead, trying to keep himself together. Maybe this is a joke. Yes, this certainly looks like he can be somewhere more in the east. He needs someone to get angry at. For now, he stands and tries to think. His hands ball up into fists at his sides and that is when he realises something.

He is quick about sticking a gloved hand into his pocket and pulling out something. Out of confusion, he blinks. It is safe to say that the watch he has pulled out is not actually his.]

Third Person:
It was stupid of him to go along with such an idea. Dressing up for Halloween, ha! His group ended up losing the costume contest. What sort of idea was pirates, anyway? Iceland pulled his bandana off his head and grit his teeth. Not only was the Nordic costume pirate theme stupid, Iceland had the worst costume out of the lot. He could not even be considered a proper pirate, wearing such a thin vest and not even getting a nice hat like the others in his group.

'I didn't want to be a part of this in the first place,' he reminded himself, bitterly.

Not only had they lost, Iceland looked like a fool while doing it. Iceland was a mere deck hand. What was the point in being angry, anyway? He managed to get away from them and he got a jacket on in means to hide his poorly made costume. It was what he wanted to begin with. No, he wanted to stay home. Or, at least...not get the shitty end of the deal. But that was what happened when his attempts to ignore the other Nordics failed. Iceland only had himself to blame. It merely caused him to sulk.

The bandana was pushed into his jacket's pocket before he turned to his cup of coffee. He allowed it to sit for a good minute and he had no intention on staying forever. Maybe it was not a bad idea, though, if no one could find him. He brought his coffee up to his lips, taking a sip. It was the best feeling he experienced in the last few hours, really. His coffee was black, the way he liked it, and the cafe was quiet enough for him to think. Iceland was trying to focus his mind on home and work. Those were much more beneficial things.

CHARACTER
Name: Rapunzel
Canon: Tangled
Timeline: After breaking up the fight between Maximus and Flynn and getting them to call a truce.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: At exactly 18 years old, Rapunzel is primarily three things: Curious, talented, and sweet. The curiosity comes from her sheltered life, and she longs to know more about what other people's lives are like. In fact, her curiosity is one of her main driving forces. Due to it, she develops the bravery to look at the world as more than just a scary place. She loves to learn about a number of subjects, and approached the world wide-eyed and ready to be taught… Which leaves her perhaps a bit too impressionable.

She has a number of skills she developed early in life, to cope with being bored, and while none of them are particularly helpful in a big-picture sense, (she's mostly artistically gifted), it passes the time. As an artist, she's truly exceptional. Painting is her true passion, whereas her other hobbies are more ways of passing the time. So while her artistic gifts are grand, she is not an expert in her other areas of interest, even the other artsy ones. Still, she's not doing these things to be the best - She's doing them to have fun.

She's also quite... Well, really, good, to the point of being somewhat naive and trusting those she shouldn't. She has a positive nature, is incredibly obedient, (most of the time), and in general is just a well-intentioned soul who brings out the best in others. She's non-judgemental and very open to new ideas about other people and accepting their flaws. A large part of this is the fact that she's had so few people in her life that she really isn't about to discriminate when it comes to who she gets to know.

Rapunzel can be a bit of a scaredy-cat, but it's not without good reason. While, as mentioned above, she has the ability to bring out the best in people, she was always taught that there was no best in most people. Though she is very trusting of people, her initial reaction is still always suspicion and fear when meeting someone new.

Additionally, she is perfectly capable of being tricky and manipulative when a goal is important to her. On that note, the girl is incredibly determined when she has a dream to reach. She just doesn't give up, even if she has to do some wrong - so long as it's not truly cruel - to get where she wants to be. She works hard, faces her fears, and thinks and acts her way around obstacles when she's on a mission.

But how does Rapunzel see herself? Well, that's a little complicated. She will wake up in the morning feeling pretty good about who she is, but it doesn't take much from Gothel to make her see herself as weak and helpless. However, she is very quick to overcome that when she does something right.

CHARACTER
Character Name: The Disciple
Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: Just before her 'execution'
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?:N/A

Personality:
Disciple is Nepeta's Ancestor and as such is similar to her in many ways. She is loyal to a fault, lively and happy, and is a competent huntress. Unlike her descendant, she refuses to use violence against her fellow trolls. It's noteworthy that even though the e%cutioner killed the Signless and the Disciple is griefstricken, she does not attempt to hurt him or attack her. Her love for the Signless and her utter grief at his death do not overshadow the teachings he instilled in her and she refuses to attack.

Before his capture, she was a bright and lively individual. She was unafraid of what lay ahead as she traveled, even after the attack by woofbeasts. Her favorite activity was always reaching the next hill or the next town. Every day was a new adventure and it was all the better for having her lover at her side. Even when they were in trouble from highbloods at various times before their capture, the Disciple bounced back quickest of all. Her ability to look on the bright side and take a lighter tone was invaluable in a group of somewhat serious individuals. In fact it could be, on occasion, somewhat grating because she insisted on taking the 'look on the bright side' thing a bit too far. Which is to say, Disciple almost entirely lacked the ability to read the atmosphere. She says the wrong thing at the wrong time quite often and is quick to assume.

She enjoyed writing almost obsessively, taking it upon herself to write down all of his sermons and often carried around her book of his teachings. She recorded nearly everything in fact, from the towns they visited to conversations their group had. She can be extremely talkative but is equally able to be a great listener. Catch her interest and she will sit there listening to you go on and on. She was very adept at making fires, skinning and preparing animals, and finding new plants for them to eat. She loves to be useful, going out of her way to figure out tiny ways she can help her friends or random trolls.

She could be a little defensive at times and was quick to uphold her honor and those of the rest of her little group of friends. Before becoming his Disciple, she got into a few fights but that occasional temper or pride has calmed down. She was a bit sheepish about her habit of slipping into catpuns, since she considered them to be somewhat childish and she tried to curb them whenever she can.

History:
Very little is known about the Disciple in canon so I had to fill in many blanks. What is known is that she was the most faithful disciple of Signless and they were lovers of some sort. I filled in some blanks of her back ground with ideas from Mater Dolorosa. The following background is mostly filled in with ideas from that fanfiction. If that's unacceptable, please let me know.

Like all trolls at this time on Alternia, Bastet was found in the caverns by her lusus, brought to the surface and raised and protected until she was near maturity. Unlike most, she was brought to the caverns by a meteor and in another lifetime she played and lost a game that destroyed her world. This new life was her chance to prepare this world anew for a new set of children who would play the same game.

Bastet took after her feline lusus in many ways, taking up claws to hunt and defend herself and learning the ways to survive in the jungle. When her lusus was killed some time in her eighth sweep, she was saddened but felt herself quite able to take care of herself.

Unfortunately, Alternia is not a safe place to roam alone and she was nearly killed by a pack of howlbeasts. It was then that a woman and a boy her age leapt in and saved her. She was both enchanted and grateful and clung to them for a few days. When they inevitably moved on, she followed from a distance. It was a combination of loneliness and attraction that led her on this path, following them for a lack of a better option. She witnessed the boy speaking several times and his words touched her. The world without violence that he spoke of...it was mesmerizing.

She has to get closer to them. She wants to follow them, to hear the words from his lips, to go wherever they will take her. It does not matter so long as it is with them. She follows, asks to join them and is thrilled to be invited. The words he speaks are now written, carefully in her book. She is his ever faithful scribe and with them, she journeys to spread his word to the people of Alternia. As he gained the name 'Signless' she gains her own, 'Disciple' and she takes to it with eagerness, almost entirely abandoning her old name. She finds it a far more fitting name for herself and will give it as her own if asked

Disciple provides them with new ways to survive and new methods of patience and things of that sort, and becomes invaluable in her own time. Her new thoughts and her traditional upbringing give the Signless a new perspective on their society and her open mind and heart allow them to become close. It's later, after many perigrees that he and she fall for each other in a way that trolls have no word for.
They travel on, over waters in their ship, even after it becomes obvious that the highbloods are learning what is going on under the surface of their planet. The Signless and his words have spread over the planet and he is greeted with recognition from those he has never met. The undercurrent of rebellion forces them to be fast on their feet and quick with their weapons. They don't kill other trolls. It isn't their way, but they won't allow themselves to be caught or scared into hiding. They run and speak until the very last day before the highbloods catch them.

Disciple watches them force her lover into irons so hot they burn and bleed and watches his mutant red blood displayed for the world to see and they are all bound as well.

She, his most faithful, cannot save him, but she steals what is left on his body, a pair of leggings, the only thing left. She awaits her execution with glaring eyes.

Personality: If you asked Karkat to describe himself, he'd probably give you a litany of aggressively colorful phrases; none of which would include the words 'nice', 'caring', or 'kind'. He has no patience for stupidity and even less patience for anything that might interfere with how he thinks things should be done, and the fact that it occasionally frequently seems like the whole universe is stacked against him (and he can do nothing to change it) makes him a furious, prickly ball of rage, ready to snap on the next person to cross him in the wrong way.

Really, though, the Knight is all bark and very little bite. Beneath the bluster of cursing and overly intricate metaphors is a troll who worries deeply about his friends and really just wants to make sure everyone's okay at the end of the perigee. He'll fight - if he has to - when one of his friends is in danger, and is quick to cut down (verbally, at least) anyone who might challenge any one of his companions in a manner meant to do harm. He's got a kind soul concealed under his crabby exterior, one that he's loathe to reveal.

He's as volatile as he is because he wants to keep everyone at a distance, though he doesn't always do a very good job of it. In the end, it's almost worth it to try and push past all that cursing to see what's underneath, though he's definitely not going to let anyone have an easy time of it.

First Person: [Karkat has to suppress the growl that's threatening to start thrumming in the back of his throat as he inches down the hallway, his sickle clutched desperately in one hand. He doesn't want to be found - that is, in fact, the opposite of what would be good for things right now - but he can't just sit still. It goes against everything in his nature. Besides, maybe he could fix things. Maybe. Maybe things weren't so far gone that they were irreparable.]

Gamzee?

[The name is a faint whisper, and he winces, kicking himself mentally. Yeah. That's a great idea. Call for the crazy fucker.

He does it again, anyway. This time, there's more volume in his voice.]

Gamzee, c'mon, come the fuck out, asshole. It's time to cut all this hoofbeast shit. It was hilarious while it lasted, and I promise you've already won every award for 'Best Comedic Horror to Cross the Screen Since the Last Fuckery That Left Trollywood', and I'll make sure you've got the best damn suit for the awards ceremony, you'll be the prettiest troll at the midnight ball, we'll get your hair done and everything. But let's get back to fucking reality.

[His voice trembles a little at the end, and he swallows. There's a noise behind him, a creak somewhere in the darkness, and he spins around, sickle at the ready. Fuck.

He doesn't want to find Gamzee Makara, not really, but he's more scared of what will happen if he doesn't.

So he keeps inching down the hallway. Somewhere, the highblood is waiting. Karkat halfway hopes that he'll be the first one to find him. Better him than some poor shitsponge who doesn't know what to expect...]

Third Person: Fuck, it was cold.

Karkat huffed, hugging himself almost desperately. He was scowling - as per usual - as he tromped down the street, footfalls louder than normal in the awkward snow-boots, scuffling along the sidewalk through the freshly-fallen snow. If it weren't for the promise of coffee (and oh, how he wished that he'd been able to experience the fucking magical beauty that coffee was before he'd come to this gog-forsaken place, it was like someone had taken everything perfect in the world and transformed it into the most wonderful drug that had ever existed; seriously, he didn't see how people could taste it just once and then go on about their day like it wasn't a big deal) he probably wouldn't have set foot out of his hiveblock this morning. If he'd known just how cold it was going to be, coffee still might not have been enough of a draw.

He'd taken note of the frost on his window, he'd pulled on a sweater, had even dug out those ugly earmuffs that he'd been given earlier this sweep. Gloves, horrible snowboots, and he'd thought himself prepared.

Now, two blocks away from the place he called 'home' and with another half a block to go to the coffee shop, he was regretting even bothering. He idly wondered if he'd ever have feeling in his nose again. It was so cold it hurt.

"Fuck. Everything." He muttered, hugging himself again, walking a little faster.

The coffee had better be fucking good.

Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: The end of her life, after her assassination as ordered by (presumably) Orphaner Dualscar.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: Dirk Strider. Being from separate planets and different points in time, the Dolorosa and Dirk have never, and likely will never meet in canon, as she was dead long before he was 'born'. Although Dirk has an interest in the rebel trolls, it would be easy enough to separate the actions of he and the Dolorosa as they move in largely differing circles and have vastly differing interests.

CHARACTER
Name: Wally West (Kid Flash)
Canon: Young Justice
Timeline: Season 1, Episode 20
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:

Wally West a 16 year-old superhero, a speedster who is a member of the original Young Justice team. He is often portrayed as the clown in the group. He's quite flashy (no pun intended) and enjoys putting on a show and being the center of attention. He's always the first to make lighthearted comments during missions, trying to lighten the mood with jokes. Even though he's popular, it's not at all in the 'football-player-that-all-girls-want-to-date' way - he's funny, silly and sometimes ridiculous, so he stands out and is usually a very well-liked guy because of it.

To go with his superpower, Wally is hot-blooded and hot-headed. He is very impatient for most things, which shows on many of their missions; often he is instructed to wait but he decides to go for it before getting the figurative green light. This sort of reckless nature and impulsive behavior often gets him, and consequently the rest of the Team, into trouble. For instance, during one of their first missions, Kid Flash ignores Aqualad's order to stand down and moves in to help Robin, and consequently the three of them end up getting captured - even though afterwards the rest of the team rescues them.

In spite of his goofy nature, Wally's pretty smart, and has a lot of scientific knowledge. During the third episode, he easily recognizes Speedy's polyurethane foam that is used against Brick, and the following episode he is easily capable of analyzing the chemical combination of Bane's Venom drug, Kobra-Venom. Wally's a firm believer of science, and therefore rejects any possibility of magic as anything other than really advanced science. His beliefs are put to a test when during a mission to stop Abra Kadabra and Klarion, two magic users, he is forced to put on the Helmet of Fate, which allows Doctor Fate to control his body and win the battle thanks to magic. Since then it's unknown if his views on magic have changed or not, but he still won't admit to its existence.

Not only as Wally but also as Kid Flash, he enjoys being in the middle of all the action. During any and all missions he can rarely pull out stealth, as he gets too stressed to wait and just dives in head first. He greatly admires the Justice League, especially his uncle Barry (Flash) and during joint missions looks forward to fighting alongside them. On his birthday the Team is paired up with the League's members, but Wally is the only one with a different solo mission. He is instructed to deliver a donor heart from Boston to Seattle. He clearly shows his disappointment at being excluded from the group, but accepts the mission anyway, albeit begrudgingly. Afterwards he appreciates that even the background missions and being the unsung hero is also very important, as he saves a young girl's life and in this case, since she was a queen, the freedom of a country.

Another important trait of Wally's personality is his girl-crazy attitude. The moment he meets M'gann (Miss Martian) he is smitten, and often drops not-so-subtle hints and one-liners filled with innuendo at her. But throughout the show he is seen flirting with numerous girls and women of different ages - some examples are Black Canary (he has to be suicidal), Selena Gonzales and Mattie Harcourt.

Because he rarely sits still and runs pretty fast, he constantly needs to recharge with juices, energy bars, pizza and any other foods that are rich in carbohydrates. He is often seen gobbling down some big piece of cake or slice of pizza, and he's always packing power bars and juice with him. In spite of this, he is very lean though slightly muscular, since he quickly burns off the carbs due to his running around and his fast metabolism.

In the group, he gets along best with Robin, and their relationship is portrayed as a sort-of best friendship, even though it's shown that Wally doesn't even know Robin's real name (Dick Grayson). He has a romantic interest in M'gann but during the twentieth episode he finds out that she is actually dating Connor (Superboy). He gets into arguments and conflicts most often with Artemis, even though it's more out of denial than anything else - he clearly cares a lot for her. With her apparent death during the sixteenth episode he becomes irrational and even more rash and impulsive than usual, at some point almost becoming violent with other members of the team. He later denies any feelings when Black Canary confronts him about what happened.
He'll generally get along with anyone. When it comes to girls, and women, if they're good looking he will undoubtedly hit on them - unless they're confrontational like Artemis, in which case he will most likely keep bickering with them. Even though he's a goof-ball he's not dumb - he knows when he's being mocked or teased and he will most likely retort, even if it sometimes might get him in trouble.

Last but not least, he likes to keep souvenirs, either of missions or of day-to-day events. It goes from big, relevant things, like the Helm of Nabu, the mystery arrow or Chesire's mask, to seemingly unimportant stuff with only sentimental value, like a piece of Count Vertigo's cape or the medical bag in which he carried the donor heart.

CHARACTER
Character Name: Orphaner Dualscar
Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: Post Death
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: This is only to be used if are already playing another character from the canon you are applying for. For example, if you are apping Mario and you already play Princess Peach in the game, how will you handle their interactions without playercesting? Depending on your answer, you may be refused the character you are apping for.

Personality: It's important to note that while Eridan Ampora is Dualscar's descendant, that does not necessarily make them the same person. They've lived completely different lives and grown differently as characters, but they still share the same core traits. Thanks to a life of inherent superiority, they've grown up as haughty, arrogant and elitist characters. However, Dualscar has lived a longer life and has had a substantially longer time to brood over things. As such, his bitterness is deeper set, while Eridan's is more a façade for the attention of other's.

Ranking is essential to Dualscar's life. He finds joy in order and will argue and fight against anyone who tries to undermine his beliefs. He feels uncomfortable when people point out flaws or mistakes and covers his anxiousness with snark and denial. He's incredibly stubborn when it comes to such things and it's unlikely that he'll ever accept facts or opinions that don't reflect his own. To him, there's no reason to argue when it should be obvious that he's right and that's argument enough to back up any claims he has.

He doesn't have much of a sense of humour (which doesn't endear him to the subjuggulators). In fact, he finds jokes bothersome and irritating. This might be because he has a difficult time distinguishing between whether someone is being serious or kidding around and he has little patience for people who aren't straight forward. It's embarrassing not to understand them straight away and he takes jibes to himself personally and thus, becomes agitated and cagey. However, he is capable of sarcasm and the occasional grim snark at someone else's misfortune. The angriest he gets is when he believes he's being made a mockery of. It's clear he's got his share of insecurities to hide despite his social ranking.

While he's quick to dismiss things that irritate him or opt out of arguments out of frustration, he will brood on it for hours. He has a tendency to dwell on the past and mull over conversations had and conversations he could have. He often invents situations in which he's conflicted with others, which causes him to both be wary of them and beat them to their inevitable betrayal by snapping first. He's quick to make assumptions of other's based upon their blood and appearance and rarely hangs around long enough to discover if they're true. People close to him are either insanely persistent or simply there because of social eloquence. As such, he's extremely lonely.

His appearances are important to him, because he wants to reflect a personality that is formidable and powerful. He dresses as someone who is nothing short of proud in regards to his blood colour. He takes a long time to attend to himself and primp himself and loathes being seen in a dishevelled state. He's early to bed and early to rise and seldom lingers around the company of others unless they give him good reason. That being said, just because he cares for appearance doesn't make him any less powerful or dangerous. You touch his cape, he will cut a bitch.

In troll society, weaknesses such as prioritising appearance over strength will not get you far. Dualscar is aware of this, and he spends as much time training and preparing for battle as he does getting dressed. He's a strategist by nature and he's skilled at formulating practical and successful battle plans. He takes his time to sit back and weigh the odds in his favour, making under handed moves before he strikes and takes all he can from the battle. He's a ruthless fighter, which is to be expected. His morals are loose, but can we really consider that important when it comes to trolls?

Even if he's not Mr. Niceguy, he believes in formalities and eloquence. He can either be painfully and almost cruelly concise or long winded and boring when speaking. He has a tendency to drone on when he gets started, garnishing his sentences with an extended vocabulary so as to put on an air of class even when arguing. However, blood colour will determine how he speaks to you. He's much quicker to snap to a nastier, less formal tone with a low blood than he ever would be with a highblood. When he does snap, he relies heavily on swearing and threats to get his points across.

Perhaps, even by troll standards, he's a bit of a dick. He expects the most and the best from everyone. He expects mutual feelings from others while he's burdened by his affections for the Empress. He seldom returns the expectations he sets out of carelessness and selfishness. He becomes possessive of Mindfang and aggressive toward her low blooded interests, all the while aware that he has other flushed interests. He expects total devotion and yet seems to believe he should be able to do as he pleases, it's within his rights. He's impatient and wishes for results and answers straight off the bat, he rarely gives things time to settle or grow before he interferes.

He's haunted by his own weakness and becomes defensive quite quickly; you can pretty much assume he's always got his little barricade up and about. He seldom talks openly about his emotions as he deems them far too pathetic. If you do point them out, you will need to prepare for the tongue lashing of a lifetime and an inevitable death. Really though, deep down he's got a romantic soul and he yearns for mutually flushed feelings. He expresses his positive feelings through loyalty and dedication. After all, he kept all he knew about Mindfang hidden up until she wouldn't return his flushed feelings. One could speculate that those feelings came to be because the pirate grew on him, it's unlikely that anyone had ever gotten so close to him until he met her and he'd gotten accustomed to the idea of having her around. However, it's possible he only felt that way out of a need to control and tame her and not out of something pure.

It would appear that he wears his heart on his sleeve, even if he tries to hide his less favourable feelings. Mindfang was well aware of his feelings for the Empress and he did little to hide his jealousy when coming across her and her slave. Once again, he will fiercely deny any accusations and his temper will flare. He's clearly sensitive and it pains him to know it. While he relies so heavily on social status and power, he's riddled with self-doubt and insecurities. If a red-rom is what he desires, why should it be so difficult to acquire? It is perhaps his over zealousness in that sense that makes him undesirable as a mate, even if pity is the basis for a relationship.

As well as being a strategist, he's also a collector by nature. He collects land, treasure, maps and even trolls. He'd had quite bit of land dominated and more than enough treasure under his belt before he learned to scrutinise. He slowly became more judgmental and careful about what he kept, discarding or abandoning things that didn't seem unique or rare. He's quite proud of his collection. When he acquired Dolorosa, he viewed her as a rarity and something precious because of her blood, but still treated her as an underling. He was certain Mindfang was out to snatch her from him; he hadn't figured she would be after the jade blood in a romantic sense. That was a nasty surprise for him.

In game, it will be difficult for him to settle into a new system so quickly. He will, however, be eager to rise up the caste system. The idea of being pulled away from the system that's ruled his life will be difficult to adjust so, so he's going to cling to any sense of superiority he will find. Given that I'm taking him post death, he will most likely be considering what went wrong in his life that lead to that. Dualscar will attempt to control any situation he is placed into, even if the odds are far out of his favour. Of course, control to him is to snap and snark at everyone around him while still attempting to gather information that he can use to rise to the top and/or escape from his confines. He will also be forced to venture out of his comfort zone if he wants to climb the ladder. Until now, he's been reasonably picky with his lovers, favouring those of a higherblood caste for any sort of relationships. It will require quite a bit of development for him to drop his prejudice and open his arms and his pants for lower blood castes, let alone, other species.

CHARACTER
Name: Davesprite
Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: Immediately post-Cascade, before Jade brings him to the party boat.

Personality: DAVESPRITE: ask me anything go ahead ill give you a straight answer
DAVE: alright
DAVE: here goes
DAVE: why are we so fucking awesome

DAVESPRITE: thats the best fucking question anybody ever asked

So there's this thirteen-year-old boy who lives with his brother, striking cool into the heat of Texas. He runs his own blog, mixes his own music, develops his own photos, and makes his own (awful) comics. He fills his room with posters of robots and dead things in jars. He's quick with a katana and quicker with a verbal jab, especially when it comes to rap battles. His buddies come from all over the country, and as for bullies--well, he once trolled a troll into blocking him. He never takes off his shades. Pretty sweet, right?

Davesprite used to be Dave Strider, the aforementioned sweet dude with the shades and the swag. The defining drive of his life was maintaining his aura of chill nonchalance, which mostly manifested as verbal irony and a general downplaying of emotion. There was nothing that could get his goat. Absolutely. Not even a thing. Not the goading of internet trolls or his brother's creepy puppets or the insinuation that someone peed in his apple juice--this kid just took it in stride and flung back sarcastic commentary and did not at all flip off the handle. Or if he did, he made sure to spin it into the illest acrobatic pirouette.

Take that kid and put him into a game that ends the world, kills his friends, and makes itself impossible to win.

Long story short, an alternate version of Dave came back from a doomed, dead-end future to save his friends. This alternate Dave became Davesprite. He's still Dave, but he's saddled with what might have been months of endless monster-fighting, the loss of two of his best friends, heightened exposure to unforgiving psychoanalysis from his last friend and the only other living human left in his timeline (who also happens to be the sister he didn't know he had), and the knowledge that all he was doing, every enemy he destroyed, amounted to nothing more than reconnaissance to ensure this Dave would make the past go the right way.

Maybe he's a little bit bitter.

TG: john stop being a tool and unbuckle yourself from that piece of shit
TG: if our friendship means anything youll listen to me and past dave
TG: this is future dave by the way

Compared to Dave, Davesprite's usually a little more straightforward and easier to read. He doesn't have much patience for bullshit, even his own, so he'll often just come out and say things instead of deflecting his sincerity through layers of foul language and metaphor. He's still more comfortable mowing down demons with a sword than he is with his feelings, but he's a bit easier to parse. This is even more so the case when Davesprite has important information to impart; a sprite's role is to guide players through the game, and he doesn't seem to have a problem with being helpful. When he's upset or doesn't want to share something, though, he can clam up pretty intensely--and be an unbelievable jerk about it, too.

He also used to hold the game-given title of the Knight of Time, so he's got a chivalrous, protective impulse wrapped up in all that posturing and places a surprising value on duty for a thirteen-year-old. Davesprite always has some greater purpose to attend: saving his friends, sticking around to mentor Dave, backing up his brother, reforging a legendary sword. It could be that he keeps himself busy to avoid thinking about his no-longer-dead friends, or how he abandoned his sister in the bad timeline with no definite assurance her consciousness would transfer to the good. He certainly avoids contacting all of them except on game-related, saving-their-lives business. He instead focuses blindly on his responsibilities.

TG: but like
TG: if im seeing this
TG: shouldnt i be able to do something about it
TG: or stop it from happening or
TG: i dont know like anything to keep helping my friends
TG: what do i do

And Davesprite's ultimate responsibility is to his people. While Alpha Dave can get distracted by sidequests and rap-offs and troll banter, Davesprite pursues the well-being of his friends and family with a dogged persistence not even the most exquisitely crappy comic-strip peace offerings can deter. This protectiveness may blind him to full understanding of his friends' own strengths--both he and Dave can be a little dismissive of them, especially the friendlier, nicer ones. The self-aggrandizement and stand-offish attitude may not be more than an act, but Davesprite tends to think he's the only one who can get things done. He's either the only one capable, the only one knowledgeable, or the only one, well, expendable enough, as an alternate Dave. And when things go bad, he has a tendency to blame himself.

AA: and yes your guardian did die
TG: dammit
TG: what did i do wrong

With all that weight, and after being completely powerless to stop the game's super-villain from tearing him apart and killing his brother, it's really no wonder that Davesprite comes off as worn and war-weary. He's been through a lot, and he's hurt in every way, and he's so close to just being done with it all that the only thing that has been keeping him going is his sense of duty.

After all, he doesn't consider himself the "real" Dave anymore. He's drawn back from his friends, turned timeline management over to Alpha Dave, lost his brother, and even gave up his normal body to prevent his bad future from happening. He's in terrible condition. The other Dave's there to pick up where he left off. What's he got left to hang on for besides one last effort to help his friends?

JADESPRITE: what about your sword? isnt it important?
DAVESPRITE: i guess so
DAVESPRITE: but not really for me since im not the real dave anymore

So the tl;dr version: He's an insufferable prick the same pseudo-detached sarcastic jerk he always was, but he cuts out a lot of the bullshit because of everything he's lost. He's still cagey about his feelings, but it's a little clearer how much he really does care about his people. He clings to purpose like a drowning man to the rock pulling him down. Because under all the pop culture references and ironic metaphors, he's just a thirteen-year-old kid loaded up with guilt and insecurity.

CHARACTER
Name: Jane Crocker
Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: After [S] Dirk: Unite, but before entering the medium.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: Asides from the fact that Jane has no reason to talk with a troll who’s a billion years older than her, Jane is relatively exclusive and shy. She sticks to those she trusts, and the chances of her interacting with Psiioniic are slim to none.

Personality: Jane is a horribly skeptical character. Her skepticism is one of the things that set her apart from the rest of the Alpha timeline, and she’s always been a bit doubtful. She doubts things unless she can see them for herself, even when she’s being told by her closest friends. She realized, slowly, that she shouldn’t doubt everything, and is making a better effort at believing things at face value. She told Roxy she would believe anything the girl told her, but she still seemed to doubt many of the things she was told. She is hesitant to believe the fantastic, and refused to believe that Betty Crocker was an evil corporation. It was all just so silly!

Jane is a straightforward girl, but she’s not all serious all the time. She comes from a long line of pranksters, and she loves situational comedies and pulling pranks on others. Silly pranks, though, because she wouldn’t want to harm anyone! Despite this love for jokes, Jane can’t really handle the absurd or unexpected. She was baffled and unsettled by Gamzee’s appearance, which really isn’t weird, but when stressed and surprised she tends to become even more defensive and resistant than she usually is, and way more on edge.

Another thing that puts Jane on edge is the topic of her feelings. She tends to avoid the topic, and gets very flustered, very, very easily. She hates to impose on others, and she really can’t express herself. She has a tendency of shutting down and not speaking her mind, and then kicks herself for that later. It doesn’t really help her the next time she has to talk, and she kicks herself again. This extends into more than just romance, because Jane can get very overwhelmed very, very easily, and she wishes she could have handled things better.

She is remarkably stubborn and curious, which seems like a common trait in her family. Instead of listening to Dirk’s AR about staying put. She felt like she had to go and solve a mystery, and couldn’t just keep her ass put. She didn’t seem to understand that she could be walking into danger, and really just wanted to see if her Father was there, or if she could possibly find more. She was worried about her friends, and her family, and she couldn’t just stand around when she could do so much more. Perhaps because she gets excited, as she is a very excitable girl, and perhaps it was her love of mysteries, because she’s always wanted to be a detective and wants to be hardboiled, but whatever the reason there is, Jane can’t stay in one place for long, or obey people when they tell her to drop things.

She loves baking, and can be just as sweet as the cakes she makes. She’s not a pushover, but she is very kind and caring, even if she can’t express herself without feeling like a fool. She can be very down on herself, and she thinks she can do better. She feels like she has expectations she has to meet, and she’s afraid of never reaching them and of failure, and she refuses to speak of them. She tried to be a gardener, but she got frustrated at her plants disappearing and now refuses to talk about it. Jane feels like she has to make her family and friends proud. She can spend ages lost in her thoughts, and she entertains many daydreams, and even more worries. She worries that she doesn’t know anything, and she kicks herself for thinking that she could ever assume that she was as smart as she is.

First Person: [She can't remember how she had gotten on this train. She stares out the window, brows furrowed as she tries to remember what had happened. She remembers Dirk, Jake, Roxy, Dirk’s head

She swallows, nervous and scared and unable to shake the feeling that something was horribly wrong. She has to get off of this train. She is up and out of this door as soon as the urge comes over her, and she stares around the station with barely contained awe. Had they succeeded? Were they in the game? If so, where was everyone else?]

Jake? Are you here? Dirk, Roxy?

[She calls out into the empty station, staring around. She hasn’t noticed anything new on her person, so she has no idea she’s currently being recorded.]

Anyone? This isn’t really funny, guys…

Third Person: The city never ceased to amaze Jane. She had done reasonably well at settling in (or, well, she certainly hoped she was doing well at settling in, but she had her doubts about precisely how well she was adjusting), but the city was so remarkably different from the life she had led beforehand. She had spent so much time locked up or caged into her home, but the suburb she lived in wasn’t anything like Ruby City. It was so large and sprawling, Jane thought it would be so easy to get lost and forgotten.

Though, the most unsettling thing about the city for Jane was how much freedom she had. Her father wasn’t there, and while she did miss him terribly, the freedom she had in the city was novel. She enjoyed it, for the most part, but it she couldn’t help but feel like bringing a bunch of minors to a city without their guardians was more than a little underhanded. Maybe she was thinking into it too much, but she couldn’t help but feel suspicious over their so-called captors’ intents by bringing children to this place. It was bizarre.

Jane was trying not to let it get to her, but it could be hard to go from living your life in one way to something so radically different. Not to mention that after everything that had happened, and everything she had seen beforehand made this experience all the more jarring. It was hard to forget the sight of your friend’s severed head, hard to forget dying and rocketboards and everything else that had happened. She couldn’t help but feel that Ruby City was a horrible, disgusting prank against the world and everything she held dear, and she had been thoroughly duped.

She would handle it, though. She would make it through any ordeal this place would throw at her, because she didn’t have a choice. She would survive, and as she walked through the streets she kept her head held high.

CHARACTER
Name: Dipper Pines
Canon: Gravity Falls
Timeline: post Summerween, episode 12
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:
"When life gives you lemons, extract the juice and use it to draw a treasure map in invisible ink. That really works! Seriously!"

Dipper could possibly be compared to a child version of Agent Mulder - no matter how bizarre a situation is, he completely believes it is happening and pursues it without hesitation. While he relies on his wits and resourcefulness, he's still just a little kid and sometimes it shows. He gets easily annoyed when he's told he's too young or not old enough and takes great offense to being called little anything. Despite this however he's extremely level headed and intelligent, having a lot more common sense than those in his immediate family and most of those around him. Wise beyond his years, he applies logic and planning to problem solving.

Despite of some of the kids normally his age, Dipper is actually pretty nice despite the fact that he can be selfish at times. He's quite sensitive, often taking things to heart while people might not mean what they actually say. He's neurotic, compulsively making a list on the idea that things will go his way if he follows a plan. There have been hints that he has a sacrificial lamb sentimentality, from the lamb costume he's made to wear to entertain the spirits in The Inconveniencing to the lamb shears Gideon tried using on him in The Hand That Rocks The Mabel. He'd do pretty much anything for his twin sister, even if she does irritate him. They're direct foils of each other, with Mable being the one more inclined to be silly than as straight laced as Dipper is (her silliness even helps them solve a mystery in Irrational Treasure).

Perhaps part of Dipper that stands out is his courage and recklessness. From the get go, he's constantly doing reckless things from driving a golf cart to rescue Mabel from gnomes that he believes are a zombie to feeling like he has to prove his manliness by training with Manotaurs. He's not entirely chivalrous, though he does often step aside to let someone else through first and definitely has plenty of nerve. The first thing Dipper learns in Gravity Falls is 'trust no one', but throws this to the wind and trusts in his twin sister Mabel. She is pretty much the only one he's loyal to other than the other members of the Mystery Shack family (Soos, Wendy and Grunkle Stan), but his berserk buttons are pushed when Mabel in particular is in danger. He does most of the work when it comes to solving the mysteries of Gravity Falls, and although he does seem to value fair play he's capable of fighting dirty and seems to have a fair amount of tolerance for everyone who isn't Robbie.

Dipper is not only smart, but he's the textbook bookworm, using logic to solve most of the mysteries and dramas happening in Gravity Falls, Oregon. He's very interestred in riddles, often refusing to sit still when puzzles, usually restless without something to do and almost always seen with Book 3 in hand. He's paranoid but not quite to the point where he wouldn't trust his sister despite what the words in the book say. He's also quite witty and intelligent, interested in learning about the mysteries of Gravity Falls and has head to toe creativity and genre savvyness. While he likes to think of himself as the leader out of the twins, Dipper is fairly resourceful. He created the shrinking and enlarging ray by taking apart an old flashlight and inserting the crystal, and took along seventeen cameras when he went to hunt for the lake monster with Soos and Mabel. He doesn't really have much ambition aside from wanting to solve mysteries, but he does have some cunning that helps him against his enemies.

Although Mabel is often the silly twin, Dipper isn't without his own humor, often providing snarky comic relief. He's a quick thinker, often working under stressfull and life threatening situations when faced with Gravity Falls' supernatural and when it looks like there's no way out he quickly finds a solution to the problem at hand. He tends to have small instances of insecurity and self doubt, needing to prove himself not only to himself but also to others, an example being in The Inconveniencing when he constantly tries to one-up anyone who questions his credibility as an almost-teen. In the end though, he's just a kid despite his smarts and wit.

First Person:
[The whole mess with the Summerween Trickster over, he had allowed himself to breathe a sigh of relief and go to bed like a normal kid. Knowing that you accidentally summoned a candy demon was, well, jarring to say the least. He likes to think he's smart for his age and, well, not to toot his own horn but he is. Living in Gravity Falls for the last month or however long it has been, you'd think he knows better than to brush off local lore, but a lot of things have gone wrong tonight. He's just glad he made up with Mabel for being a jerk.

Waking up on a train is not what he expects, and at first he thinks he's dreaming. And then he pinches himself and he isn't dreaming. Well great. There are a few dozen questions rolling through his head but at the moment the important thing is seeing if anyone is around after he steps off the train. Figuring out the watch-like device is easy, if not a bit of trial and error, but at least it looks like he has a way of communicating.

Who with...well, that's to be decided, isn't it?]

Is...is this thing on? Can anyone hear me? Hello? Mabel? Grunkle Stan?

Third Person:
Despite his first apprehensions about waking up in a strange place without anyone familiar around, Dipper had taken to living in the city quite well. Being a city boy (as much as he hated to prove Sheriff Blubs right, and he so hated to), he was used to city life, adjusting to it like he was just back home in Piedmont, California. But there was still a few important factors consider especially.

Number one was how much he missed his sister. Mabel could annoy him at times but she was the most important person in his life, that was for certain. She was his comfort, his rock with all her silly wisdom and a constant source of cheer when he was down. It was just unfortunate that it took nearly getting eaten by a candy monster to show him that. You only had one twin in your life, and there was no way he'd be letting Mabel out of his sight if she came to the city.

A small part of him hoped she wouldn't.

Number two was the fact that this city was filled with so many strange people. If Dipper had thought Gravity Falls had been full of weird, there was even more weird here. The book didn't say anything about trolls but he didn't think the ones back home would be strange space aliens, an example at the very least.

Number three was wondering how everyone back at Gravity Falls was taking his disappearance, if it was something noticeable. He liked to think he was a likable guy, at the very least one with a few friends under his belt. Still, if there was a way into this city there was a way out. Dipper just hadn't found it yet.

And if there was one thing Dipper prided himself on, it was figuring out a situation. Sure the city had eluded him so far but he was a thinker. He'd find a way. And even if he didn't, at least for now he had a roof over his head. He could deal with that.

CHARACTER
Name: Wyatt Cain
Canon: Tin Man.
Timeline: Just after Cain locks Zero in the tin suit, after being rescued by the rebel forces. (And after he’s already been in game for a short time. So he was back in the OZ for a while)
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?:This is my first Character.

Personality:
Wyatt Cain is a man of principles, which is how he had managed to become one of the OZ’s elite tin man, who was honoured with a position within the mystic man’s personal guard. As such, Cain is disciplined, authoritative, proficient in weapons, and is very used to being obeyed when an order was given.

Cain is also a family-man. Or at least was. He had a loving wife and a beautiful son. As the cruel princess Azkadelia stole her mother’s throne, Cain was one of many who had joined the resistance against her due to his strong belief in justice. While it appears that Cain had a strong background in the resistance for quite a while, he was inevitably discovered which caused one of Azkadelia’s men, Zero, to confront Cain. Zero and his contingent of long coats severely beat Wyatt Cain and stole his wife and child. What is most cruel about this is that they had recorded the scene, which after locking Cain in a life sustaining metal suit replayed the video on loop to him for approximately fifteen years.

This lead Cain to become rather distant, cold, suspicious and mistrusting to people when he was finally released from the suit by DG and Glitch all those years later. Despite their polite request to lead them to Central City, Wyatt coldly declined them, citing that he didn’t want to be saddled with some kid or a felon (It was common practice for a time where the worst felons had their brains removed to help rehabilitate them. A zipper along the skull was proof that this had been done to Glitch). However, when realising that they had every intention of going to Central City on their own even without their help, which would lead through the fields of the dangerous creatures known as the papae. Wyatt, with a great deal of resignation, agreed to lead them to the City. Showing that even after being shown a terrible part of his past repeatedly for years, the long coats hadn’t damaged his will or his desire to keep people walk into dangerous situations.

As Wyatt spent time with DG, Glitch and then shortly later with Raw he began to become more of his old self, going from a cold hearted man who gave up on caring, to the man who cares deeply for those he considers family. However, I feel it would have been a lot harder for him to connect with the other if he had never learnt that DG was the missing princess, and being ordered by the Mystic Man to protect her no matter what. However due to his direct speech and negative outlook, he was often teased by Glitch for being a grumpy man in need of some heart.

Wyatt had also learnt what had become of his own family, much to his grief his wife had died. That being said, he soon learnt that his son was alive and well. Not to mention he was also a leader in the resistance, a fact that causes Wyatt to swell with pride.

First Person:

[Wyatt looks at the watch for a long moment, turning it over in his hands looking at it from every angle, his eyes taking in every feature of it. He didn’t look the slightest bit impressed with it, or its apparent functions. He put it down on the table in front of him then looked it at some more. Without realising it, as he put it down he had managed to turn on to transmit. After looking at the face of the watch for a moment he stood up and walked out of view of the camera. After a few moment she came back, no longer wearing his hat or duster jacket. Once again he picked up the watch to look at it, turning it this way or that]

How did they even make this a communicator anyway? Wait, that does that...

[He pulls the watch closer to his face, to find that he is currently broadcasting. Then starts fiddling with buttons]

...How do I turn thi-

[The video cuts out as Wyatt manages to accidentally turn it off]

Third Person:
Wyatt looked around him solemnly. He had no idea how he had come to find himself on that train, nor why he had let himself be ushered off.

The last thing he had remembered was that he was with his son, the boy he had all but lost over fifteen annuals ago. He had also been with Glitch and Raw. They had all been preparing to get ready to find and rescue DG from her kidnapper.

He narrowed his eyes and looked around more, looking for faces he recognised, refusing to let any worry show itself. He gave up trying to tell himself that he wasn’t worried while on the train.

Clearing his throat he decided to make himself look a little ridiculous in hopes of getting a response.

“Jedd!? Glitch?! … Raw?!”

He lifted the brim off his hat and began to walk the platform. He needed to find them, find out where they were, and try and find their way back to DG before anything back could happen to her.

CHARACTER
Name: Cogsworth
Canon: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (animated canon)
Timeline: After Maurice is taken as the Beast’s prisoner, but before Belle comes to the castle.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: n/a

Personality: Cogsworth is the chief steward/major domo of the Beast’s castle. As such, his job (before the unfortunate incident that left him in his present state) was to manage (and micromanage) the Prince’s affairs. It fell on his broad shoulders to keep the castle running smoothly, and he demonstrates a strong sense of decorum and propriety. As a human, he kept a pocketwatch ever present on his jacket, as it was his duty to keep the castle running on time and on schedule. An example of his micromanaging tendencies is right in between “Something There” and “Human Again”, when he assigns all of the servants to make the castle gleam in order to facilitate a more romantic atmosphere for Belle and the Beast.

He is the stop having fun guy. He is the one responsible for telling all of the other servants what to do, and he does his job with gusto. It’s entirely possible that once upon a time, he actually did so effectively, and the other servants listened to him. However, the time spent under the spell has made many of the other objects/former servants complacent in their roles in the household, and Cogsworth’s power over them has weakened significantly. The only other servants he seems to have any kind of rapport with are Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, and Chip (mostly through Mrs. Potts).

His relationship with Lumiere could possibly be best described as brotherly. Even “bromantic”. His tense, severe personality is a perfect contrast to Lumiere’s free, laissez-faire nature. Even still, if he has one weakness to his personality it’s that he falls easily to the allure of flattery. Whereas he can become quite prickly and obstinate when confronted head to head, he caves easily when appealed to by use of either flattery or otherwise exploiting his interests, for instance immediately following “Be Our Guest” when he rebuffs Lumiere for suggesting giving Belle a tour around the castle, but relents as soon as Belle turns the question into an admiration of his own wealth of knowledge.

Although Cogsworth may show signs of intimidation and submit easily to the will of those who outrank him, he is far from a coward. When push comes to shove, he is a useful ally to have in your corner, as demonstrated by how he entered the fray in the battle for the castle and saved Lumiere’s life. At the canon point I’m taking him from, he hasn’t seen a human being aside from Maurice for ten years. Over the years, he has not been immune from the very complacency which has made the other objects all sluggish to respond to his authority, and at this canon point Belle has not yet arrived to turn the whole of the castle on its head. He will therefore be stubborn and obstinate and set in his ways, and particularly easily offended by those who may insist that he wasn’t every bit as human as the rest of them.

First Person: [He prefers to use the voice function, so that he can merely turn it on, set the watch down, and then pace about and dictate. It’s much easier than finding something to prop it up against were he to make a video, or using tiny metal hands to attempt to make a text post.

Too bad, too, because as he paces back and forth, he gestures wildly with his little metal arms.]

Well now, it seems that someone thought that they were being cute. Funny, perhaps? Oh ha ha, let’s all have a good laugh at poor old Cogsworth, he’s too short to reach doorknobs. Let’s close the door while he’s asleep and shut him in! Yes, that’s a splendid idea!

[He stops pacing and clears his throat.]

It may come as a surprise to some of you, but I’m less than amused. Whoever was responsible for this childish prank can just step forward and fix it posthaste, before I get truly angry! Did no one teach any of you any manners? Really!

[Sotto voce, more to himself.] I didn’t even have to put up with treatment like this back in the castle! Of course, it does make a difference when the doors can open and shut themselves...

Third Person: Cogsworth wasn’t sure where he was, or what was going on. The floor beneath his wooden feet rumbled, sending shivers through his body and making his gears rattle. He’d heard of these kinds of tremors in the earth before, but he didn’t think that they usually happened in France. When he looked up, he saw that the room he was in had windows, and more importantly that what was outside of those windows was moving past at an alarming rate. Soon enough, the view outside was obscured by what seemed to be a dense fog. To someone used to carriage travel at best and not even that for quite some time, the rumbling was a distinctly unsettling sensation.

Soon enough, the vibrations slowed down their frequency, as did the speed of the vague shadows moving past the window. Cogsworth wrung his hands and paced this way and that.

“Alright. First things first, I need to find out whatever this thing is, and whether it will take me back.” He scoffed. “I’m going to have words with whomever owns it, that’s for certain. Really! The nerve, taking a man from his home and putting him in this...this thing!” The more he paced, the more worked up he got, a frustrated ticking following his actions until finally the steel monstrosity rumbled to a halt underneath his feet, throwing him off balance. He shook his head and righted himself, staring up and out of the windows, until with a long, drawn-out creak, the doors slid open. He glanced around the room and felt a shiver go down his back. He waddled to the edge of the door, peering down at the seemingly vast gap between the behemoth and solid ground.

He had to leave the room. Somehow. He backed up a few steps and took off at a run, sucking in a breath and holding it as he jumped as high and as far as his little legs could carry him. He tripped and nearly fell through the gap, landing instead on his face on the cold, hard ground. “Eurgh...” he groaned, pushing himself up and peering around.

“Now then...where on earth am I?”

CHARACTER
Character Name: Cronus Ampora
Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: After his talk with Kankri
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: This is only to be used if are already playing another character from the canon you are applying for. For example, if you are apping Mario and you already play Princess Peach in the game, how will you handle their interactions without playercesting? Depending on your answer, you may be refused the character you are apping for.

Personality: Cronus is the second worst character in Homestuck by far.

Alright no, but he's pretty horrible. At first glance, he might not seem like the worst person you could meet. In fact, he even seems rather nice! Claiming to be a sensitive artist, Cronus is a nice, well meaning kind of guy. He understands your problems and can sympathise with them and is just overall there for you. No ulterior motives or anything!

That's what he wants you to believe, at any rate. The truth is that this is all very much an act, and the dude is actually pretty scummy. He's clearly only nice to get close to people and to lead into making inappropriate advances on them more often than not. Cronus is somewhat obsessed with filling his quadrants and having sex. It's clear that he wouldn't admit to it, but he is rather desperate in this regard and it shows through his interactions with people.

The thing about him is though, it's not his fault! It's other people's faults. He is very much based on the 'nice guy' stereotype, and he lives up to that by blaming other people for not wanting to be with him. He alluded to this multiple times throughout his appearance in the comic, and not only that but he also made inappropriate advances on Mituna captor, before proceeding to heavily victim blame and make Mituna feel bad for it. In fact, this conversation also revealed what a manipulative bastard and jerk Cronus can be. Not only is he a jerk, but it also showed what an ableist he is by the way he blamed Mituna and insulted him over his mental problems.

Really, his conversation with Cronus made a lot of things clear. Like the fact that he just has no personal boundaries what so ever and doesn't see anything wrong with violating people's personal space. As mentioned above, he even went as far as to make Mituna feel bad for being uncomfortable about it. And, going back to a point above, it also revealed more about how he tries to manipulate people through drama and lies to try and garner pity; the biggest example being threatening to commit suicide.

Cronus is a very dramatic troll in that regard. He plays up his feelings in a way to try and get people to sympathise with him. Most interactions with him involve talking about his feelings in a pretty dramatic fashion. Additionally, he also claims to be humankin; a human born in a troll body- specifically a 1950s human greaser. Whether or not this is genuine or a ploy to get people interested in him remains to be seen, though it seems fairly genuine given his discussion about it with Kankri, who enabled this behaviour.

He is also rather egotistical, another of his negative traits that he tends to hide under his ~nice guy~ facade. He claims that his blood colour is not a big deal to him, but the opposite is pretty obvious given the way he talks about it. The truth of the matter is he puts about as much stock in blood colour as most snobbish highbloods do and really does expect to be treated better for it. TL;DR he is a privileged jerk with no respect for other people, who really needs a punch in the nose.

History: Harry PotterCronus is the pre-scratch version of the Orphaner Dualscar and, like all of the pre-scratch trolls, was born on the planet called Beforus, the pre-scratch version of the Troll planet Alternia. Whereas Alternia was a ruthless and violent place, Beforus was much more peaceful in comparison and the blood caste system not nearly as bad. However, Cronus is still a rather privileged high blood at any rate.

According to Aranea Serket, Cronus was once a wizard, believing himself to have been born to defeat an evil wizard as 'the angels foretold'. It's said that he had a lot of faith in magic and that he was very dedicated to the job of being a wizard and defeating this evil one. It was said that he believed this wizard tried to kill him, though the spell backfired and left Cronus with the two scars he has on his forehead instead.

However, at some point in his life he lost his faith in magic completely. No one seems to know why, and Cronus certainly doesn't seem to volunteer the information readily. It can be assumed that since Ahab's Crosshairs is found in a chest near him, he switched his focus from magic to marksmanship as his main source of fighting.

He and a group of other trolls would then go on to play sgrub, with Cronus as the Bard of Hope. Of course they ended up losing the game and having to scratch it, though this wasn't done right away and they spent far longer in their null session than they actually needed to, during which there was a lot of romance drama. Cronus wasn't really a part of any of that, however, considering the fact he is a complete and utter failure at filling any of his quadrants.

In the afterlife of the dream bubbles, Cronus still wasn't successful in that regard. Certainly not after learning of humans and realizing he's humankin. Which is a thing he definitely did. In fact it's safe to say that Cronus has gotten worse at filling quadrants in death, having had the opportunity to try and perfect his nice guy facade and attempt to perfect his 1950s greaser persona., as well as his music. Which seems to be rather inappropriate and very offputting, if Meenah is any indication.

Strengths/Weaknesses: As shown by his personality, Cronus is a manipulative douchebag. This might not work on everyone, but if it does it can be quite effective. His weaknesses tend to outweigh his strengths however. His personality as a whole is a huge weakness, making it difficult to become close to people and get what he wants. Mainly, getting laid.
Abilities: Not much is really shown about Cronus's abilities. A chest a few feet away from him has Ahab's Crosshairs, which would indicate that he's proficient in the art of shooting a gun. Also he is the best at romance. Only not really.

Relationships to Canon Characters: His biggest relation would be with the other violet bloods; Eridan Ampora and Dualscar. Even then it's not a very close relation other than the fact that they are sort of related in the confusing sense that Cronus is the pre-scratch version of Dualscar, who is Eridan Ampora's Ancestor.

First Person: This post has several threads that hopefully meet the requirements!

Third Person: You would think that suddenly being dragged away from the only place he knew for years would have been an inconvenience. Something to be annoyed or angry at. And maybe in a way it was an inconvenience. But honestly? The perks definitely outweighed everything else.

How long, exactly, had he been stuck in that dream bubble with the same old people? Way too long, in Cronus's opinion, now that he was somewhere new. With so many possibilities. And what was even better was he was surrounded by humans. He was with his own kind! That part was pretty damn exciting, if he were honest. Especially since he was still dealing his confusion over the whole humankin thing. It would help with that and he was eager to learn more about them.

But honestly what really had him excited was the fact no one knew him in this strange place called Ruby City. If he played his cards right, he would certainly have better luck here than he did back in the dream bubble. He just had to be careful, he realized. But obviously it wasn't going to be an issue, because who wouldn't like him?

That's right. You couldn't not love him. Just look at all the swag he had. At least that's what he told himself. And he believed it, too. But only time would tell if he would ever actually have any luck here like he wanted to believe he would.

CHARACTER
Name: 26th Prince of Bengal Soma Asman Kadar
Canon: Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)
Timeline: After Chapter 74

If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?:

Neither Soma nor Undertaker ever interacted with each other in canon. They met once during the fake funeral of Sebastian, but didn’t show interest in one another. Should this ever change I’d choose to let them stay strangers.

Personality:

Soma used to be a self-absorbed, ignorant young man, quick to blame others for his problems. The reason he became this way was because of the neglect he received from his parents during his childhood. As one of 26 children, his father simply showed no interest in him and his mother tried to get his father’s attention. It left him lonely and under the care of a female servant, Meena, to whom he grew attached to, she was like an older sister to him. When she was “kidnapped” by an English Lord, he went as far as to travel to England with his servant Agni, with whom he shares a deep bond of trust, to get her back.

The prince didn’t change until he came to England and met Ciel Phantomhive, who he would later consider his best friend. After the prince had even lost Agni - if only temporary - and Ciel’s butler Sebastian forced him to face the truth, that Soma himself actually was the reason for all his problems and that it was his fault alone that he was being left by everyone important to him, he started to change. Soma then decided to work hard and accomplish things on his own to become a better man and be of use for his friends.

What didn’t change about the seventeen year old prince of Bengal is his naïve, cheerful and childish nature. Soma has shown kindness long before he came to England: when he met Agni and saved him from execution by declaring him his servant and thus granting him a new life. Having been sheltered from the world outside of Bengal and India he knew little about the world until he had traveled to England. A good example for his naivety is that he believes about everything he is told by Ciel, not noticing that he is being lied to by the boy. Another aspect of his is that he can be rather stubborn and annoying at times.

When he demands someone’s attention then he will be persistent until he is given said attention. He had done so with Ciel during the Curry Contest Arc and others as shown during the Public School Arc. The prince cares a lot about his friends and what they think of him. During the Noah’s Circus Arc he even tends the sick Ciel, ending up completely exhausted afterwards or doing the boy a favor in the public School Arc. It can be said that Soma would set the whole heavens and earth in motion in order to help them. Should there be something that’s bothering him he would speak his mind, even if it is unasked for, as shown in the most recent chapters. He would even state his opinion towards Sebastian, no matter how much the butler scares him – that is if he can hide behind Agni or Ciel.

If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: n/a

Personality: Norman likes being under the radar. He doesn't like sticking out and being noticed, because that usually means negative attention on him. His entire modus operandi is to make it through with as little confrontation or social interaction as possible. The unfortunate truth of it all is that, in his town, blending in is impossible. It's sort of an inescapable reality to a kid born with the gift of speaking to the dead. Ghosts, zombies, you name it. Norman is the ambassador between the physical and spiritual plane. The bad news is that it doesn't make you all that popular in school. Or at home. Or anywhere, really. Alienated by most of his town? Yep. Treated as a troubled child by his family? Check. Fiercely bullied at school? You bet.

However, in spite of that, Norman never treats himself like a victim. He doesn't cry about the way things are. Sure, he laments that he never asked to be born the way he was but does he try to deny his gifts? Hell no. He knows that he isn't normal and he has no intentions of trying to pretend otherwise. Even if all he wants, is to duck his head and get through it the best he can, he doesn't try to change himself to suit others. Unfortunately this attitude has led Norman to becoming a loner. Until recently, he saw no real need to make friends, feeling that once they get to know him, they'd just think he was a freak anyway. As such he's come to be very comfortable on his own, and prefers to just rely on himself.

Of course its a little different when he talks to ghosts. Where Norman shuts himself off to the living, to the dead he's perfectly cheerful and friendly. Going so far as to help his town ghosts with any little task they might ask of him. He knows this doesn't make his case better for the living, but the bottom line is that he doesn't care. Time and again, Norman's learned to value the company of the dead over the living.

But despite what seems like hostility and distrust, he does cares about other people and he has a strong moral sense of right and wrong. Even people he doesn't even like all that much, he'd never purposely harm, and even go so far to help in a dire situation. Given the opportunity to really show his stuff, Norman can also be very brave and determined, willing to risk his life for what has to be done. His sense of duty is also very strong and once he sets out to do something, he takes it very seriously. Really underneath that anti-social facade he puts up, Norman is just a lonely kid who's had to put up with a lot of pain simply for just being who he is. It speaks a lot, too for the sort of emotional strength that he has for someone so young.

The good news is, that after the events of the film, not only has Norman decided to open up, but the entirety of his town has realized that he wasn't faking for attention all this time, and basically saved their asses from a fiery doom by witch curse. While this means he's still pretty introverted, he's less distrusting and hostile to others and willing to talk and even make friends. During his confrontation with Aggie, Norman had to make peace with the part of him that bottled up all his anger and bitterness, realizing that if he held onto it like she had, then he'd eventually lose himself to his hate. By doing so, he'd become nothing better than the one's who've hurt him in the past. It's a hell of a revelation to have at eleven-years-old.

Of course, don't confuse Norman being nice and friendly with him being a push-over. He definitely still has a temper, and he will certainly call you out on being an idiot if he needs to. He's blunt and honest, and doesn't really sugarcoat things if its important. Otherwise, he's a sweet kid whose spent far too long being lonely and isolated.

CHARACTER
Name: Lancer (Cu Chulainn)
Canon: Fate/Prototype
Timeline: Shortly after Misaya tries to acquire Saber
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Lancer’s personality is very much like that of his FSN counterpart, only younger, stupider, and more idealistic. Lancer is a very rough and wild, but straightforward and carefree man. He is usually friendly and casual, even to his enemies. In fact, his personal philosophy is that one should drink until dawn with someone they get along with, even if that person would become the enemy in the morning. However, this does not change the fact that on the battlefield, all enemies to be killed mercilessly. Speaking of battle: he loves it. The reason he joined the army was so he could fight good opponents. However, it usually applies to single battles against talented warriors. Though he is quick to work himself into a frenzy when fighting, he has no interest in the mass slaughter during wars.

Though he refuses to talk about his alignment in terms of good or evil, he is a good person on the inside. He is rather naïve and impulsive, having not yet realized that the world is an unreasonable place and has an inherent balance of good and evil. He is often the first to rush into battle, as well as the first to physically discipline any thugs who harass innocent people. Despite being friendly, his impulsive and brunt way of speaking and joking around sometimes ends up hurting feelings unawares to him. This can be seen in his interactions with his Master Misaya, where he tells her that she has no good traits as a Master when compared with Ayaka, Saber’s Master.

He is an honorable man, having sworn to loyally serve anyone that becomes his Master. At the same time, he is a rebellious teenager who sometimes clashes with his Master’s personality or methods. Though he would never desert his Masters, he still has some problems taking orders that he dislikes, such as harming women or innocent people. On rare occasions, his personal sense of morality will override even his Master’s orders. But most of the time, he just complains about having to perform those tasks, as seen in his interactions with Misaya—when ordered to lure Saber to their side, he continuously complained that he wanted to go home. When he did speak to Saber, he did so in a rather roundabout and half-assed way that left Saber confused as to the purpose of Lancer’s visit. His honor is tied to his straightforward nature. He does not like lies or betrayal and is a man of his word, willing to uphold any oath that he swears, no matter how unreasonable, until his dying day. At the same time, he absolutely hates traitors and is easily stirred into a rage if he encounters them. His other dislike is convoluted plans, which conflict with his straightforward nature.

For all his impulsiveness, Lancer rarely has any regrets. In his view, what is done is done. Hope is for the future and miracles are for the living. Even if some tragedy befalls him, he would give himself sufficient time to mourn, but then move on and continue living his life as he likes it, letting his instincts guide him. This is, at least, what he would like to believe. In truth, some incidents in the past have severely traumatized him, and even if he does not want to, they sometimes come back to haunt him and drive him to try to prevent the tragedy from ever happening again. In canon, he swore to save Misaya from her curse at least partly because she reminded him of his teacher Scathach, who was trapped in a state between life and death due to a curse.

Lancer’s straightforward view also applies to his desires. He is not exactly a man known for his temperance, especially when it comes to women. He has had a long series of one-night-stands, though he has genuinely fell in love only very few times. He has a liking for tough girls, especially those who initially act cold or tease him, because they remind him of his teacher, Scathach. This attraction can be either romantic or simply friendly in nature, depending on the girl. His way of showing it usually includes lots of friendly teasing, though given the girls he’s dealing with, it usually earns him swift and painful repercussions. Ironically, he puts off sleeping with the girls he likes, preferring to get to know them first.

First Person:

[The feed flickers on, showing Lancer sitting on a bench in the train station.]

Yo. I’ll get right to the point here. Has anyone ever tried to take the train out of here before? If it arrives every evening at the same time, it’s just a matter of hopping on it after the new arrivals get off, right? What happens if you try that?

[He shifts the communicator to show the fog-covered tracks.]

They probably can’t drop an entire train into the catacombs. Hell, I’d be surprised if they had more than one train running in this place.

Third Person:

It had been days since Lancer arrived in this mysterious city. Days since he had to admit that it was no dream and that he was indeed separated from his Master. The initial confusion had passed, leaving anger in its place. How could he just remain stuck here? Misaya needed him at home. Every second that he spent here was a second wasted as Misaya’s time ran toward its limit.

He wants to smash his way out. If aimless wandering just led to him being lost in the catacombs, then he would just tear apart the entire town. Surely the forces that managed the city would be unable to hold him if there was no city to hold him in.

Of course, he has to find a good place to start smashing shit. After all, every bounded field has a center; a spot that served to create the spell. If that was found and destroyed, everything else could be easily obliterated as clean-up. He chooses to start with the clock tower first. It’s the highest place in the city, and magi seemed to like clock towers. If there was a core or something powering the city, there was the good bet it was here.

For the next several hours, other people who visit the tower will find Lancer carefully touching and sniffing all the tower structures to see if they hold any special properties.

CHARACTER
Name: Rodrigo Borgia
Canon: Assassin's Creed
Timeline: 1492, right after he was elected Pope (between the Battle of Forli / ACII: Discovery and the Bonfire of the Vanities).
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Rodrigo Borgia is a complicated character. He is a ruthless man working to gain power for himself, yet at the same time he is a Templar working for the greater good. More than a mere Templar, he is the Grand Master of the Templar Order. Of course, both his personal purpose and his purpose as a Templar work together well. Templars wish to make a new world. One of eternal peace without war or suffering- In a word: Utopia. Yet they hope to accomplish this by suppressing free-will and they do not hesitate to be cruel to reach their end. In this design, Rodrigo sees himself as the one bringing about this new world. He expects to obtain the power that will allow him to make such a world a reality. And of course, with that power he sees himself as the one reigning over the New World Order.

He is very ambitious and sees himself as 'The Prophet' mentioned in the prophecies written by Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad centuries ago. As such he thinks of himself as some sort of chosen one and sees it as only natural that he would be the one to reign over Italy (and maybe eventually, the world). Obviously for this to be achieved the ancestral enemies of the Templars must be exterminated: the Assassins. Rodrigo has worked to this end as well for a very long time. He nearly succeeded in wiping out a major family of assassins, the Auditore family. But Ezio Auditore escaped and managed to be reunited with his uncle alongside his mother and sister: his failure to completely wipe out this family will prove to be his undoing. In the end, Rodrigo created his worst enemy; he is the very source of his own demise.

Rodrigo is manipulative, patient and works with a lot determination. Words are weapons more deadly than swords when used by him. Whether his plots last one, ten or thirty years, Rodrigo will keep working to see them accomplished. The Templars' greater plan runs on centuries, millennia even. Rodrigo is aware that in order to succeed patience is a virtue. He also knows that relying on only one plan to see their purpose accomplished would be a mistake. In this sense he is a chessmaster, carefully laying out many plans which outcomes, as different as they appear to be, all lead to the accomplishment of his great plan. He never gives up and as a true chessmaster, does not allow his failings to break him. Instead he comes back with a new plan, a new back-up.

This can be seen throughout Assassin's Creed 2. Rodrigo planned to rule over Italy by having the leaders of each city killed and replaced by Templars under his control. Yet simultaneously he ran his plan to obtain the Pieces of Eden in order to open the Vault where he believes he will find God and obtain his power- Which if it is true would allow him to unify the world and rule over it. At the same time he took control of Rome and the Church while shaping his own family as a deadly weapon. All these plans work together and simultaneously act as back-up would one be to fail.
