APPLICATIONS

APPLICATIONS

Applications are processed weekly, every weekend. The cut-off time for the submission of applications is 11:59PST on Saturday.
✗ Before applying, please read the FAQ and Rules pages.
✗ Please submit your application with the journal you plan to use if you have one made already. If not, another journal is fine, but we prefer your intended journal so it makes for an easier time in granting access to the mod journal and the contacts page.
✗ For very long applications, we would ask you to please separate them into various comments so that they will not take up too much of the page.
✗ Please title your application as { [CANON/CANON OC/OC]CHARACTER NAME || Series Title || reserve/no reserve || X of X } in the subect header
IMPORTANT: Our application form was edited on September 07, 2015. Please use the revised form.
✗ If you are looking for an example of what an application should be like, please refer to the application here for an example of a canon character application, and here for an original character application.

A note for CR AU applications
Ruby City does allow previous game history/CR to be brought over on a case by case basis. If you want to include this in your application please add additional sections for PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT and PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY beneath the Personality and Background/History sections.

In these additional sections we would like to see a brief outline of your character's previous game history and how it potentially impacted on and altered their canon personality.

One of the good things about being a Servant is that Lancer has no need for a house. Honestly, what would he do with a house anyway? It wasn't like he needed to sleep or anything. Nights were spent like days, drifting in the streets, hoping that he would run into something interesting. He didn't have anything better to do. It was just about impossible for him to go home--all his previous attempts had ended in failure. By now, he had fallen into his usual pattern of behavior from before he was a Servant. And that was to explore the city in hopes of finding fun fights, cute girls, and a nice drink of a dozen.

When he did get bored, he just squatted down on a random roof and dozed off a while. He liked the cool breeze whipping against his face and the high vantage point that gave him a good look at the stars. It reminded him of home. No matter how much changed on the ground, the night sky remained the same. This was what he was trying to do today, if not for the presence of something unexpected.

"Caw."

That was the only warning he received before a black feathered. A better check would have told him that it was a crow, but at this point, he was too busy tumbling down the roof.

Another good thing about being a Servant was that he was too tough to die from just falling off a roof onto the pavement below. However, he had still slammed into it hard enough to make a big noise.

"Ow..."

He whimpered as he tried to get up. Just because it didn't kill him doesn't mean it didn't still hurt. After he sat up, he looked around, trying to see if a crowd had gathered or if the homeowner had come out to check the commotion. He didn't have any problems with telling the homeowner that he had been sleeping on the roof. After all, it was pretty much routine for Lancer. However, explaining why he had fallen off would be embarrassing.

Lancer winced when the door to the house started opening. Ah, shit. He might as well as get it over with.

"Yo. Guess you're checking up on that noise?
