CHARACTER
Name: Theodore
Canon: Persona 3 Portable
Timeline: Post-game

Personality:

Inside the Velvet Room and in battle Theodore appears to be a serious and polite young man who fulfills his duties diligently. At the optional battle against the female protagonist his politeness goes as far as to apologize for an attack against her. Regardless of that he does not hold back during the fight and suggests to the protagonist to do the same and “to fight like she has the intent to kill”. He is also an excellent fighter. As one of three so far known entities of purest power, the other two being his older sisters Elizabeth and Margaret, Theodore only has a limited knowledge about the world outside the Velvet Room. Also, Elizabeth seems to scare him for reasons unknown, he had only mentioned it in the game.

Despite lacking the knowledge of things a person would consider simple he pretends to know everything there is to know. It does not mean that he is stupid, he can actually tell the exact temperature of water by feeling it or tell ingredients of a dish by its smell, even tell every chemical component of a scent and he is proud of these skills of his. It can be actually said that if he is anything then he is worldly innocent when it comes to the human world. This is proven over and over again when you fulfill his requests of escorting him to certain places he has taken an interest to.

While on these “dates” with him the player gets a better insight of his character. Theodore is proud and unwilling to admit that there are things he does not know as he tries to come to logical conclusions himself, which are usually far off from the true purpose of the thing he took an interest in. In fact, depending on the answers chosen at these dates he appears to be flustered easily and in denial about his faux pas or even easily disappointed if he can’t take a closer look at the place of interest such as a “club” he could not enter since it was closed.

Aside from that and in addition to his worldly innocence Theodore also appears to be a bit naïve. He is unable to tell apart a statement from a metaphor, therefore taking every metaphor literally as shown at the second date. Another remarkable trait of his is his protectiveness and fondness over the female protagonist, which is usually shown through him asking for her hand to hold. At one point during the second date there is a car driving towards them, no matter what choice the player makes, Theodore seems to be more than worried over her. At the third date he even prays for her safety at the shrine. The last date reveals that he has actually has fallen in love with her, but in order to fulfill his duty in the Velvet Room and as her assistance, he is modest enough not to pursue a relationship with her.

CHARACTER
Name: Grell Sutcliff
Canon: Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)
Timeline: At which point of the canon were they taken from? Season 1 episode 6. Grell has been defeated by the demon Sebastian, and has had his fellow reaper and boss, William, take him away to be punished for dereliction of his duty as a reaper. Note: Grell will likely assumeRuby City is his “Punishment” for a little while.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: I’m not playing another character from this canon.

Personality: First and foremost, Grell puts on an amazing act of being insane. His default personality is amiable, cheerful and flirtatious. However, he scrolls through emotions rapidly, and is quick to intense and frightening fits of rage, violence, lust, sorrow, and affection.
He relishes and revels in the life-and-death drama of human tragedy. He is contemptuous of human life, finding it dull and dirty. But the drama of death is something that excites and fascinates him. Shinigami live a very long time. While they can die and there are ways to kill them, this is rare. It’s a very dull life, set in a never-ending bureaucracy. Due to the nature of this existence, Grell decides to pack as much of the drama he disparages human lives for not having into his own life. Grell fancies himself an actress. His emotions are not something he feels, as much as they are something that he uses to create his own personal melodrama with himself as the beautiful leading lady. Since to Grell, drama is better than the real life cinematic records, Grell prefers acting out dramatic emotions to experiencing real ones.
There are many reasons why Grell greatly prefers theatrics over his real life emotions. He’d much rather emotions be like they are on the stage. Besides, stage emotions are fun, but real ones are painful. When faced with emotions that Grell can’t turn into melodrama and play-acting, ones that he has to actually feel, Grell can suddenly seem very fragile. So, Grell’s objects of affection tend to be people who are either aloof (William) or who want nothing but to kill him (Sebastian.) That way, he can enjoy acting out a passionate drama without any danger of the real, dirty, boring, undramatic emotions form the less-exciting cinematic records. In addition to this, Grell knows the reality of love would not compare to the drama of imaginary love. For that reason, Grell tends to love men who will spurn and respond to his advances with violence. He likes to act as though his feelings are returned. Part of this is because since he is a masochist, he does genuinely get off being fought off and generally abused. The other part is because acting as though the fight is a love affair, Grell encourages further attention and abuse.
Grell is a masochist by nature. He likes being treated roughly. And, as reapers go, he holds one of the only AAA scores on technical skill with a shinigami death-scythe, and he loves to show off. He’s very proud of his ability. So, both fighting and being beaten and dominated are things that excite him.
Most of the targets for his wild romantic attentions are men, but he's flexible in the matter and can harbor romantic and sexual feelings for women. This, however, is rare. Most women he treats with jealousy and disdain. When he does, it’s usually because he’s enjoying playing out some drama he’s concocted, and the woman is a part of the drama and has less to do with her personally.
Grell feeds on attention, and will stop at nothing to get it. He wants to be an actress, so he will always force those around to be his audience to his performances. To him, attention is good no matter how negative a form it takes. He dearly loves to frighten people and make them uncomfortable. The main reason for this is because it’s the best way to make himself the center of attention.
Another dimension to this is the fact that Grell is a very powerful individual, even by shinigami standards. There is a duality to this, in that he enjoys both wielding his power over others in the form of intimidation, and meeting the rare person who can match him and wield power over him, dominating him. It’s the same duality that exists in children, where they constantly both push boundaries and look for them to be enforced that the same time.
Grell’s opinion of himself is very high. He’s powerful and beautiful and he is very aware of this. Even as a young shinigami, he feels like his skill entitles him to preferred treatment, even though he didn’t do exceptionally well on the written exams. Grell also feels very entitled to the kind of dramatic life he craves. This causes a degree of cognitive dissonance, or sometimes just plain anger when he does not get what he feels he is entitled to. When this happens, he cycles back to his extreme behavior to get more attention on himself, or express more of his dramatic outrage. But, while his dramatic personality does get him the attention he craves, it does not really leave him emotionally fulfilled. He can be left lonely and frustrated by only receiving negative attention. However, these emotions channel right back into his resorting to extreme behavior. Grell’s aware of the fact that he behaves badly. Therefore, he can sometimes become confused when he receives positive attention when he thinks it's sincere, and not done to manipulate him.
He does have moments of lucidity, and he can be quite cunning and intelligent when he wants to be. He just doesn’t want to be. Generally, he’s not so mentally broken that he cannot function; he’s just broken enough so that he doesn’t care to. He’s a bit like the child who drops the plate and breaks it so he doesn’t have to do the dishes anymore. The shinigami life is long and tedious, and Grell’s nature is to make it as dramatic and exciting as possible. That also means getting out of work as much as possible, and avoiding paperwork as much as he can.
Grell likes children, but they also make him uncomfortable. One reason for this could be because, as his job is a reaper in a time period when infant mortality and child deaths were common, the task of reaping children would be a common and distressing one. This discomfort combined with his short temper and tendency toward wild outbursts make him particularly bad with them.
Loyalty isn't something Grell is overly concerned with. He'll look out for number one. However, as vain as he is, and is susceptible to flattery and tokens of affection, no matter how minor or insincere. He lives his life in a way that provokes negative reactions, for the reasons stated above. Even though he enjoys it, it can leave him unsatisfied. Therefore, even the smallest sign of approval will delight him, as long as it doesn't come too close to a real emotion. He seems to have no real qualms with letting himself be manipulated quite readily. Once motivated, Grell can be easily be made into a powerful, but ultimately unreliable ally.
Given Grell's job and his feelings towards human lives, Grell’s relationship with death is fairly skewed. For Grell, to kill a human would only be to reap them early. It wouldn't have much significance. He sees human life as dirty and boring anyway, so he has no real respect for it.
His other interests include playing games, acting, theater, music, and the arts. He also enjoys photography. Grell does have an incredibly short attention span. So, his interests and hobbies tend to be passionate, but short lived.
Grell's gender identity is a source of debate among Kuroshitsuji fans. Some people play Grell as a transwoman, and some don't. While there is legitimate canon evidence for the transwoman interpretation, I personally don't see him that way. I play him as a gay male with a cross dressing fetish and a female persona that he indulges in. This is how I enjoy playing him, and while I don't believe that playing him as a transwoman is wrong, I believe there is equal evidence to support the other interpretation.
Grell speaks in "Onee kotoba" which is a common affectation common among "flaming" gay men and drag queens during peformances, which translates to female pronouns when translated to English. It is an innuendo-laced dirty parody of how little girls speak. While it would be common for drag queens, it would not be used by Japanese women. Yana Toboso has mentioned the issue in supplementary materials, and in one she does say Grell wants a sex change operation. This is, however, a common stereotype in Japan, the myth that all gay men really just want to be women. She typically describes him as "okama" (cross dressing gay man) in other materials.
He’s very vain, and shows no outward discontent with his male body. While he adores his long hair, makeup, and the occasional dressing up, Grell really makes no serious effort to pass as female. In fact, demanding people call him a woman and throwing tantrums when he's identified as a man seems to be something he enjoys. He uses it to his advantage to provoke negative attention, and to make people uncomfortable regularly throughout the series. This is most apparent in his interactions with Sebastian. Ironically, his view of "womanhood" and femininity is surprisingly misogynistic. To him, being a woman involves wearing dresses, makeup, looking pretty and receiving sexual attention from handsome men. When Madame Red will no longer do his bidding, he kills her declaring he has no use for her if she's "just another woman.
Therefore, while I don't think there's anything wrong with playing Grell as a transwoman, I also think this interpretation is valid.

CHARACTER
Name: Nepeta Leijon
Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: After she attacks Gamzee and is murdered by him.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:
Your name is NEPETA LEIJON.

You live in a CAVE that is also a HIVE, but still mostly just a CAVE. You like to engage in FRIENDLY ROLE PLAYING, but not the DANGEROUS KIND. Never the DANGEROUS KIND. It's TOO DANGEROUS! Too many of your good friends have gotten hurt that way.

Your daily routine is dangerous enough as it is. You prowl the wilderness for GREAT BEASTS, and stalk them and take them down with nothing but your SHARP CLAWS AND TEETH! You take them back to your cave and EAT THEM, and from time to time, WEAR THEIR PELTS FOR FUN. You like to paint WALL COMICS using blood and soot and ash, depicting EXCITING TALES FROM THE HUNT! And other goofy stories about you and your numerous pals. Your best pal of all is A LITTLE BOSSY, and people wonder why you even bother with him. But someone has to keep him pacified. If not you, then who? Everyone has an important job to do.

Your trolltag is arsenicCatnip and :33 < *your sp33ch precedes itself with the face of your lusus who is pawssibly the cutest and purrhaps the bestest kitty you have ever s33n!*

What will you do?

- Nepeta’s introduction page.

At first glance of this young female troll, we come to notice certain general aspects which quickly take us into a variety of associations. For example, the large, beady eyes and the 3 shaped mouth with a pair of peeking fangs quickly remind us of hundreds and hundreds of pictures and characters of adorable cats and other feline creatures we find on the Internet. This, added and complemented with more feline references, such as the large, cat-head shaped hat and the blue tail poking out of her jacket all add up to a character that immediately reminds us of the silly cat-girl personas and internet memes, not to mention the furry community. However, although these things are, in fact, referenced along her story as silly cracks and jokes to keep the audience entertained, one must look past this to fully understand and enjoy Nepeta’s whole character.

There are several sides of her personality to analyze in order to get a proper picture. Starting with the general picture, Nepeta is a cheerful young troll girl, often caught indulging in amusing activities, such as roleplaying with her friends throughout the story, or maintaining her Shipping Wall, which is literally a wall on which she keep track of ships between her and her group of friends, may they be true and confirmed, or possible, or simply desired.
As a contrast, Nepeta enjoys other, different activities as well, such as hunting (which she does, using her own skills, much like a wild animal would), and wearing the pelts of her preys. This last part shows us how Nepeta isn’t simply a “cute little troll girl”, but also a strong, independent young lass who can take quite good care of herself, in the very least in terms of combat and defense.

As far as animalistic references go, Nepeta doesn’t simply find amusement in animal life; she lives as she is one of them, which, by itself, is a reference to her liking for roleplaying, in which she plays a two mouthed feline, reference to her Lusus, Pounce de Leon, to whom she shows great care and affinity, going as far as missing her once the troll’s session has moved along, made clear in a conversation with Rose, as Nepeta attempts to chat with Jaspersprite.
Nepeta lives in a cave-like hive, and it’s quite clear that her tales of hunts are taken from personal experience, as we can see from the animal corpses, blood (which she uses to paint her walls) and cave drawings scattered around her respiteblock.

Despite her life in a cave and her feral indulgences, Nepeta still maintains a healthy dose of personal relationship with the rest of the canon trolls, with some obvious preferences, but also some dislikes. The first one relationship we should look at is one of the main focuses in her story: Her relationship with Equius Zahhak, her moirail and what could be considered the major example of the pale flushed quadrant in the cannon plot. These two, despite their majorly contrasting personalities, show a major bond and great care, along with a deep mindset set on the responsibilities that moirails share: a guardianship, where a partner has to take care of the other. Equius is shown to be greatly protective of Nepeta, going as far as forcing her to play on his team in the troll’s Sgrub session, much to Nepeta’s frustration. Equius also shows to be majorly controlling of her and seems to put down her taste for roleplaying, but his fondness for the female troll is often shown and he tends to comply with her wishes at some points. Nepeta, on the other hand, call herself Equius’s pacifier, making it her job to calm down the violent Blueblood. She keeps up her playful demeanor with the “brutishly poised” troll, despite it not being well received at times (which also frustrates her at some points), but, as was mentioned before, she seems to be able to pacify Equius, and we are shown one of the closest bonds between characters, up until their very end, as shown by her shock in Equius’s murder and the manner in which she rashly attacks Gamzee with feelings of revenge.
Nepeta shows strong connections with a number of other characters as well. Starting with Karkat Vantas, towards whom she seems to have romantic/flushed feelings for, as shown in her Shipping Wall, both the cave and the lab versions; she also expresses this, although vaguely, in her conversation with Jaspersprite. It is understood that Karkat is aware of these feelings, despite not returning them; however, he seems to have a fondness for her, although it does not surpass the spectrum of friendship. Nepeta does not seem to be aware of Karkat’s knowledge of her feelings, but still chooses not to tell him (or anyone else but Jaspersprite, for that matter), due to shyness, fear of rejection, and fear of “making someone jealous” (heavily pointing towards Terezi, Karkat’s matesprit at the time and Nepeta’s friend).
Other trolls she shows a fondness for are Terezi, her roleplay partner with whom she seems to greatly enjoy playing with, Tavros, who attempts to roleplay with her as well and with who seem to share a pleasant friendship, and Aradia, with whom she seems to get along with and who’s entrance in the Medium Nepeta was in charge of.
However, there are others who Nepeta does actively dislike. She expresses a dislike for Eridan, directly saying she doesn’t like him; she’s also apparently scared of Vriska, shown in her uncertainty when she attempts to roleplay with her and is taken back by the violent nature of Vriska’s animal persona.
In a general sense, Nepeta is of a greatly caring nature, striking (or attempting) a positive relationship with most characters and keeping up a great sense of loyalty, but not as much as to blind her to certain aspects that she may not approve or enjoy, making her definitely not a naive character.

Despite all of these aspects – her strength, her independence, her strive to soothe her strong moirail, her attempt of revenge for his death – we are often reminded that Nepeta is also a young girl, shown through a delightful, almost cheerfully naive demeanor at times, in an attempt to keep up high spirits when others seem to be unable to.

Nepeta has, therefore, a well-rounded personality that can be alluring to others, granted they keep on her good side, lest they win a young, cute but worthy opponent.

CHARACTER
Name: Elizabeth
Canon: Persona 3 FES/Portable
Timeline: A couple years after she’s left the Velvet Room (So technically during P4, when her sister mentions her)
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:

(Elizabeth is from the male play-through, all dates completed.)

To start, Elizabeth is woefully naïve to the world of the protagonist (Minato) and takes many things too seriously. She’s also completely oblivious to many social customs and often leaps before looking. This doesn’t apply entirely to everyday life though, merely new experiences of which there are many since she doesn’t live within Minatos’ realm. In the Velvet Room, she behaves responsibly and keeps to her duties in serving as Keeper of the Compendium and as Igor’s assistant, though not as diligently as her little brother. Even after all the ‘dates’ she goes on, she continues her duty in the Velvet Room instead of pursuing a potential relationship with Minato.

She’s constantly cheerful, finding joy and fascination in even the most simple of tasks… Like putting almost one million yen into three water fountains to make a wish. And then forgetting to make a wish, it was that exciting for her, literally. This also implies that she’s very generous. She doesn’t easily believe something is superstition alone, assuming that the coin offers that others made were not sufficient enough to pique the “fountain spirits” interest.

Elizabeth tends to be quite empathetic as well, comforting Aigis after Minato is gone and the android is still grieving. It’s not clear in ‘The Answer’ about Elizabeth’s feelings, in fact it’s not shown at all (since it can be played independently from ‘The Journey’) but she was grieving as well since she had come to love Minato.

She also sought desperately to find the true meaning to her life, something that she was destined to do since the moment she set foot in the Velvet Room, as are all guests and residents of the mysterious room. Elizabeth went so far as to ask Minato to fight her at the top of the (bonus) dungeon, Monad. She was defeated however, something only her sister had only ever been capable of doing, and did not find the answer she was seeking. She did learn, however, that only she can find the answer to her life and was still quite thankful, presenting Minato with one of her prized possessions: a bookmark, again showing her generosity and the depth of her feelings towards him.

The young attendant isn’t at all shy, having no problems with starting to dance in the middle of public and grew excited at the thought of karaoke or the arcade and even attempts to convince her master to turn the Velvet Room into a club.

And she definitely lacks a clear understanding of our world, assuming that escalators test a persons wits and pitfalls test a persons strength. Like her brother, she can tell the secret ingredients in food just by the smell… And then takes the saleslady for the takoyaki seriously when she claims that the food will “-make you smile so wide, your cheeks will fall off!” and assumes normal citizens can’t buy takoyaki very easily. She then proceeded to take Minato around to every food place in Iwatodai Strip Mall and eat more than seven meals, ending up surprised when she found out he couldn’t handle so many meals.

On a date to the Naganaki Shrine, Elizabeth discovered the slide and jungle gym there and thought that the playground equipment worked as a way to teach children how the world works. And then ended up getting stuck in the jungle gym and attempting to balance on a bar. She learned just how much fun she could have, especially when with Minato.

Mostly, she just looks too deeply into things and attempts to make them seem more important a task or event than it actually is during her first forays into the world of Minato and the rest of SEES and she learned a lot, glad for each one and likening them to valuable gems. Mentioned earlier, she’s naïve to the ways of the protags worlds, but she claims to be quite aware of the meaning behind going into a young mans room with him.

First Person:

Oh. This is different. It’s certainly not where I was going, this place won’t help me at all.

I’ll have to go back, I won’t be able to free him--

[She pauses as she takes note of the watch.]

Well, what have we here? A watch?

Hmm… I don’t recall watches ever doing this before. Such a quaint little device. Is anyone watching this video?

Third Person:

“Persona!” Elizabeth shouted, smashing a card drawn from a thick tome. Nebiros, the general of Hell, heeded the call of the golden eyed woman and attack the looming figure of Erebus. Behind it, a stone figure was suspended in the air, the soul of the young man she had come to release. The danger to herself was minimal, Theodore and Margaret could assist Master Igor if anything were to happen to her.

Nobody could help Minato though. So long as Erebus attempted to make contact with Nyx, Minato could never be freed. And Erebus would never stop existing. There had to be an alternative, some Persona that could seal Erebus as well.

“I won’t let you hurt him! Even if I must spend an eternity fighting you!” She spent so long trying to get here, to help him. She left her duties as attendant in the Velvet Room for this task. She held her own, well enough, against Margaret once. She could handle Erebus for a time, bond her powers with those of Minato’s friends to save him.

And then a thought struck her. What if… She gave her own soul to act as a seal, if that didn‘t work? It would free him, exactly as she had set out to do. As much as she had come to care for him, it was a risk she was willing to take. Otherwise, she would act as a second seal with him, if he could not be freed.

CHARACTER
Name: Glitch
Canon: Syfy’s Tin Man
Timeline: Right after he, Raw, and Cain are rescued by Jeb and the rebels, but before Toto shows up to tell them that DG is in trouble
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: n/a

Personality:
If Glitch is one thing, it is loyal. You could say that it comes from being brainless, but that would be to sell Ambrose quite short. His brain was removed in the first place because he was so loyal to the queen that he refused to give up information on the Sun Seeder even under torture. He destroyed the only blueprints to his greatest creation and stood up to Azkadellia even when he knew that the cause was lost. In addition, his loyalty to the queen is never questioned – in the Northern Palace, he is present in the portrait of the royal family on the wall. He was the queen’s most beloved and trusted advisor, second only to Ahamo and her daughters in her esteem and affection. After his brain is removed, he still shows remarkable loyalty. To have Glitch as your friend is to have a powerful and loyal ally, even if he isn’t always the brightest bulb in the drawer. He pulls Cain from the water after Cain is shot in the royal palace; he and Cain rescue DG and Raw from Azkadellia’s castle; and he, Cain, and Raw come running when Toto tells them that DG is in trouble at the Gray Gale.

Of DG’s three boys, and of the denizens of the O.Z., Glitch is definitely the most cheerful. He sees the world with an almost childlike sense of wonderment at times, such as when he’s easily entertained by the woman with 8 arms, or when he finds himself examining gadgets. This is a trait that gets him into trouble often, and is even pointed out by Cain, who refers to it as his “wide-eyed optimism.” That isn’t exactly the best term for it, however it certainly seems apt when compared to the incredibly cynical and war-worn Cain, or the skittish and fearful Raw. Glitch is the one who is guaranteed to side with DG on the “bright side” of any disagreement among the group. He’s almost bitterly optimistic at times, confronting Cain’s “bad attitude” on a regular basis with heated disagreement.

He is also stubborn and candid. When he’s set on something, he is dead set on it and he will argue you into the ground. This, in addition to his candor, combines with the previously mentioned traits of loyalty and optimism, not always to his benefit. However, it’s what helps him keep a sunny outlook despite the chronic cynicism of Cain and the terrible circumstances of the O.Z. in general. He is not afraid to tell you how he feels. Among the things that were apparently excised when his brain was removed was any trace of a brain to mouth filter. He’ll break awkward silences and derail conversations with non-sequitur statements. He’s better about this, by the canon point that he’s taken from, but as time goes on in the city he might regress a little.

Despite the fact that Glitch is missing his brain, he still manages to be quite witty and clever. Frequently throughout the course of the series, it’s Glitch who takes up the mantle of exposition fairy. At times, it seems like the facts that he’s able to recall are random, although they’re always relevant. For instance, when he is able to recall the scientific abbreviation and number of Mauretanium on the Ozian periodic table. Other important information, he is unable to recall, like the exact nature of the sun seeder that he developed or the real name of the queen who he served so faithfully (or his own name, for that matter, his identity as Ambrose wasn’t known until Raw delved into the memories that had been repressed by Azkadellia’s medcoats).

Although he isn’t going to say no to taxing his brain (or what’s left of it) for people he cares about, and even though he considers himself a “Thinker”, Glitch is also very, very proud of his sense of rhythm. Rhythm, he says, comes from the soul. Before his brain was removed, he was apparently a very talented dancer. After his brain was removed, he’s still implied to be a talented dancer, but more importantly he’s also revealed to be an insanely skilled martial artist. He is truly a deep well.

First Person:
[When he steps off the train and onto the platform, the first thought in his head is that he has no idea where he is. The second thought in his head is that he doesn’t feel like he’s supposed to be alone right now, but he can’t exactly remember where he’s supposed to be, either. He sticks his hand in his pocket and feels something small, cold, and circular. Pulling it out, it’s a small watch attached to a chain. At least on first glance.

Pressing buttons reveals a screen that comes to life with a burst of static, startling him.]

Hello? Can anyone hear me? The name’s Glitch, and I... Oh cripes, I don’t think I’m in the O.Z. anymore.

Cain? Raw? ...DG? Has anyone seen my friends around here, maybe? Last I remember, we... well, I think we were in the woods.

Third Person:
Trains were a thing that were fairly uncommon in the O.Z. They were used primarily to transport goods, not people, so when Glitch fell asleep and awoke in the relative comfort of a rolling metal behemoth, he was a little disturbed and put off. Particularly because the last thing that he remembered, he had fallen asleep in the forest. Worry seized him as the train rolled into a thick fog.

“DG? Cain? Raw?” he called, standing up and bracing himself against the seat as he moved frantically around the compartment. He went to the door and all but pressed his face up against the glass, trying to discern something in the fog. He didn’t need a brain to figure out that he was alone in the compartment. Finally, the train started to slow down, and buildings rose out of the fog. Buildings not like any he’d ever seen before. As the train screeched to a halt in front of the platform, Glitch didn’t really need a nudge to stumble out of the car.

“DG?” he called louder, glancing around. “Cain?” Maybe they were stuck in another compartment. “Raw?” But he remained just as alone as ever.

Whatever had happened to him, his friends were missing. And if they were being held in this place, then it was up to him to find them. He pulled up short in front of a poster on the wall of the station.

“Ruby City,” he read aloud. His eyes scanned over the rest of the notice, as his hand slipped to his pocket and pulled out the little device. He looked down at it, cold and heavy in his hand. “What a funny little thing.” Curious shaking, then flipping it open and fiddling with it.

CHARACTER
Name: The Master
Canon: Doctor Who
Timeline: During the “End of Time” episodes, when he is a captive of the Naismiths.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: The Master is most easily described as a mad man, and that is very true. He is mad, but he’s also more than that. He’s power hungry, in a way that never ends well, and is easily able to get into positions of power, whether it’s through charm, skill, or manipulation. He feels that he is superior, and is extremely narcissistic. Would someone who isn’t a narcissist change the entirety of a race into clones of themselves? Probably not. He desires control, and his hypnotic ways and ability to fool people into believing his a normal, charming man help him achieve that.

He enjoys the suffering of others, and finds amusement in pain and suffering. He shows little remorse for his actions, and makes destroying populations a game. He makes jokes and laughs, which really just makes his actions all the crueler, but isn’t that the best part? He enjoys breaking people down, watching them suffer slowly. That’s why he kept the Doctor alive, and was completely fascinated by the fact that Jack could not die. He wanted to break them mentally, before destroying them completely. He’s inventive in his torture.

He’s more than just a sociopath and a psychiatric field day, though. Driven mad by the drums in his head, the Master’s vast intelligence was twisted into something darker. When the Master was in the guise of Professor Yana, before restoring himself as a Time Lord, the Doctor even commented that he was more brilliant than the Doctor himself, who’s known for his intelligence and creativity. He’s endlessly intelligent, but instead of using his knowledge for good and the betterment of others he used them for selfish, self-fulfilling reasons. He does not sympathize with others, and sees no reason to. He just wants to watch the world burn, with him lighting the fire.

After his flawed resurrection, the Master began to lose himself. His control and ability to charm others began to fade, as he was a raw, more emotional version of himself. He would spend time remembering his childhood on Gallifrey, possibly because he knew that this was his last chance. He was angry and bitter, getting caught in the memories and wondering how his life would be if he had been free from the drums. He was more animalistic, from the strain his body was putting on his mind, and he became quick to anger. He was still very much his intelligent, cruel self who saw delight and play in other’s suffering, but he is coming apart at the edges.

First Person: [The Master is holding his pocket watch tightly, staring at the screen curiously. He paces back and forth, grinning to himself. This was fantastic. Completely fantastic. A new world. A new time, a new everything.

He laughs to himself, finally addressing the watch.]

I believe I’m using this correctly. Hello, new friends. Please pardon my appearance. [He taps at the collar at his neck, a simple, four note beat.] I’m sure you understand. Suddenly being in one spot, and then another. There wasn’t any time to prepare myself.

If anyone can answer a few questions, or know where I can find a doctor, I’ll be at the station. [He chuckles again, and the video cuts off.]

Third Person: The Master was curious about this new place. This Ruby City. He had been exploring the city, getting to know its depths. He wanted to know more. He had to know the city, inside and out. He had to know the best way to tear it apart, brick by brick.

So he had been wandering. He used this time to himself to get to know better, spending time getting used to how his body drained so quickly, and finding the best ways to counteract how he withered away. Some of the people in the city were fools, and had offered him food. He had found a few restaurants and cafés, he had foraged through the forests.

But he was still always so hungry. He was ravenous, and he would frequently be overcome with hunger pains.. The Master found them needlessly distracting and worthless. He had far more important things to deal with then his hunger. He needed to find how this place worked, and see what they used to transport all these groups of people.

He grimaced to himself, prowling the streets of Ruby City. (It was an odd name, it would be far more fitting if the streets ran crimson.) There were so many options, but he had so little patience. He had so many plans for this city, he could not get distracted by a sharp pain in his stomach. He had eaten not too long ago, but his body, his body, while more agile, and more powerful, was an unnecessary burden. If only his resurrected body had come without the drums. Maybe if he could share them with others, the burden would not be one. For now, he could put his plans aside and find himself some sustenance.

CHARACTER
Name: Billy Harris/Dr. Horrible (Last name unofficial)
Canon: Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
Timeline: End of Act 2/immediately post “Brand New Day”
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: n/a

Personality: > In Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Billy is a thirty-something aspiring supervillain (30 even, if the show takes place in 2008) who wants nothing more than to join the Evil League of Evil. More than that, Billy is a shy man who wears unassuming earth tones, hides himself in oversized hoodies, and has to do his laundry at the Coin Laundry down the street. He’s socially awkward to a fault, as well as shy, as is shown by his behaviour in the reality portion of “My Freeze Ray”, where he mumbles a semi-greeting to Penny, and then later backtracks and pretends that he didn’t compliment her when she hears him. He wishes that he could be more assertive, however, which is why he invents the Ray in the first place, is to freeze time so that he can work up the nerve to talk to her.

He seems to have the attitudes of a teenager more than a thirty-year-old. He’s idealistic (granted, his ideals revolve around being a supervillain, but he still has the lofty goal of changing the world), awkward, and a little bit stalkerish. He’s cocky, as demonstrated by how he tells Moist that stealing the Wonderfluonium from a courier van will be like taking candy from a baby. He doesn’t have very good priorities – the girl who he’s been dreaming about for some time finally talks to him and is flirting with him, and he focuses on his heist instead. But despite how socially stunted he can seem at first, he is intensely devoted to things that he cares about. When Captain Hammer pushes Penny into the garbage, Billy tries to lay into him immediately, yelling at him about how Penny could have gotten hurt.

After Penny falls in love with Captain Hammer, Billy becomes increasingly bitter and desperate in his actions. His stalkerish tendencies increase, extending to following Penny on her dates with Captain Hammer. At the same time, however, now that the ice is broken and the formal introduction made between Billy and Penny, he finds it much easier to talk to her. They seem to genuinely enjoy one another’s company, as they enjoy cups of frozen yogurt and wait for their clothes to finish at the Laundromat. Beneath the shy, awkward loner, Billy is actually a pretty good friend. He listens to Penny, tries to give her advice, and sure, it’s all couched in the fact that he wants her desperately, but it’s obvious that, unlike Hammer, Billy genuinely cares about Penny.

There is one thing that remains the same about Billy (up until the end of Act II): even though he aspires to be a supervillain, he firmly believes that murder is neither “elegant” nor “creative.” It throws him for a loop at first when he gets the order from Bad Horse that he needs to murder someone in order to get into the Evil League of Evil. He considers murder inelegant and uncreative, but more than that he’s completely appalled when Moist suggests murdering someone who wouldn’t be a challenge, like a child or an old lady.

This attitude seems to change drastically when Captain Hammer pulls Billy aside and tells him that he’s basically just using Penny because he knows that Billy loves her. All qualms with murder are put aside (“This appeared as a moral dilemma / ... / ...you / Have shown me the light”), and he immediately begins construction on a Death Ray so that he can exact his revenge on Captain Hammer (and save Penny from him, as well). Nonetheless, when the time arrives and he actually has Hammer at his mercy and the Death Ray at Hammer’s head, he has to take a moment to give himself a pep talk before he can go through with it.

He repeats a phrase that Penny used to him earlier (“Head up Billy-buddy”), implying that he’s doing this for Penny, too, to save her from “Mr. Cheesy-on-the-outside”. This shows an intense dedication to causes that he believes in – he’s ready to break his cardinal rule and do something that he considers beneath him if it means ensuring the well-being of his best friend and the love of his life. “Brand New Day” makes it abundantly clear that Billy is not merely targeting Hammer because Hammer is his nemesis and Billy needs to kill someone to get into the ELE. It’s personal.

First Person:
Well, it’s not quite the technology that I’m used to, but you know what, it’ll have to do.

[Insert awkward clearing of the throat that he doesn’t think anyone can see.]

Did somebody call a doctor? Doctor Horrible, that is.

Can anyone tell me which way to get back to L.A.? I have important business to attend to. Villainy business. Important villainy business that’s kind of under a time constraint. I only have so much time to get this done, I don’t need to be stuck in a new city, so it would make my day if you could just tell me the quickest way back to L.A.

And better yet, if anyone knows where I could find approximately six feet of rebar and a pair of sturdy bolt cutters. I’d appreciate it.

I mean—

Do it because I, Doctor Horrible, tell you to!

Third Person:
Billy paced the platform agitatedly, his rubber boots scuffing along the platform as he went. He had no idea where he was. He wasn’t in Los Angeles anymore, that was for damn sure. He fished through his pockets to see what he had with him. There was some bits of wire, some tools. His all-in-one miniature screwdriver. His handheld heat ray/soft welding torch.

His stun ray was still back at the lab, as were all of his calculations. One of these would be easy to replace. The other would not.

Plus, his cell phone was getting absolutely no reception, which was just complete balls. He couldn’t even call Moist to come pick him up in the Horriblemobile. Or wire him a train ticket home. Or bring him his civilian clothes.

Damn it, he was still in his villain clothes.

His mind was racing, pacing left and right and left and right, up, down, problem solving ways to get himself out of this mess. He had to get back to L.A. He had to finish his death ray in time for the opening of the homeless shelter. He had to get rid of Captain Hammer, so that Penny would finally see that he was the one who loved her, not that egotistical pudding-for-brains bumbling idiot who called himself a superhero.

He was ripped out of his thoughts when he found something in his pocket that definitely wasn’t his. He pulled out a shiny watch and turned it over in his hands. There were more buttons on it than for a regular watch. He flicked open the cover and pressed one. A thin line appeared on the screen.

“...Huh.” The line jumped. “A voice recording function?” The line wobbled along with his voice. He thought for a moment longer.

“You know, maybe this won’t be so bad after all.”

CHARACTER
Name: Doctor Bruce Banner
Canon: Avengers (movie!verse)
Timeline: Directly from the end of the first Avengers movie.

Personality: Between a combination of things such as the abuse at his father's hands, a non-existant childhood in the face of incredible genius, and the desvestation he has wrecked since the accident that created his other half, Bruce has become an emotional recluse. He prefers to deal with people with a barrier between himself and the outside world - a barrier he believes is protection for them against what could happen if his emotional scale is tipped enough, but it is equally a barrier to protect himself as well.

His genius as a physicist and doctor is difficult to miss when he truly gets focused on a topic which can, unfortunately, distance him as well from the common mind. However, his quiet, almost soft-spoken and otherwise gentle nature earns him an easy trust from most despite his desire otherwise. Only when things become... uneasy does the depths of his repressed rage start to show as he tries to pull away.

Bruce has a dry sense of humor that can sometimes make itself known in odd ways and some that only another like-mind may get, but he can be a down to earth type of guy when his mind is not, for the moment, driven by science. He can get incredibly focused on any topic of research leading to things such as forgetting to, you know, sleep. Or eat. Or look after his own health despite being a doctor.

The last several years in Calcutta have given him a deep desire to help people as much as he possibly can. Originally he went there as a way to run away from the stressors that had been endangering people in the United States, but his time there taught him the basic supplies, medicines, and devices that are so badly needed throughout the world. It has become a great focus for him to find new, inexpensive ways to supply what is needed - an attempt to find redemption in himself as well as redemption for the dangerous information he gave the army in his youth.

Since working with the Avengers, there has been a change in Bruce's world and mindset. Since coming somewhat to grips with his own inner rage, it has given him some form of control over the beast within when it decides to come out. Now he has some limited control on the change and can provide intelligence where before it was only darkness. Still, it is too new in his life to be anything but something to be wary of and still fear.

CHARACTER
Name: Claire Stanfield, or Felix Walken
Canon: Baccano!
Timeline: After he's begun killing the white suits on the train, before he decides to propose to Chane.

Personality: [rubs hands together] -w-

It's difficult for people to tell how Claire's mind works. He seems like a pretty normal, if a bit of a flamboyant person when all is well in his world. Everything seems to be at a whim for him. If something strikes his fancy, he goes after it. Claire has no shame, and no regret (why should he? It's his world). He's also quite a flirt, and seems to fall in and out of love very easily. He's pretty clueless when it comes to women, as he's stated. He is very sure about the decisions he makes, and you can be sure he has some kind of irrefutably flawed logic in his arsenal to back it up. He usually appears very easy-going and friendly. He's very into the moment, and doesn't dwell unnecessarily on past doings - unless they're brought up. He's sure he could have all kinds of fun, entertaining stories.

Claire is a solipsist. This means that he is of the thought that the world only exists because he wants it to. Whenever he dies, he believes that the world around him will be no more, and he will just 'wake up' as if from a dream. It doesn't help that he's got the strength and wit to do pretty much whatever he wants. He joined the circus at a young age and built up enough muscle to be revered as 'super human'; he's also the type of fighter that takes control of a situation by easily adapting, and using daily objects around him as weapons. He's a quick thinker, and a dangerous one at that. That being said, he's actually fairly simple of a character to understand, once you get out of the ind set of a 'normal' person. He is simply extremely free, and very self assured that no matter what, everything will be okay because his mind is the only thing that's real. That being said, he's very hard to phase.

Claire has a very twisted sense of justice - but why not? The world is his, after all. He's the best assassin in the world, but that doesn't mean he doesn't do a few personal side jobs for himself. If there's someone that he sees as too morally wrong, they'll go on his hit list. Whenever he makes a kill, though, you know who did it. Vino (wine in Italian) got his nickname due to the way he mutilates his victims. There's so much blood and gore afterward, that it looks like they were completely covered in red wine. It's the only way Vino will believe that someone is dead. In the series, for example, most of his victims were killed by him pressing their body parts down onto the railroad tracks as the train was still moving.

CHARACTER
Name: Mako
Canon: Legend of Korra
Timeline: After the season finale.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: After the death of his parents, and since he was the oldest, Mako's duties were to take care of both himself and his brother. Thus, he matured faster than his sibling, and tends to have a more serious outlook on situations. When Bolin brought Korra into the pro-bending arena, and offered to show her some moves, he was visibly displeased. It was getting late and they had another match the day after - which called for lots of rest. Fooling around with some crazy fan (who he later realized was not a "fangirl" at all, but rather the Avatar) was the last thing on his mind. Mako is responsible, and has his priorities set straight: the pro-bending tournament, and his brother.

In order to bend lightning, the user is required to be able to control their emotions, and have a steady mind. Likewise, Mako is able to maintain a firm grasp on his emotions, which explains the indifferent demeanor he carries (for example, when Korra tried to "impress" him when she was earthbending with Bolin, he simply walked off and announced he was heading to bed.) On the other hand, having lived on the streets enabled him to develop a wrathful and near merciless attitude towards those who have harmed/may have harmed loved ones. More specifically, he was seen threatening an Equalist Chi-blocker when asking about Korra, during her kidnapping. Those days he spent doing odd jobs for the Triple Threat Triad are memories he would rather forget, and isn't partiularly proud of it. Mako found it difficult to admit to Korra that he and Bolin had worked for them in their younger days. What he did, however, was what he needed to do in order to take care of his brother and himself, and that is one thing he takes a lot of pride in.

Mako is also, pretty much, your average teenage boy. He has romantic issues (more like a soap opera, honestly) and finds trouble finding with whom his feelings lie more strongly with: Asami, or Korra. He is sensible enough to know that dating Korra would be a bad idea, because they are teammates and if anything were to happen it would ruin their performance. Mako finds himself very jealous when he sees Korra having a good time with Bolin, and even whilst he is embracing Asami, he can't help but watch Korra leave with his younger brother. As the story progresses, he admits to caring deeply for Asami, but his feelings for Korra gradually become stronger than those he presented towards Asami. During Korra’s kidnapping, Mako had more or less lost it when hearing that she had presumably been kidnapped by Amon (which we later find out was a false lead, and that the Avatar was actually with a crazy bloodbender - even worse). It is during this time that he slowly begins to come to terms with the fact that his affections for Korra are more passionate than the ones he previously had for Asami.

Other than all that love drama, Mako does enjoy those he considers very close - which are not many - most likely stemming from the fact that he trusted only his brother, back when they had lived on the poorer side of town. He is a bit reserved, but once you become part of his circle of friends, Mako will gradually ease up and become very relaxed around you. He's really just a guy that's looking out for the most important people in his life, and if he considers you one of them, you have a very loyal friend.

Canon: Homestuck
Timeline: Just after Terezi stabs her and ultimately kills her.

Personality:
If you asked anyone who knew Vriska well enough what she was like the first thing they would (most likely) say is, “Bluh bluh HUGE BITCH.” This already says something about Vriska, but it’s only a taste compared to everything else others having to say about her. Vriska Serket is considered a highly dangerous troll, what with sociopathic tendencies and a deranged personality. Of course while she may be psychotic, hateful, angry, short-tempered, paranoid, there are reasons as to why she is like she is!

One reason could be her giant spider lusus. You see, while other trolls were being taken care of by their lusii, Vriska was left taking care of HER lusus most of the time. This encompassed making sure her monster of a lusus was always fed, lest she be her spider mother’s next meal. These meals were other young trolls that Vriska killed during games of FLARP, an extreme role-playing game that Vriska took high enjoyment in. In it she was at the top of her class and at the highest levels – naturally. She had the best motivator, after all. In FLARP she played with another troll named Terezi. During the games Terezi broke away from Vriska, not particularly liking that Vriska kept killing all the other trolls for fun or for food. Who would? Well they split up and Vriska was left alone to her conquests of booty hunting and treasure stealing.

CHARACTER
Name: Sariel
Canon: El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron
Timeline: After being defeated.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:
It's hard to know where to begin with Sariel due to the complexity of his character, though a good place to start, would be with the fact that he's a Fallen Angel who fell due to being charmed with the idea of human love. As a Fallen Angel, it's fairly safe to assume that he has no idea what mutual love between humans and equals truly is, as the only love he has known is the love of Angels for God, which is more like idolization of one's father. His relationship with love even after he Falls and even after three hundred years living along humans who love him and worship him, is a near obsessive one, obsessed with holding onto the idea and as such, he has many lovers and doesn't even know where to draw the line as he has many lovers and doesn't care about their age or whether or not they're married when he finds them or or anything. But still, he is loved and also shows love toward those who follow him and toward his children. Even the souls of his loved ones stay by his side and he shelters his followers and his children, the Nephilim, from harm to the best of his abilities within the paradise created in the Tower. It's something to be said, for him to be attached to the point where he's willing to give up any even slight resemblance of a human being if it means he can protect his world and all that lives within it.

Because that's what he's like as a lover. As sincere as a lover can be, and obviously attached to everyone and willing to apologize if he fails and yet, he doesn't truly understand the love between humans, having it slip through his fingers. Even so, the point is that he believes he feels it, and won't be convinced otherwise. If he loves someone and they love him in return, then that's good enough for him, unable to really recognize those subtle lines between love and idolization of someone which is what many of his followers merely do. They love him, yes. But they also idolize him and worship him like a God which pretty much screws up the entire equality thing.

And as it's the same love that Sariel shows toward the Father, I believe it's hard for him to distinguish between the two and he has a long way to go in understanding it. Even so, he does feel sadness at failure, and he does care for everyone even if it may not be love in the same way that humans feel it. He does feel things that a human would feel, such as the need to protect, the need to be with, even the need to nurture and most of all desperation to keep those he cares for with him, unwilling to let them go and scared of never getting to see them again, even allowing himself to ask as much when time came to part.

To anyone threatening that which he cares for though, he's a very different man. He has bounds and leaps of confidence in himself and in his abilities, as shown throughout the game when he battles Enoch. Until the other actually does some damage, he merely saunters around the battlefield and attacks at his own pace, though his confidence shows regardless and his confidence borders on arrogance which, with what he is, makes sense. He has a lot of faith in his own abilities, despite weakening from his Fall. He'll engage in the occasional mockery, though as more damage is done to him he'll stop the taunts and start taking things seriously, especially when something he cares for is on the line. Rage falls ever so naturally to him when he believes that which belongs to him has been taken from him and he will fight fiercely when enraged and it takes a bit to quell it. Negative emotion seems to fall an Angel and especially a Fallen Angel in more easily than positive (and kind of half-baked not quite human) emotion. Basically as far as anything remotely positive goes he knows how to act, how to be gentle and sweet-talk, though it's merely things learned over the years away from Heaven rather than his true colors.

That said though, his default would likely be calm with an overtone of arrogance and the right words falling easily to him, unless provoked. He does know to keep things civil as he's far from stupid, even if he has a tendency to default to rage-mode when something goes against him and he actually can't control his anger. It does take a bit to get him to that point, though calming him from it can be troublesome and for anyone not equipped to deal with it (read: people he dislikes) it's better to get the hell out of dodge rather than trying to at all.

It's also worth mentioning that men aren't as much in his favor as women. I don't think he particularly minds them even if he talks his male followers into fighting each other as much as just not understanding they're just as valuable as women are.

As a final footnote I should mention that Sariel fell not to betray God but merely to find love which he has his own ideas and thoughts about. He still loves God and dislikes going against his Word even if he will to protect that which he feels belongs with him. His relationship with Angels outside the ones he fell with are bound to be slightly strained, though depending on who they are he'll try to fly under their radar or merely ignore them until such time they prove themselves enemy or ally (or indifferent). All in all, Sariel is beautifully tragic in his desire to obtain a love he could never understand and normally easy to get along if not somewhat aloof and hard to establish deep emotional connections with, though easily enraged should that which he cares for be threatened or torn away from him.

CHARACTER
Name: Firo Prochainezo
Canon: Baccano!
Timeline: After the end of first book, The Rolling Bootlegs
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:
For a member of the Camorra, Firo's a surprisingly friendly sort. Considerably bold, he isn't afraid to confront people, nor is he worried about the impression he leaves since he's simply being himself. He's a representative of the Martillo Family, and coming from the city and age of mafias and power struggles, it's a fact that he flashes as readily as a police badge. If anyone knows anything of the Camorras, then they know well not to give the boy trouble, or they'll find out just how much trouble they've gotten themselves into. And for those stubborn and upset enough, they'll know which clan to direct their ire towards if they're made a fool of.

It's not to say that Firo actively looks for trouble himself... but things happen, and as a young man having chosen a dangerous path in life, he's not about to let such details get in the way of him experiencing new things. This goes hand-in-hand with his tendancy to meddle, but he means well, really. Sometimes he just can't help himself; if something's going on and he just happens to be around, more often than not, Firo will go to investigate, or jump into something that didn't originally involve him. He's not afraid of the consequences. It isn't only due to his immortality. There's little one needs to fear when even death holds no claim on them. But even before gaining such a trait, Firo was never afraid to take risks, to live life on the edge. There was no hesitation in his decision to join the ranks of the Camorra, and he's never been one to back out on anything once setting his foot in.

He has street smarts, but he also has something else- the knowledge of many an immortal before him. After absorbing the immortal known as Szilard Quates, Firo has gained not only the knowledge and experience of the old alchemist, but of all of Quates' victims before him. Among what has been passed on to Firo, likely the secret of creating the elixir of immortality as Quates had gained when he 'ate' Maiza's younger brother long ago after having found out that Maiza had passed along that knowledge to him. With this newfound knowledge, Firo also learned how he could break the control Quates had on Ennis to allow the Homunculus a chance to live life as any other person would, and although his feelings for her are rather obvious at times, he still has a tendency to be shy in expressing them to her.

First Person:
Okay, so...I got nothin'. Even if I was that drunk, none'a the guys woulda gone through this much trouble to pull a prank. [Firo hesitates. Then again, Isaac and Miria went to a lot of extremes over plenty of paltry things-] ...but they weren't at the Alveare...

[A frown pulls at his face as he strokes his chin. Idly, he begins to twirl the watch by its chain, sending the image blurring.]

An' then there's this... [He catches it in his palm again, looking down at the open face.]

Well, guess the first thing I should do is figure out where the hell I am, then see if I can telephone Mister Maiza. How hard can that be?

Third Person:
It was ridiculous, perhaps even unbelievable- or a least it would have been if the boy hadn't already been thrown into enough unbelievable situations already. Finding out you were suddenly unable to die was pretty high up there on the scale of 'weird and unusual,' but this was starting to come in as a close second. It was a little worrying when even the old man's memories couldn't place anything of this sort under his vast two hundred-plus years of experience. Firo wasn't one to let that bother him too much. There wasn't any sense in worrying about something he didn't completely understand, right?

"Well, how would Mister Maiza deal with somethin' like this..." he mused aloud, tilting his head in thought as he folded an arm across his chest. "...guess he'd try to figure out where he was, first off..." The young Camorrista glanced about. He'd been walking quite a ways from where he'd first found himself without really pausing to consider that maybe he should have paid more attention in the first place. Then again it probably wouldn't have made much difference; none of the things around him struck him as familiar, at least, nothing that was native to New York. "Okay, not workin'. Let's work backwards then. What was I doin' before I got here?" Frowning in thought, he stopped to lean against a wall. He'd been at the Alveare- nothing unusual about that. Maiza was there, and Ennis and Czeslaw. They'd had dinner, sat about and chatted, knocked back a few drinks. It had been a long day, and spending it in the company of close friends was always a great way to end it. "Oh yeah. I dozed off, I guess." He remembered feeling Ennis' hand resting on his shoulder.

...that still didn't explain his present circumstances, and the puzzled expression on his face mirrored his thoughts as he came to this conclusion. "I woke up here. Well that don't make any sense..." Sighing, he scratched the back of his neck. "Guess I'm better off finding out where the hell this is..." He shoved away from the wall, looking about again before he set off. When as lost as he already was, it didn't really matter which direction one went, did it?

CHARACTER
Name: Roberto
Canon: Suikoden Tierkreis
Timeline: After returning from Cragbark
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Roberto can be pretty well describes with the word tsundere - especially when it comes to Sieg. He has a hard time showing his concern and care for other people and often hides it with biting and slightly snark and rude remarks though his from time to time, the expression on his face give away his true feelings, like when his princess decided to join Sieg's army, Roberto commented on how he has to go along with the decisions of her and how he had to tolerate Sieg now, but looked completely happy about it. Roberto is also quick to raise his temper, when things go wrongly and he fully expresses his anger without any second thoughts, but he can be surprisingly levelheaded sometimes. One such a example would be when Sieg was getting all heated up that the leader of the Furious Roar didn't remember a member that was part of his clan, Roberto was the one who asked Sieg to back down.

Roberto also lacks a bit in the manner department when it comes to complete strangers, he doesn't make an effort to talk politely to them, like when he just met Moana and she was squealing about the princess of the Magedom, Roberto asked if she never shuts up. On the other hand, he can be very obedient when it comes to the leaders of his own country, Astrasia. He listens and obeys to all of their orders. He is also extremely loyal and dedicated towards them and his country and would pretty much do everything for them, as he loves those things dearly.

Roberto is also a very skilled swordsman and he is - with 16 years - the youngest member of the elite brigade from Astrasia, the Blades of Night's Veil. He has a lot of courage to back this talent up, as he wants to fight on the front lines quite often, but he doesn't let his talent raise towards his head, so one could say he is pretty down to earth. His strength doesn't come alone from his talent, though, as he had put a lot of hard work in his training eve since his country had been taken over by The Order. Despite his tsundere tendencies, he is able to reflect himself and feels increasingly bad when he realizes he made a mistake and wants to make up for it, for example when Roberto called Cougar, a 'beast man' a monster, he decided to accompany Sieg on a journey just to apologize to him. He also hates the thought of being indebted to anyone, so he often tends to refuse to accept help from anyone.

Roberto seems to do a lot of thinking when he isn't in battle and what is happening in their world or what their enemies might try to achieve and mentions once envy towards Sieg's behavior, who is just able to jump into situations without much thinking. Roberto is also very proud, which made him easily fall into the trap King Danash had set for the Blades as well as Sieg's army, as he compared the feats that had been accomplished in battle from either group, making Roberto see Sieg's army more as rivals rather than comrades.

First Person: [A young man with short, light brown hair, wearing a blue bandana and blue armor wanders through the streets. He looks less than pleased, actually, it looks like he is about to explode. A town - nice and fine, but so far he hadn't seen a trace of anyone he knew and it was nagging on his nerves. Once he reaches the bridge, he stops and his look follows the flow of the river.]

Damn, this is leading nowhere1

[He rams a fist on the railing to emphasize is anger.]

I need to get back to the castle of that idiot.

[He lets out a sigh. Well, stopping here would accomplish even less. Time to act like said idiot and continue searching. He starts walking again. Hopefully there were any leads somewhere.]

Third Person: Roberto stepped down from that strange, fast-moving thing. It wasn't the first time he has traveled to another world, so his surprise wasn't all that huge, but something was fishy about this. Firstly, he couldn't remember going through a corridor to reach another world. Secondly, he couldn't remember boarding such a strange thing.

The thing behind him departed again, leaving him a bit dumbfounded. If the corridor was in that thing, he was pretty screwed. He had no idea if it would come back or not, so waiting seemed to be the smartest thing, for now, at least. Not without some exploring, though. Perhaps he wasn't the only one here. He had just gotten back with Sieg from Cragbark after checking out what happened to the mountains - after all, a part of them had just disappeared. That brought another thought to him - Astrasia! He had o know if his country had been affected by the change of the area. There was no point in wasting time here.

His walking became faster - perhaps there was another entrance to the corridor - if he was lucky, but in and outside the house was nothing. Nothing except a sign that was welcoming him, at that. "Just what kind of nonsense is this!", Roberto crossed his arms, a clearly unpleased expression was gracing his face. He didn't really want to walk away in case the thing came back, but something told him he was going to wait a long time if he did hat. No, he had to search for the others. He started to walk away from the house to see what he could find out.
