APPLICATIONS

APPLICATIONS

Applications are processed weekly, every weekend. The cut-off time for the submission of applications is 11:59PST on Saturday.
✗ Before applying, please read the FAQ and Rules pages.
✗ Please submit your application with the journal you plan to use if you have one made already. If not, another journal is fine, but we prefer your intended journal so it makes for an easier time in granting access to the mod journal and the contacts page.
✗ For very long applications, we would ask you to please separate them into various comments so that they will not take up too much of the page.
✗ Please title your application as { [CANON/CANON OC/OC]CHARACTER NAME || Series Title || reserve/no reserve || X of X } in the subect header
IMPORTANT: Our application form was edited on September 07, 2015. Please use the revised form.
✗ If you are looking for an example of what an application should be like, please refer to the application here for an example of a canon character application, and here for an original character application.

A note for CR AU applications
Ruby City does allow previous game history/CR to be brought over on a case by case basis. If you want to include this in your application please add additional sections for PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT and PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY beneath the Personality and Background/History sections.

In these additional sections we would like to see a brief outline of your character's previous game history and how it potentially impacted on and altered their canon personality.

[Diablo III] F!Monk (Xin) | Part 5

[personal profile] poises 2013-05-25 10:52 am (UTC)(link)

Third Person:

Demons swarmed around Xin as she fought her way to the Crystal Arch. What had once been pure white marble floor was now charred from ash and flames. The Enchantress whom had followed the monk so readily was faltering at the horrors of war. She turned her head to glance at what her ally was so shaken up over. Two angels were chained to a marble column, their bodies slumped. They were dead, but the chains bound their bodies and souls together. Xin pursed her lips as she freed them and words of thanks echoed around them as their bodies quickly disintegrated. Now even angels did not dare tread their sacred grounds, but the Nephalem's resolve would not falter so easily.

Xin reached over to Eirena and gave the girl's shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Find your center--your balance--then you will have nothing to fear." Loud screeches and the hiss of sharp claws scraping against the ground did not bode well. "Peace comes from within." A runic pattern appeared below their feet, glowing brightly as it protected them from a cloud of arrows dipped in flames.

The monk dashed forward, striking the demons from all sides. It took only twenty-five seconds for her and the Enchantress to slaughter the demons. The blackened blood of man's worst nightmare was all that remained. Xin remained impassive as they began the final climb. Diablo was close--she could feel it.

A loud crack echoed in the air as vines shot up from the marble, curling around each other. They formed a cage, one that could not be broken so easily, and it held Eirena captive. "This is your fight now." Although Eirena tried, the cage was not an illusion that she could simply whisk away.

There was no time to free her. Anyone that possibly could was far away from the spire--or dead--like Leah. "The Gods strike through me."
It was a bold declaration, but the Nephalem felt a surge of excitement as she nodded to Eirena. "I shall return." Xin took the last few steps alone and with her head held high. Although the heavens were hung in black, the monk knew that it was her time to restore balance to this battered world. Nothing, not even Diablo would stop her from that task.
