✗ Applications are processed weekly, every weekend. The cut-off time for the submission of applications is 11:59PST on Saturday.
✗ Before applying, please read the FAQ and Rules pages.
✗ Please submit your application with the journal you plan to use if you have one made already. If not, another journal is fine, but we prefer your intended journal so it makes for an easier time in granting access to the mod journal and the contacts page.
✗ For very long applications, we would ask you to please separate them into various comments so that they will not take up too much of the page.

A note for CR AU applications
Ruby City does allow previous game history/CR to be brought over on a case by case basis. If you want to include this in your application please add additional sections for PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT and PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY beneath the Personality and Background/History sections.

In these additional sections we would like to see a brief outline of your character's previous game history and how it potentially impacted on and altered their canon personality.

Thank you for your application. Unfortunately, we have decided to decline it, in part due to the reasons we detailed in your previous rejection, and also due to other concerns.

Firstly, we find that listing his canon as the Marvel Cinematic Universe while still drawing so heavily from the comic creates a problematic situation in which the separate canons do not mesh well, especially given that Bruce Banner is the least developed of all the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We understand drawing on the comics to bridge gaps, but the comics here are not being used as supplementary material.

In this case, perhaps comic canon may be better-suited as it is the more heavily drawn medium here.

Personality: Elizabeth is somewhat alien. She doesn't exactly understand how humanity works and while she knows what things ARE she frequently mistakes how they actually work. Usually things that fascinate her are imagined in the most sinister way possible, given how she viewed an escalator as a punishment and an open sewer grate to be a trap. Things she does understand generally are spiritual or mythological and she tends to go overboard with them, even going so far as to giving a million yen to a fountain just to gain the favor of the "spirit" that lived in it.

Elizabeth's biggest issue is she just is beginning to understand how humanity succeeds by coming together. She has MADE the realization but still sometimes defaults to her "Let me handle this!" approach to the world. This is frequently why she meddles in things she's not really wanted in and causes problems as SHE will be the one to fix it! She doesn't know how, but she has lots of heart, and not a whole lot of planning and that will save the world! Or at least it will be more interesting than actually trying to figure things out. She did finally come to the understanding that it is the bonds humanity forms with each other which is its greatest strength and ultimately unlocked her wild card ability, but old habits die hard.

While she frequently CAN be aloof about things, if something pings her interest Elizabeth will go in with all her heart and enthusiasm, even if not really wanted there. ESPECIALLY if not wanted there. She crashed a competition to dub the manliest of all men, even though she was a woman, just because it seemed exciting to do so. Her desire to save Minato led her to leave her position in the velvet room and go on a quest to kill Erebus, a monster given life by humanity's desire for self destruction, and she was able to focus her power enough to kill it twice within seconds of its resurrection.

Liz doesn't exactly have the highest regard for life, when she was asking for subdual quests she wanted proof of the kills, body parts, when she asked for something to die. While she also asked for curious items from the world outside those were much rarer. When angered Elizabeth's first response is violence, and if she can't solve a problem with violence obviously she isn't using enough of it. Her first attempt at finding herself was to initiate a duel with Minato.

Despite all of this Elizabeth is very devoted. When she was exploring the outside world she knew that doing what she wanted and staying with Minato would lead to him loosing access to her aide in the Velvet Room. When she was Aigis' attendant she did everything she could do to keep Aigis from giving up and falling to her mechanical loss of heart. When those duties were done she stood guard and killed the monster that threatened the soul of Minato twice before setting off to find her own way of killing the monster without killing all of humanity.

Wild Card - Elizabeth has won the power to change persona, each one with specific powers. This also gives Elizabeth the power to form social links (even if they are useless without the velvet room she REALLY wants to form them). Each persona has different power and only the power of the persona that is active will work. Persona come from the soul of the user and are not actual summons themselves. The Persona will be listed below. Note: Hama and Mudo spells generally are instakill spells, given the power drain and what not I'm setting them to mook only, not named foes or targets with known faces.

Thanatos - Reflects Dark magic, weak against light magic, Megidola (Heavy Almighty/non elemental) damage, Tempest Slash (Powerful slash attack), Evil Smile (chance of scaring opponents), Ghastly Wail (Causes those afraid to die of fight), Virus Breath (Poison attack)

Surt - Absorbs Fire, Weak against Ice, Agidyne (Big single target fireball), Deathbound (Large Slash), Fire Bost (Makes Fire magic stronger), Maragidyne (Large multi target fireball), Ragnarok (Really REALLY big single target fireball), Fire Amp (Makes Fire magic even stronger)

Elizabeth channels the strength of the persona she has active. Thor, Masakado, Thanatos and Cu Chulain are quite strong.

Elizabeth comes from the velvet room, as such she tends to be highly resistant to sanity damage, it is hinted at one point she speaks fluent Lost Carcosan. She also has a large supply of magic strength. Also due to her senses and upbringing if an illusion does not fool all the senses she has a good chance of seeing through it.

Liz also has a very sensitive nose and can determine the ingredients of food simply by smelling them much to the chagrin of people who have secret recipes.
