APPLICATIONS

Applications are processed weekly, every weekend. The cut-off time for the submission of applications is 11:59PST on Saturday.
✗ Before applying, please read the FAQ and Rules pages.
✗ Please submit your application with the journal you plan to use if you have one made already. If not, another journal is fine, but we prefer your intended journal so it makes for an easier time in granting access to the mod journal and the contacts page.
✗ For very long applications, we would ask you to please separate them into various comments so that they will not take up too much of the page.
✗ Please title your application as { [CANON/CANON OC/OC]CHARACTER NAME || Series Title || reserve/no reserve || X of X } in the subect header
IMPORTANT: Our application form was edited on September 07, 2015. Please use the revised form.

A note for CR AU applications
Ruby City does allow previous game history/CR to be brought over on a case by case basis. If you want to include this in your application please add additional sections for PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT and PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY beneath the Personality and Background/History sections.

In these additional sections we would like to see a brief outline of your character's previous game history and how it potentially impacted on and altered their canon personality.

ooc; sorry about that! Hopefully this works out!

[ An anxious troll appears on the video feed. His horns are too big to fit on the screen, and he looks genuinely confused.]

Um, hello?

[ He begins fiddling with the communicator, his eyes scanning the screen with a small brown tinge to his cheeks. Jeez, what the hell is going on?

He picks the device off and to the side, but soon the video is upside down and a total eyesore for the viewer. After a few seconds, he scowls and decides to direct the network one last time before giving up completely. ]

I’m not sure if anyone can hear me, or anything. But, um, I could use a little help? Also— Vriska? Can you hear me? If you do, I’d really appreciate it if you answer me.

I mean- this whole thing was your idea anyway ...

CHARACTER
Name: Roberto
Canon: Suikoden Tierkreis
Timeline: After returning from Cragbark
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Roberto can be pretty well describes with the word tsundere - especially when it comes to Sieg. He has a hard time showing his concern and care for other people and often hides it with biting and slightly snark and rude remarks though his from time to time, the expression on his face give away his true feelings, like when his princess decided to join Sieg's army, Roberto commented on how he has to go along with the decisions of her and how he had to tolerate Sieg now, but looked completely happy about it. Roberto is also quick to raise his temper, when things go wrongly and he fully expresses his anger without any second thoughts, but he can be surprisingly levelheaded sometimes. One such a example would be when Sieg was getting all heated up that the leader of the Furious Roar didn't remember a member that was part of his clan, Roberto was the one who asked Sieg to back down.

Roberto also lacks a bit in the manner department when it comes to complete strangers, he doesn't make an effort to talk politely to them, like when he just met Moana and she was squealing about the princess of the Magedom, Roberto asked if she never shuts up. On the other hand, he can be very obedient when it comes to the leaders of his own country, Astrasia. He listens and obeys to all of their orders. He is also extremely loyal and dedicated towards them and his country and would pretty much do everything for them, as he loves those things dearly.

Roberto is also a very skilled swordsman and he is - with 16 years - the youngest member of the elite brigade from Astrasia, the Blades of Night's Veil. He has a lot of courage to back this talent up, as he wants to fight on the front lines quite often, but he doesn't let his talent raise towards his head, so one could say he is pretty down to earth. His strength doesn't come alone from his talent, though, as he had put a lot of hard work in his training eve since his country had been taken over by The Order. Despite his tsundere tendencies, he is able to reflect himself and feels increasingly bad when he realizes he made a mistake and wants to make up for it, for example when Roberto called Cougar, a 'beast man' a monster, he decided to accompany Sieg on a journey just to apologize to him. He also hates the thought of being indebted to anyone, so he often tends to refuse to accept help from anyone.

Roberto seems to do a lot of thinking when he isn't in battle and what is happening in their world or what their enemies might try to achieve and mentions once envy towards Sieg's behavior, who is just able to jump into situations without much thinking. Roberto is also very proud, which made him easily fall into the trap King Danash had set for the Blades as well as Sieg's army, as he compared the feats that had been accomplished in battle from either group, making Roberto see Sieg's army more as rivals rather than comrades.

First Person: [A young man with short, light brown hair, wearing a blue bandana and blue armor wanders through the streets. He looks less than pleased, actually, it looks like he is about to explode. A town - nice and fine, but so far he hadn't seen a trace of anyone he knew and it was nagging on his nerves. Once he reaches the bridge, he stops and his look follows the flow of the river.]

Damn, this is leading nowhere1

[He rams a fist on the railing to emphasize is anger.]

I need to get back to the castle of that idiot.

[He lets out a sigh. Well, stopping here would accomplish even less. Time to act like said idiot and continue searching. He starts walking again. Hopefully there were any leads somewhere.]

Third Person: Roberto stepped down from that strange, fast-moving thing. It wasn't the first time he has traveled to another world, so his surprise wasn't all that huge, but something was fishy about this. Firstly, he couldn't remember going through a corridor to reach another world. Secondly, he couldn't remember boarding such a strange thing.

The thing behind him departed again, leaving him a bit dumbfounded. If the corridor was in that thing, he was pretty screwed. He had no idea if it would come back or not, so waiting seemed to be the smartest thing, for now, at least. Not without some exploring, though. Perhaps he wasn't the only one here. He had just gotten back with Sieg from Cragbark after checking out what happened to the mountains - after all, a part of them had just disappeared. That brought another thought to him - Astrasia! He had o know if his country had been affected by the change of the area. There was no point in wasting time here.

His walking became faster - perhaps there was another entrance to the corridor - if he was lucky, but in and outside the house was nothing. Nothing except a sign that was welcoming him, at that. "Just what kind of nonsense is this!", Roberto crossed his arms, a clearly unpleased expression was gracing his face. He didn't really want to walk away in case the thing came back, but something told him he was going to wait a long time if he did hat. No, he had to search for the others. He started to walk away from the house to see what he could find out.

[CANON] THOR ODINSON || Marvel || Reserved || 2 of 3

[personal profile] worldsaway 2012-08-04 02:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Personality: Thor was raised in the kingdom of Asgard alongside his brother, Loki by the warrior and King Odin and his wife Freya. Despite being rivals for the throne, he and Loki grew up together as friends and playmates and loved each other as any brothers would.
From a young age he had aspired to be a warrior like his father. Values such as strength, courage, and loyalty have been close to his heart thanks to the culture of Asgard and the reputations of warriors. Thor has always dreamt as big as he talks. As a child, he remarks upon the many monsters he intends to slay when he is made king despite the uncertainty in regards to the throne.

Following through with his goals, Thor does indeed become a great warrior. It's known that he has lead The Warriors Three, Lady Sif and Loki into battle prior to the setting of the story. There have been times when said warriors have reminisced upon previous battles. Though, through Loki's memories, we can see that Thor was a reckless leader who will occassionally require the assistance (such as a smoke screen from his brother)of others to escape the messes he's made. However, it would appear that he prefers to rely on brute strength than trickery.
After putting it of for a long time, Odin finally prepares to make Thor the ruler of Asgard. Thor is particularly jovial at his ceremony. He struts down the stairs and across the floors, flinging about his hammer, Mjölnir, with ease. This earns him a few irritated looks but he remains plucky and proud all the same. He repeats his vows with confidence and pride, which makes the entrance of the frost giants all the more irritating.

The ceremony pauses when Odin senses the giants and the seriousness begins. Thor's immediate reaction is to insist upon battle. The frost giants have done wrong and they must be punished for it. When Odin refuses, Thor spirals into a tantrum. When Thor tantrums, tables are flipped and elaborate feasts are ruined. Loki, the one he seems to put the most trust into, quietly enables him into leading his band of warriors into a counter attack. Said attack doesn't go to the not entirely thought out plan. Thor nearly walked away without risking the lives of his friends, but one frost giant referring to him as a 'princess' was all it took to enrage him. Instead of flipping tables, he flips giants and a battle begins. The warriors are hopelessly outnumbered but Thor was too stubborn to pull back. Finally, it was Odin who broke apart the fight and brought home a dishevelled band of warriors. Understandably, Odin was a little cheesed off at his eldest son, and by a little I mean he was infuriated. He stripped Thor of his armor and took Mjölnir into his own hands. Using the powers of the bifrost, he tosses Thor into Midgard, also known as Earth. He hurls his hammer after him, uttering "Whoever wields this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."

Upon crashing into Midgard, Thor meets Jane, Darcy, Eric and the side of a car. Mistaking his frantic yelling for frazzledness, they take Thor to the nearest hospital, which only serves to confuse him. Befuddled by Midgard culture, Thor does not take well to the customs and mannerisms. However, Jane, who had been studying the wormhole he fell out of, finds him fascinating. After feeding him, they part ways. Thor attempts to retrieve his hammer and Jane discovers her research is being taken from her. Hitching a ride with the young woman and her companions, he hunts down his hammer after tossing a few mortals about. Unfortunately, Thor has not learnt his lesson yet and he is not worthy to wield Mjölnir.

He is later taken by Coulson for questioning after comprimising a surprisingly large amount of men, but he refuses to speak. This is probably due to the fact that half of the questions mean nothing to him, but Coulson doesn't know that. Giving him a moment to think, Coulson leaves the room and Loki enters. Thor is excited to see his estranged brother but is greeted with coldness. Loki bears grim news, which is of course a lie, about the death of Odin. Shattered and ashamed, Thor is now a little less irritated and a lot more pensive. He farewells Loki, who has already vanished, and Coulson enters to see him acting just a bit stranger than he was before. At this point, Slevig saves his butt by lying about his identity and the two bond over some manly drinking before he returns to bond with Jane over science and magic. Despite the sadness he has faced, he is begining to learn and grow out of the childishness he'd become accustomed to.

Thor greets the day with a much more chipper attitude and then greets his friends, the warriors, who he is a little confused to see. He learns that Loki has lied to him, and it would appear he is unsure of how to feel. He doesn't have much time to brood, though. Loki had sent a Destoyer to, well, destroy Thor. In his weakened state, he is not much help in defending Midgard or his allies. So instead, he offers himself up as a sacrifice with a confused but genuine apology to his brother. Loki seems to hesitate, but takes him up on the offer and the Destroyer sends Thor flying. Jane refuses to leave the side of the now dying Thor, but it would appear that he is accepting his faith in a much braver fashion than he ever could. Now that he has proven himself worthy, Mjölnir seeks him out. Reunited with his weapon, he is able to fend of and destroy the destroyer (that joke will never get old). However, he cannot linger in Midgard when something is going down in Asgard. He parts with Jane after insisting that Coulson return her research. By the end of it, he's earnt himself a kiss.

Upon his return to Asgard, he seeks out Odin but instead finds his mother and Loki. Thor is quick to point out the lies Loki had been spreading. The two exchange bitter words, but Thor refuses to fight his Brother. His compassion is rewarded with a trip through a wall and Loki scuttles off to the Bifrost to finish his job. With his new-found compassion, Thor could not allow Loki to kill off all of the frost giants. This is a notion that enrages Loki and the two begin to fight. In order to protect all of the nine realms, Thor must destroy the rainbow bridge and thus the bifrost. He sacrifices his ability to see Jane in doing so and commits a selfless act. On top of this, the collapse of the bridge very nearly causes both he and his brother to plummet into space. Despite all that he has done, Thor refuses to let Loki fall, however even with Odin's help, he cannot keep Loki from allowing himself to fall.

The days after that are melancholy, but Thor is a changed man...god with a new lease on life. He mourns the loss of his brother and he seems to pine for Jane in his own way. Even though he possessed the power to see her again, it would appear he did not return until his brother began to wreak havoc on Midgard (which he is quick to announce is under his protection). However, he had not come to Midgard with the sole intention of protecting it. He seemed more than determined to talk his brother out of his plans and take him home where Thor believes he belongs. He snatches Loki from the hands of Ironman, Captain America and Black Widow because he believes he should be the one handling this.

Unable to understand where Loki is coming from or why he feels this is necessary, Thor maintains that Loki is still the brother he grew up with and has faith in him up until the final scenes of the movie. During said movie, Thor learns to work on a team of people he's not sure he likes and plays the hero card several times. He swoops in to protect Black Widow from the Hulk and even attempts to talk Bruce down from his rage until he realises it's not working. He takes care to make sure Jane is safe and feels guilt for the danger he brought upon Erik and the entire world, which he makes up for by protecting it. Once again, he makes a sacrifice and returns to Asgard with Loki and the tesseract in tow. He loves Midgard, but Asgard will always come first to him. He cannot linger when there is work to be done back home.

All in all, Thor is a strong willed sort of guy with a heart of gold who is willing to make sacrifices for what he knows is right. He protects not only who and what he loves, but people and places he hardly knows. He's rarely quick to pass judgement on others, in fact, he prefers to give others a second chance. This may be because he can see that even he has changed from a rebellious young prince with nothing to lose to a soon to be king with the world on his shoulders. Despite his past mistakes, he's honestly trying to better himself, but even he needs to let off some steam.

He enjoys a good fight, but the damage in the end generally out weighs the fun he had in battle. He's begining to see things more in perspective as he takes more responsibilities onto himself. He expects as much from himself as he does from everyone around him and he's always pleased to meet a fellow warrior, even if they do things differently. Once you are an ally to Thor, you are a friend to Thor and he will work to protect you as he would any other. Similarly, he still hopes for the good in his brother. He believes one day, it will be Loki seeing things in a better perspective and it will be Loki changing from his past mistakes. It takes more than a knife to the gut to cut family ties, but a few betrayals will certainly get to you in time. He's still optimistic, but the actions of his brother have hardened him a little over time. It is difficult to trust someone, even when you love them. Just as it was difficult for Odin to send Thor away. However, if Thor was able to grow from his journey, he believes anyone can. As he tells Loki, if you believe yourself above others, you miss the point of ruling. Thor has been humbled in his travels and he has seen great strength in people he would have looked down upon before. He can see the potential for greatness in many and he will strive to encourage it and protect it. It's his strength, courage and faith in others that make him a valuable member of The Avengers (even if he is, for lack of better words, worlds away) and a man who will make an excellent King.

[CANON] THOR ODINSON || Marvel || Reserved || 3 of 3

[personal profile] worldsaway 2012-08-04 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
First Person: [Thor is sort of getting the hang of this communicative device. Though it is a little small for his tastes, it's not the most complicated thing to figure out. Certainly not the hardest thing he's ever had to deal with. There's a brief, warm sort of smile as he greets the feed with a nod but it's quick to fade into a more serious expression. Thor may be a friendly sort of guy, but he knows when to get down to business.]

So, it's been made fact that we cannot escape from our...creative prison. [He flourishes a hand toward the background of the feed.]

However, that does not mean we cannot work together in some fashion. Even if we cannot promise an escape, perhaps it would be wise to consider a means of taking care of each other. I've knowledge that my midgardian comrades are among the captured here, however, I am curious as to whether there are heroes of other realms residing alongside us. Make yourself known to me, and we can become allies.

That being said, I am willing to believe even the most wretched of evil doers have begun to shine in such dark times. [He smiles, just a little as he continues onward, giving the feed a knowing look.] Now is not the time for revenge, now is the time to put the past behind us and work together. Regardless of our wrong doings. That is..if you are willing. [It seems as if that is directed at one person in particular, but he continues to make it a public announcement.]

Third Person: Thor is no stranger to foreign realms. He's ventured from Jötunheimr to Álfheimr in his conquests and travels. However, no realm had ever befuddled and bewildered him in the manner that Midgard had. The inhabitants, though not particularly striking in appearance (the silks they wore were another matter entirely) were curious in their actions. Hailing from a realm of Godly warriors in which he was paid the respect he deserved, the casual tone the mortals took to him always rendered him speechless.

However, in the strangest way, their dialect was endearing. While Thor struggled to talk down to the allies he respected, he had always tried to pick up new words. Never afraid to ask questions, he was begining to catch on to the culture of Midgard. He found the answers to his questions deeply rewarding, for mortals had always seemed so pathetic and low from afar, now that he had walked among them he had come to appreciate both the simplicity and the innovativeness of their creations.

A small, rectangular pastry. Who new the wonders such a small package could hold? Thor had never tasted such a sweetness in all of his years of eating. Popped tarts, as he believed they were referred to, are an expression of the mortal's ability to create their own magic with such unrefined skill.

Though a part of him yearned to reveal the secrets of Midgardian inventions to his fellow warriors of Asgard, he did not want curious and hungry travellers to flock to the realm under his protection. He has learnt the consequences of such actions. Of course, if he had managed to bring back a single box, surely Volstagg would take it from him. A pity.

He sighs and drapes his arms over the ledge of his window, gazing over his eternal priority, Asgard. He knows full well there are things far more important than sweets that cause him to yearn to visit the realm of Midgard again.

Re: Homestuck || Jake English || Not Reserved || 2/???

[personal profile] kringlefuck 2012-08-05 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Personality:

A really popular misconception of this character is that he is drop dead suave and a heart throbber; he knows exactly what he is doing to those interested in him and takes pride in it. While it is true, for one reason or another,  that there appears to be several characters to show an interest in Jake romantically, he really isn't the smoothest talker. In fact, he's rather clumsy and unaware of things. Jake is rather oblivious to some of the most evident things, having looked over hints Dirk had dropped before concerning him being from the future, or any sort of flirtations by people. In any case, Jake's echeladder has titles such as: One Tomb; Too Many Suitors, Cupid's Crosshair Candy, Sharkbait Heartthrob, Hunk Rumpus Buster and Beau Skylark.
But anyway, it's obvious Jane has sort of a thing for Jake as well, but cowards out on confessing to him and encourages Jake to pursue Dirk instead. He describes his relationship with Dirk as "bestest bros" and "wouldn't mind exploring the waters." Because of this, it's fair to say Jake has a wishy-washy sort of personality. He's never certain about one thing or another and just sort of goes with whatever in most cases. While romance is an interest of his, his mind is usually elsewhere. As of yet, Jake seems to have a massive crush on Aranea and is uncomfortable with reciprocating any feelings for Dirk, but also has a long standing thing for Jane too. This all points to Jake is very cautious with his choice for a girlfriend.. or boyfriend. It really goes hand and hand with his careful personality anyway.

As mentioned, though, his mind is typically elsewhere. Elsewhere being adventuring or nerding out over comic books or movies. It should also be noted here that he aspires to be an archaeologist and uses most of his time exploring his island, so adventuring is very, very cool to him. He even owns a Tomb Raider belt buckle with matching leg holsters, but alas, his shorts are too long for him to wear them properly. If there is one way to get Jake's attention, it's mentioning an adventure or exploring of some kind. He claims he doesn't really have time to even use Wikipedia or use proper grammar/syntax cause he's a busy guy and "has an adventure to get on with", quote. I should also say he has some weird obsession with skulls.

Jake is a really big nerd. Rather adorable, but very nerdy. He doesn't really seem to openly brag about his impressive collection of comics or movies, but it's obvious he has a stash since he brings up movies and comics a lot, often referencing them.
It's mentioned he especially likes comic books with spider girls in it or movies with cerulean ladies. What he's fascinated with is rather peculiar due to his eccentric personalty and possibly because he didn't have much social interaction growing up besides those he chats with. He's rather energetic and boisterous and possibly a bit of a "ham" who always seems to be on the go. There really isn't much of an explanation why he's so active, but it's certain that it's sort of difficult to calm him down once he gets riled up. One theory for his energy could be the fact he's used to keeping himself entertained since he has nobody else to communicate with in person. This also could explain why he talks with a very odd mix of words and syntax, some of them made up on his own.

Accompanied with being loud and boisterous, he gets flustered very easily, which can essentially lead to something I'll call here a flip out. It's happened several times in the series that he'll type in all caps and draw words out during these flip outs, or start to get embarrassed and sweaty when discussing a topic that is inappropriate or makes him feel nervous. He can get nervous easily. He has a tendency to yell without really thinking about what he's saying, especially during one of these skittish flip outs.

Jake does try his best to be polite and kind to strangers, especially women, but is very much a ruffian otherwise. In fact, he has enough guts to deck a lady if need be, as demonstrated when he attack Meenah in some of the most recent parts of the story, thinking she was the Condesce. Piggybacking on that statement, Jake really does enjoy brawling, probably more than he ought to. There's nothing like a good session of "fisticuffs", and he can sometimes invite himself into a fight without really meaning to from the start. Something about it is enthralling to him, and he would be the one to start a strife or challenge another first. He'll take up the sword, so to say, and plan to be the Blockbuster action hit movie hero, though he just kind of comes across as a major tool. Either way, Jake doesn't really seem ashamed of who he is and can be called a very free spirited individual.

He's very alert and overly prepared for anything. Like any normal person, he has five computers and fetch module in a puzzle form which means he can inventory as much as can properly fit. Given these thoughts, Jake is a packrat and possibly feels exposed or vulnerable when he doesn't have absolutely everything he needs for something. He even has pieces of his former house in his inventory for nostalgic sake. However, one thing he certainly won't leave his room without would be his two M9 Berettas which were a gift from his grandmother as inheritance. This sort of wanting to be prepared complex that he has must come from always being on high attentive considering his island is very dangerous, and he has a sparring robot partner that is also on the hunt for him when he leaves his room.
Jake is open about his interests to everybody without too much of shame. Whether it be about what he's passionate about, like girls associated with the color blue, or guns, or movies; he really doesn't stop and consider how awkward the conversation is getting, and neither does he really care that much. He can be very apologetic for anything that may seem out of line, especially when addressing a new person. Really, new introductions can be very sophisticated and painfully gentleman-like depending on his mood at the time. He will often apologize in advance, somewhere in the back of his wild mind that he's about to say or do something stupid.

Even with him being oblivious and hard to catch onto things, Jake does have a certain amount of untapped potential being a Page of Hope and all of that. He's had his share of brilliance and shown intelligence in ways he didn't think he subconsciously knew.
All things given, Jake is rather kind if you don't come across as dangerous. He can be insecure when meeting new people, but he's sweet to his friends. He seems to also get picked on and has a pretty good attitude about it without being too defensive.

Jake's handle is golgothasTerror, and his typing quirk can be read about here

[ Upon arrival, the only thing he could really think about was her. Her. Where did she go? Who was she? How could he get in contact with her again? The sludge and whole waking up on an unknown train was enough to make his anxiety sky rocket. He felt exposed and unprepared, and one could say he was actually freaking out right now. Still disoriented from everything, Jake seems to disregard everything else besides her. She was the very last thing he remembered, and he wasn't sure what was going on. Figuring out how to work the pocket watch to a text was a simple thing. He was sheltered and naive, but he certainly knew his technology, especially owning 5 computers. He sends out a text to anybody, anything, and makes it sound urgent (only after properly changing the color to correctly identify himself to others). ]

Third Person: The heat index might as well be labeled as stupid degrees Fahrenheit with how hot it seemed outside. The occasional breeze provided by the palm trees overhead provided some relief when it cast over his tanned form, combat boots crunching the dry ground where he stepped. Jake swatted at a mosquito that resided on the back of his taunt neck, pressing his chipped nails inward as a slight hum passed through his lips. He was especially keen on his reflexes today. It had been days since he had last seen his sparring counterpart who seemed to be playing mind games with him. It would appear that the robot favored his closest comrade a bit too much; Jake wasn't entirely sure how he could even handle two Striders and an auto-responder as it was. Somehow he did; clearly he was out of his wits, but that was something he was naturally. Out of his wits.

The skitter caused by a small reptile causes Jake to practically flip his shit, leaping rather comically to the side and firing a single shot from one of his drawn pistols. Smoke flourishes into clear, and Jake blinks, still suspicious of the bush next to his side. He grits his teeth harshly, "I know you're around here, and by Jove, I'm not going to simply retreat when I've gotten this flippin' close to finding you, and I will get'ya, lickity-split--" Jake mutters under his breath as he brings the side of the pistol to his lips. He holds the gun close to him, lips pursing slightly as he inches further into the brush.

Emerald eyes, spiraling with determination, dart behind rectangular specs as he ignore a bead of salty sweat dripping from the corner of his thick brow. Jake huffs out a gust of air as he picks up his pace to a jog, knowing these grounds like the back of his hand. There's a log that's down over there to his right; he's sure of that. And it leads over a crevice in the earth off to a path that locates itself to a ruin. Easy as pie. There wasn't a spot of confidence missing from him that he didn't know his homeland by heart. Jake crawls over a boulder, which he knew was coming, and leaps into the bushes, probably more dramatically than he needed to. And so he rolls, further into the bush as he turns a trip up into a barrel roll.

Smooth.

He also was humming the Mission Impossible theme while doing so. The boy had to keep himself driven somehow. Jake adjusts his glasses before picking up his jog again. The hunt was on and he was determined to wrestle the robot and give himself a victory. He wasn't going to let his backside get royally kicked once more.

"Of all the blasted things for him to program him to do, it just had to be stealth mode--" A beat. Jake lifts himself up and rubs his forehead with the back of his head before muttering to himself, "--I really don't fancy stealth mode all the friggin' time, but he's too darn fast for me to fix that."

Something goes off in his pocket, which happens to be his mobile. It seems somebody was pestering him. They had a tendency to pester him at the worst and intense times. Jake, however, stops everything he's doing and rests against the tree entirely, pulling out his phone and texting whoever was pestering him back. It was almost planned how often this happened, as if Brobot and his friends were teaming against him.

He didn't even notice the pair of red eyes watching him carefully from the tree, slowly targeting the boy in silence.

[ Where did she go? Who was she? How could he get in contact with her again? ]

[ Feels exposed and unprepared, and one could say he was actually freaking out right now, but also feeling disoriented. ]

[ Also seems to disregard everything else besides her. She was the very last thing he remembered, and he wasn't sure what was going on. He had already figured out how to work the pocket watch to a text was a simple thing. Jake sends out a text to anybody, anything, and makes it sound urgent (only after properly changing the color to correctly identify himself to others). ]

Holy cheese and crackers! Where the devilfucking dickens is this?? Ahoy there! Respond asap!! THIS IS AN URGENT MESSAGE TO ANY PERSONS WHO ARE RECEIVING. THOSE WHO HAVE EYES AND CAN SEE AND PROPERLY READ SHOULD CONTACT!! I dont mean to alarm anybody or anything who may read this so i beg of you to not get your knickers in a right bundle! IN CASE YOU HAVENT NOTICED WEVE BEEN KIDNAPPED! HOODWINKED BAMBOOZLED AND HIJACKED INTO SOME MYSTERIOUS M NIGHT SHYAMALAN FLICK!! As ace and invigorating as it sounds forgive my botherations here whilst i send out an SOS to locate a certain person in this location..

Right so here it goes! All im needing to know right now is if shes here! The proper cerulean spider-chick undead damsel i was having a conversation with!

Well not exactly a conversation but we exchanged a smoldering glance at one another it couldnt have happened any more romantically than how it did.
IF YOU ARE HER I WOULD SIMPLY LIKE TO APOLOGIZE GREATLY FOR MY DUMBFOUNDED EXPRESSION AND LACK OF WORDS TO CONVEY. I am typically quite the dashing chatterbox so excuse my mess!
Phew.
*Gently withdrawals a kerchief to*
Aw jeeze louise. Looks like i dont have that on my person either! What the actual deuce???

[ Doesn't question where any of his friends are or anything else. He was appearing rather intent on finding whoever it is he is looking for... even more so than asking where he is and how to get back home. ]

Third Person:

The heat index might as well be labeled as stupid degrees Fahrenheit with how hot it seemed outside. The occasional breeze provided by the palm trees overhead provided some relief when it cast over his tanned form, combat boots crunching the dry ground where he stepped. [ There's a bit of shuffling around. He hadn't done a video post to the network yet, so let's see here. Pushing some buttons a messing around a little until he pulls his communicator back. He's in his quarters. ]
Haa-haaa! By Jove, I think I've got this! Ah, sweet Jesus christmas, this thing is already streaming? To the entire network? Aw, god!

[ A bit frantic, he runs a hand through his hair a little before clearing his throat. He's got a peculiar accent, sounding more Australian than anything. ]
Right. Erm, yes. Aloha to my dearest victims aboard this spacecraft! This is Jake English speaking. Perhaps there is the off chance that you and I have exchanged text messages one another. I am the bearer of the rather ridiculously green text that has just recently been witnessed amongst those in the network. Those who have had the fortune to say a howdy-doo to me and possible engage in interactions with me, we meet again and here I am in the flesh and bones!
Dapper as hell, am I correct? Ha haha. Naw, I'm joshing.

A bit.

And those you haven't, I greet you with the utmost pleasure and I dare say, it would be certainly an enlightening experience to get to know the lot of you even more. In any case, what brings me to this network stream so close to whence I first arrived is the fact that I am in dire need of some supplies. I'm not readily prepared as I am comfortable with, carrying merely two loaded pistols: Beretta M9s. And true enough there are those who "have my back" so to say, there are just some things I feel naked without.
The things I need are very, very important to my being and I would be much obliged if there any sort of freaking way I could knick, borrow or somehow even have for keepsake the items listed here. If you have any of these things and wouldn't mind parting with them, I would fucking love you. Uh.

[ He wipes off his brow with his thumb, ducking his head a little. ]
My deepest apologies if that sounded out of line or a bit forward and excuse me if this comes off as a botheration to anybody who is listening, but the generosity of others would be extraordinary appreciated.
Considering the amount of different characters we have here, I'm going to list things that are likely improbable, but it is worth a friggen' shot.

A leg holster capable of holding my type of gun.
Bonus points if there are *two* and resemble that use in the lara croft tomb raider movie.
Any sort of movie from earth especially action packed movies,
that possibly have blue tinted women in it.
A pair of shorts that rise yea high approximately six inches above the knee,
And fit that of a near sixteen year old male.
Explosives.
A computer.
Combat boots in a size 10 mens.
A t shirt.
Brass knuckles.
A swiss army knife.
A handkerchief *ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT.*

I'm not sure how I could repay the debt for any of these things should it occur that anybody happens to have these items, but I'll do anything to get them. As alarming as some of these items may seem, I assure you it for nothing more than to calm my nerves and be used for self defense and security.
Get back to me and give me a holler.

[/ end feed.
Note; If this isn't what you guys want just go ahead and decline cause im a dork and still not sure what I'm doing wrong, lol. ]

Personality: Roberto's most outstanding feature is probably that he has a hard time to talk about how he truly feels - especially when it comes to Sieg, of whom he had a rather low opinion at the start but started to respect him during the course of their journey. He has difficulty to show his concern and care for other people and often hides it with biting, slightly snarky and rude remarks - though from time to time, the expression on his face gives away his true feelings, like when his princess decided to join Sieg's army, Roberto commented on how he has to go along with the decisions of her and how he had to tolerate Sieg now, but looked completely happy about it. Generally, Roberto is quick to raise his temper when things go wrongly and he fully expresses his anger without any second thoughts, but sometimes he can be surprisingly levelheaded. An example would be when Sieg was getting all heated up that the leader of the Furious Roar didn't remember a member that was part of his clan, it was Roberto who asked Sieg to back down.

Roberto also lacks a bit when it comes to manners when he encounters complete strangers. He doesn't make any effort to talk politely to them, like when he just met Moana and she was squealing about the princess of the Magedom, Roberto asked if she never shuts up. On the other hand, he can be very obedient when it comes to the leaders of his own country Astrasia. He listens and obeys to all of their orders. He is also extremely loyal and dedicated towards them and his country and would pretty much do everything for them, as they are very important to him.

Roberto is also a very skilled swordsman and he is - with 16 years - the youngest member of the elite brigade from Astrasia, the Blades of Night's Veil. It shows he has a lot of courage to back up this talent, as he is someone who wants to fight on the front lines quite often. He doesn't let his talent go towards his head, so one could say he is pretty down to earth. His strength doesn't come alone from his talent, as he had put a lot of hard work in his training ever since his country had been taken over by The Order. Despite having trouble in expressing his emotions, he is able to reflect himself and feels increasingly bad when he realizes he made a mistake and wants to make up for it, for example when Roberto called Cougar, a 'beast man', a monster, he decided to accompany Sieg on a journey just to apologize to him. He also hates the thought of being indebted to anyone, so he often tends to refuse to accept any help or complains about receiving it.

When he isn't in battle Roberto seems to do a lot of thinking about what is happening in their world or what their enemies might try to achieve and once mentions envy towards Sieg's behavior, who is just able to jump into situations without much thought. Roberto is also very proud, which easily made him fall into the trap King Danash had set up for the Blades as well as Sieg's army, as he compared the feats that had been accomplished in battle from both groups, making Roberto see Sieg's army more as rivals rather than comrades.

Damn, this is leading nowhere! What do I need this river for!

[He rams a fist on the railing to emphasize his anger.]

I need to get back to the castle of that idiot. We have to talk to the Princess...

[He lets out a sigh. Well, stopping here would accomplish even less than searching around.

Secondly, he couldn't remember boarding such a strange thing in the first place.

The thing behind him departed again, leaving him a bit dumbfounded. If the corridor was in it, he was pretty screwed. He had no idea if it would come back or not, so waiting seemed to be the smartest thing - for now at least - not without some exploring, though. Perhaps he wasn't the only one here. He had just gotten back with Sieg from Cragbark after checking out what happened to the mountains - after all, a part of them had just disappeared. That brought another thought to him - Astrasia! He had to know if his country had been affected by the change of the area, considering his native country just lied north of the mountains. There was no point in wasting time here.

His walking became faster - perhaps there was another entrance to the corridor if he was lucky, but in and outside the house was nothing. Nothing except a sign that was welcoming him, at that. "Just what kind of nonsense is this!", Roberto crossed his arms, a clearly unpleased expression was gracing his face. He didn't really want to walk away in case the thing came back, but something told him he was going to wait a long time if he did that. No, he had to search for the others. He started to walk away from the house to see what he could find out.

Personality:
The first thing anyone should know about Michael is that he is an angel. THE Archangel Michael, and as far as angelic names go, they can actually give you a good idea to what the being is like. Michael’s name is a query that asks ‘Who is like God?’ It is a rhetorical question, being that no-one is like God save for God himself, and it also denotes humility. Michael demonstrates this with commentary throughout the game, such as when he pays compliments to the murals of the Archangels in the Watcher’s Tower, with the exception of himself. He makes only a comment of how this must be the way humans view him.

When speaking with lower-ranked angels; he acts as though they are good friends, and, when interacting with humans, he gives them the respect he believes they deserve—which is all of it, in his opinion. He does not have low-self esteem; he just knows who he is and what he is capable of, but he feels uncomfortable overstepping his bounds.
Funnily enough, given that Michael is a sort of ‘mouthpiece’ for God’s will, and a sort of Leader of the Archangels, if anyone is ‘like God’, it is Michael himself. He would never admit to such a thing, though, and this is the reason why he was the best replacement for Lucifel as the leader of the Archangels.

Being the mouthpiece of God’s will, he is nearly always privy to God’s plans, and he’s really rarely flustered when something unexplainable or inconvenient happens. If he’s stuck somewhere on Earth, for example, and can’t make it back to Heaven, he believes there must be some reason for it. If he wasn’t supposed to be there, he wouldn’t be. Depending on the situation, many people can find this either unnerving or comforting; as he’s the type to always be calm and collected in cases like these.

Michael wasn’t always interested in the human world—and really only curious at best. With regards to Enoch, Lucifel didn’t understand why God wanted to give such a heavy job to a human, and Michael would only sympathize with this. He was curious to the potential humans have, and though he would attempt to aid Enoch to adjust to his new life, he wasn’t very good at it. He just didn’t understand why it would be so hard for a human to take so long to adjust. This is simply because Angels do not have empathy like humans do. It is not to be mistaken with being cruel or lacking anything like a conscience, but more that there isn’t a need for empathy in a social sense. Most humans HAVE empathy because of mirror neurons firing off when someone is in physical or emotional pain and it is in their instinct to aid those in need. There is no evolutionary need for this among heavenly beings, as every need is provided for, there is no sickness, death does not exist, and crimes or wrong-doing simply do not exist. Therefore, empathy was never something angels like Michael developed.

A good example of this is during the battle with Sariel, a Watcher still loyal to God but a father who was fighting to protect his children. The Nephilim children were at the risk of growing by feeding on one another, turning into what are known as Fire Nephilim—Berserk Giants that could reduce the Earth to ash. Michael saw it as Sariel stockpiling nuclear weapons, rather than sheltering his children. Both Lucifel and Michael assumed Sariel was bewitching his lovers to stay with and protect him—while Enoch isn’t so sure. The lovers express very real grief when he was killed and sealed away, and this is something that the Archangel views as manipulation as opposed to actual devotion.
Michael really does not understand the human psyche, and how certain events can really damage an individual. When Belial chose to kidnap the girl who had followed Enoch around during his hunt for the Grigori, Enoch did not hesitate to save her, nor did Armaros hesitate to save Enoch immediately after. Although Enoch made it out alive, he was corrupted by vileness and was sent back to heaven to be purged. Michael expected this to be done quickly—however, he was dead wrong. There was so much pain and doubt that something had actually broken inside the Scribe, and Michael had missed it. How someone could be so pious but carry so much pain while carrying out God’s will was new to him.

Michael felt ashamed that he had disregarded the pain inside Enoch’s heart—Enoch, whom he was supposed to guide and protect. He tries to make it better in his own way, by going from his quiet, only-speaking-once-in-a-while attitude towards Enoch to constantly encouraging him and speaking to him as much as possible, evidenced by his in-game assurance that Enoch should take as long as he needed to. It is at this point that Michael finally realized what Enoch needed—Humans compare how they are to one another and act according to the other person’s needs and personality. It was something he didn’t understand before this, and is getting used to, now. He is not a natural at being people-intuitive like Armaros, but is willing to try to understand how humans function and act the way they do.

Michael is very attached to his brother, Lucifel. The stories about Michael booting him out of heaven were fabricated, and he is actually currently hanging around on earth in attempt to find his brother, find out why he fell, and trying to get acquainted and used to humanity as a whole. He wants to find Lucifel, find out what exactly happened to him, and then plead before God to forgive him. He does not want his beloved brother imprisoned, and misses him terribly. He figures if he can learn WHY he joined with the Darkness, he can aid him in redemption and life can return to normal. He doesn’t like thinking about the other possible outcome, as there is the high chance that if the conclusion is drawn and Lucifel has to die, Michael will be the one to do it. He would do anything to prevent such a thing from happening, but he is only able to do so much.

Michael dislikes talking about himself when it comes to personal issues—and he doesn’t understand why people do it. He has the trappings of his rank and divinity, but he doesn’t allow it to go to his head. He isn’t one to hide things from those he meets, and he actually can’t lie when someone asks him a question. He will answer it the best as he can, though he can lie due to omission if he has to. Although he has a blog that states outright that he is The Archangel Michael, he isn’t stupid enough to go around telling people who he is. If someone asks him directly about it, he WILL have to answer. (Although such information is on his blog, it is never really taken seriously by anyone who happens to see it, anyway.)

Unfortunately, Michael is a bit of a ditz. He’s not human, so he doesn’t really show tact as well as most do. He’s respectful to a point, and he’ll even maintain politeness if someone bothers him, but he does have the habit of managing to slip in comments that leave other unsure as to whether or not they were being insulted. He doesn’t understand sarcasm or modern humor all that much, and is often confused by it. If he ever speaks, saying something that might be viewed as sarcastic, it’s very likely it was an accident or unintentional. He has a tendency to say whatever comes to mind, changing the subject at complete random without a blink. This can confuse those with whom he’s speaking, but he doesn’t seem to have a problem with erratic conversation. He’s mostly pleasant to converse with, if not a little odd.

First Person:

[A rustle of plastic, and a click of very well-shined shoes will be the first sound anyone listening to the communicator will hear. He steps out of the train—one he had purposefully gotten on after a trip to a 24 hour convenience store—and into a place he immediately does not recognize. This isn’t Inaba at all.

Bright blue eyes take in his surroundings, and he takes long, slow striding step forward, and with a turn of his head he watches the train slowly disappear around a corner.

It doesn’t take a genius to tell that this place is unnatural. It is highly peculiar—and everything feels wrong. Out of place, would be the best way to describe it, far from Earth and cut off from Heaven. Such a thing would make any Archangel feel paranoid or concerned, however, Michael doesn’t seem to be too put off by it all. He moves over to the station itself, eyeing the posters that line the walls.]

Ruby City.

[He reads out loud, a calm, collected voice showing no real concern to being in such a place. Michael has never heard of a ‘Ruby City’ back on Earth, nor in Heaven, for that matter. Wherever he is, he supposes, he has to be here for a reason. There is another small rustle of plastic, and he pulls out a white plastic-wrapped object from the bag. He slowly unravels it, poking the trash back into his bag before poking the end of what appears to be an ice cream bar into his mouth.]

I suppose I should take a look around.

Third Person:

The first thing any onlookers would notice about this man was the way he walked. No, the way he almost glided along the sidewalk as he moved, hands pushed into the pockets of his light-grey slacks, perfectly matched with a shirt and matching blazer. A suit that looked like it cost a good arm and a leg even by the most well-to-do individual’s budget. Hair tied up in a neat bun along the back of his head, long golden flowing locks rested along his shoulders. He was certainly an elegant man, but the look on his face was anything but classy.

He looked a little upset—if angels could actually feel such an emotion—and he seemed to be contemplating something. He was thinking about his brother. Lucifel had disappeared from heaven without a trace, and it had sent near the entirety of Heaven into a bit of a confused tizzy.

For such a man to fall—with no prior warning, no explanation and hardly a word from his beloved brother, Michael was left confused to what had happened. He had taken it upon himself to find the man, and it was the very reason to why he was on Earth, now. Without any knowledge to where he had gone, he figured the best place to start his search for the man he had known since the Beginning would be Earth. After all, wasn’t it where all Fallen Ones went when they fell from grace?

When he found him, he knew what he would do. He would ask him why he fell. Why he did not tell him, his closest sibling and most trusted friend in Heaven why things were going wrong. And he would then offer him aid in redeeming himself in God’s eyes. So things could return to normal. So he could have his brother back, and—

There was a small jingle to his left, and he rose his head a bit to see where it had come from. He had stopped directly in front of a store, the word ‘Junes’ Plastered up on the front of the building. There appeared to be speakers just inside the large, glass doors, and they were playing a catchy little tune.

“Every day is great, at your Junes~” a jaunty voice sang, and the beginnings of a smile moved over the Archangel’s face.

Well; there was no harm in a pit-stop, was there? After all; a stop in at June’s would only make his search a little bit easier to bear.
